Milo wasn't told that he wasn't going to stay here, at least not yet. Actually, not even the school was sure until after the day.
When all of the students were standing in front of the places they would be staying at, the teacher told them.
"As you have probably figured out this stone building behind me will be where you will be staying for the remainder of your schooling. I must regretfully inform you that you will all be split up in groups of two. These groups will either only have boys or only girls."
The students had been waiting to hear this. The roommate that they would have to share with, for the remainder of their time at the school. They weren't sure who they were going to get, but it would be very important. If they could get someone that was similar it would be a great blessing. If they got someone drastically different, it would be the greatest curse to befall them.
The teacher continued to speak, saying,
"These groups will be given rooms together, women on the left and men on the right. If Women go to the men's side, there will be drastic consequences. If any men go to the women's side, there will also be massive consequences. These dorms are only for sleeping and studying. There will be no parties or rough housing allowed. These dorms are one of the newest buildings on campus, so you better not misuse them."
The students were confused by the teachers last sentence. Newest building on campus? How was that possible? The building looked absolutely ancient. Why would the school build a building with such an old design and on top of that such old looking materials?
One of the students asked the teacher the question that was on all of their minds.
"Teacher if this is the schools newest building why does it look so old? If you recently made it, why not use modern materials? After all modern materials are way stronger and better than stone."
When the teacher heard this, he held back making a smile, but he failed. He then started to laugh profusely. After he calmed down he said.
"You are quite silly Ben. Just because I said this was the most recently made, it does not mean it was made not too long ago. Actually, it was made very long ago. Well, very long ago to you. Time can get pretty convoluted here or to those with a Singula. This building was made a little over 600 years ago. I still remember when they laid the ground work for it..."
The students were absolutely flabbergasted when they heard this. It wasn't the age of the building that surprised them. Well, it also was that, 600 years ago and that the newest building? What really surprised them was the age of the teacher. He was over 600 years old. The teacher was over 600 years old and he still looked so young? If what he said was true how old was the headmaster that looked like he was ancient. All of the students shuddered at this thought.
Stolen story; please report.
They could only imagine how old the headmaster was. The amount of knowledge a person would have if they lived that long would be horrifyingly scary, if you were his enemy it would be incredibly dangerous. The amount of power someone like that would have would also be equally horrifying.
The headmaster was as the children thought incredibly strong, but he was not the strongest. In front of those with true strength the headmaster could only put his tail between his legs.
One of those "truly strong" was one of the student's parents. Who's parent? Milos parent obviously, Milos mother was incredibly strong.
If Milo followed a similar path to his mother, he would also become incredibly strong. There was only one problem with this though. Firstly, Milo couldn't follow the same path as his mother. The main reason for this is that his mother completely cleaned out the path she took. Secondly, Milos Singula was different than his mother's Singula. You may ask how considering they both are space manipulation. When Milo reawakened, there was no number in front of the word space. When his mother reawakened, there was a 3 before the word space.
The only reason why the school didn't question this was because, they assumed Milos was the same, but he just didn't say the 3. This was very wrong, and it would surprise many people later on.
Finally, the teacher started to split up the students into their groups. The teacher told the students.
"I will now start to split you all up into groups. I will start with the guys first, Phillip and Azrael. You two will be sharing a room, your room is A32."
When Milo heard this, he was overjoyed. He hadn't been put in a room with Azrael, Milo wondered if the school knew it would be too dangerous to put them together. This was actually right; the school didn't put them together because they knew it would cause problems.
The teacher started to say the rest of the groups.
"Ben your roommate is not here yet, but he will get here soon. You and your roommate will be staying in room A64. Daisy and Rose, you will also both be sharing a room. Your room is D33. Here are all of your student keys. Enter through the doors directly behind me."
After saying this he handed out keys, these keys looked like a thick crystal credit card, he gave these to all of the students. Well, not all of the students. Milo and Renjamin were the only two that were left out from the rest of the group.
Milo was confused by what he saw as a mishap, so he asked the teacher.
"Why is Renjamin and I left out from the rest of the group?"
The teacher responded with.
"Sadly, we ran out room this year and don't have any extra rooms. The last time this happened was over 600 years ago. We have decided to put you in the haunted dormitories. Don't be scared the builders just had a very bad naming sense. The place you will be rooming out is also one of the oldest buildings ever made here so be careful."
Milo asked.
"Old? How old exactly?"
The teacher responded to Milo saying.
"No one really knows, not even the headmaster. It was made long ago, Millions of years ago, who knows maybe longer than that."
Milo was intrigued by such an old building, 'there must be so much to learn and discover there' he thought. Renjamin did not hold a similar mindset to Milo, he was horrified by what the teacher said.
Both people had different ideas and only one of them was right. Which one you might ask? I will tell you, the one who had the correct mindset was Renjamin...
