Prologue

Many centuries ago, the realms of Terramora, Zephyra, Ignara, and Aqualis were ruled by the four guardians of the watch towers. Each guardian, cursed with death, war, famine, and plague, ruled over the realms with darkness in their hearts. Each gate, a towering structure of mythical design, was watched over by a guardian whose presence echoed the elemental power they protected.

Kaelith Draven, the Guardian of the North, stood at his watch tower of ice and stone. Clad in fur-lined armor that shimmered with the cold light of distant stars, he was a figure of stoic grandeur. His eyes, like frost-covered emeralds, surveyed the encroaching twilight with a silent resolve. The northern gate, carved from ancient glaciers, gleamed with a chill that seemed to radiate from his very being.

To the South, Seren Valara commanded his domain of thick jungles and suffocating fogs. His presence was a combination of strength and rage. Draped in flowing robes that shifted colors like a burning flame, he moved with purpose and agility. His gate, adorned with skulls, blood, and sharp blades, challenged any who dared draw near.

At the eastern gate, Thorne Alaric stood as a sentinel against the ever-shifting sky. His form was sharp and angular, a stark contrast to the billowing clouds and swirling winds that surrounded him. Dressed in armor reminiscent of storm clouds, his eyes, keen and piercing tracked every gust and whirl of the tempestuous air. The eastern gate, a towering edifice of swirling winds and electric energy, crackled with the power of the storm.

In the West, Liora Fenwick held dominion over his realm of tranquil seas and moonlit shores. His demeanor was calm, yet his eyes, deep and reflective, betrayed a boundless strength. Adorned in robes that shimmered with the hues of twilight and flowing waters, he stood beside the western gate, which appeared as a magnificent structure of flowing tides and serene depths. The soft murmur of the ocean seemed to rise and fall in time with his measured breaths.

As the twilight deepened and the first stars appeared in the darkening sky, the four ancient guardians stood vigilant, each embodying the essence of their elemental realms. Together, they formed a timeless harmony and even though they let their people suffer they were a presence to behold. Tired of the pain they had to endure, their people made plea's to the Ancients for salvation.

Their cries filled the Desert of Thalm, where the Sands of Time were kept. It is Ancient Law that no Guardian could interfere with the inner workings of another or the realm they rule over for that matter. But wedges were often made between the lines of the law. This, and other reasons, propelled the ruler of Thalm to take action as he did that fateful seventh day.

The sun's last rays painted the sky with hues of crimson and gold as Eldrin Thalmaris, the embodiment of time, made his way through the timeless corridors of his realm. His presence was marked by a majestic calm, his robes of deep twilight blue flowed like the river of ages itself as he walked. As he approached the inner sanctum where his three daughters awaited, the air seemed to shimmer with the weight of his ancient wisdom.

First, he entered the chamber of Eldoria Nareth, the guardian of the past. Her mini universe was a vast expanse of scrolls and relics, where shadows danced upon walls adorned with the tapestry of forgotten epochs. Eldoria, with her silver-white hair cascading like a river of moonlight, was immersed in a sea of ancient texts. Her eyes, dark pools of reflection, held the depth of countless histories and memories. She looked up as her father entered, her gaze softening with a tender reverence. She wore long robes of deep earth tones, embroidered with intricate patterns that seemed to shift and tell stories of ages past.

Eldrin's gaze lingered on her for a moment. He motioned her to follow as he continued on to the mini universe of Lyra Sereth, the keeper of the present. This chamber was alive with vibrant colors and flowing, living tapestries that shifted with the rhythm of the moment. Lyra, radiant as the dawn, was engaged in weaving the threads of current events into an ever-changing masterpiece. Her eyes sparkled with a lively, emerald green, and her hair, a cascade of sunlit gold, seemed to dance with the energy of the Now. She wore a gown of fluid, iridescent fabric that caught the light and shifted through every shade of the spectrum. As Eldrin approached, she looked up with a bright, welcoming smile that seemed to light up th entire room.

She caught sight of Eldoria and followed as Eldrin continued on to the final chamber. He made his way to the mini universe of Aurelia Veyra, the guardian of the future. Her domain was a place of ethereal beauty, where shimmering vision of what was yet to come floated like constellations in a twilight sky. Aurelia stood at the center of this cosmic tableau, her presence both radiant and mysterious. Her golden hair flowed like threads of pure sunlight, and her eyes, a striking shade of deep azure, held an enigmatic gleam that spoke of possibilities yet to unfold. She was clad in a gown of delicate, shifting light that mirrored the ever-changing tapestry of the future. As Eldrin entered, she turned to him with a serene and hopeful expression, her gaze reflecting the boundless potential of what was yet to come.

As Eldrin Thalmaris surveyed his daughters, each embodying a facet of the eternal flow of time, he felt a deep sense of pride and harmony. The past, present, and future were woven together through their unique qualities, each essential to the grand tapestry of existence. In this moment, surrounded by the embodiment of time itself, the timeless guardian of the ages knew that he had done the right thing.

His daughters, knowing what was, what is, and what shall be, already knew his reason for calling on them.

"I need you to tell me how to stop the Guardians of the Watch Towers." He said, finally.
