Chapter 1- In the blink of an eye...

The faint red aurora faded from around Aiko as he spawned in this new world, the mortal world.

He looked down at his hands. They appeared completely normal, for a mortal. What had happened to his crimson red cracked flesh? Instead, in it's place, was a soft pink-ish skin. Aiko wasn't sure if he liked it.

He looked around, taking in his surroundings, unsure of where he was..

Hmm.. this looked like the Royal Mountain District, he had surveyed it through his father's globe glass many times. His father had told him it was where the mortal emperors ruled from. That must have meant he was in the city of Peace, the last human mortal city left.

The realm of the mortals had been much larger, and their population had been very expansive. Aiko's father had changed that. He had spawned vile immortal beasts across the land, the humans had no way to stop them. They crushed human civilisation. Millions were slaughtered.

This single act of immense cruelty towards the mortals had been what had driven Aiko to his decision to destroy his father once and for all.

Thinking back, he didn't regret it one bit.

Aiko had spent many hours watching over the mortals. They fascinated him. Before his father had culled them, they used to have immense wars between each other. Killing each other by their millions.

They were so disrespectful to each other, and in the process, they were destroying the very planet on which they lived.

And it wasn't just their pathetic battles that were destroying their planet. Their trades were destroying their world at a much faster pace. Cutting the trees down that provided oxygen for them to breathe en masse. It was ridiculous.

Aiko's father had said he was doing the righteous thing by killing those billions of humans at once, he claimed he was saving their world and their species from extinction. Aiko knew otherwise. His father was pure evil. He would have known there would have been another solution, but he would not have cared.

Yet here Akio was now. Standing in the very city that the last mortals were settling. The place they called home.

He was going to put his father's wrongs right...

He was going to make a change.
