In a certain dungeon, a party of adventurers encountered a rather problematic
situation.
The party was already surrounded by the zombies inhabiting the dungeon.
The magician of the group and also the leader of the party was already thinking of
a way to escape their current predicament.
He can't use overly powerful spells to blow those bastards away as well as use a
large area attack spell due to dungeon's old structure. And if he does, it will only
result into a cave in. Which was something he don't want to gamble on.
Beating them one by one using his enhanced fireball spell will only take it forever
as the zombies keep flooding in as he killed another.
The other party members are also exhausted already barely defending themselves
with their tattered equipments.
To tell you the truth, he already new a way to end this. It was the magic scroll they
obtained in a hidden chest. Things that obtained in those kind of chest are worth
of fortune if sold to the magic institute.
The scroll was called the dimension rift. Using his identification skill, his
understanding was that it has the ability to confine beings into the abyss.
So if he used it, the zombies will helplessly thrown out of their sight making their
escape possible.
It was a rather difficult decision since he will let go something that he himself
know will regret someday. Wealth and status, it was a quick ticket to obtain those.
But, those will only amount to nothing if himself was killed. And besides, his party
member's life weigh more heavier to him.
So with those conflicted feelings finally washed away with his resolved.
He activate the sequence and used the scroll. He then targets every zombie in the
room. After acknowledging, a power surge came from the scroll making an
extremely bright light.
After the light subsides, the zombies are nowhere to be seen. Using this chance,
the party then quickly run towards the exit path of the dungeon with face of relief
and joy.
But... the magician has mistaken the description of the scroll and that mistake will
lead a certain world in chaos and evitably... their doom.

My name is Akatsuki, Akatsuki Minamoto
Currently, I am 21 years old virgin, no girlfriend since birth.
My hobbies are guns and swords. I have a few of them decorating my house.
Training in handling them was something my father taught me when I was just 6. It
was mostly the reason I collect them.
Other than those, I also play MMOs, some console games, and sometimes PC games
as well.
Day trading, this was my current source of income. It was something that my father
inherited to me. I started when I was 12. I was an expert in it. Father told me I
was way better than him when he was just starting.
I didn't enter college and yet I have already a house of my own. A car and a
motorbike of my own. All thanks to day trading.
On my bank account, I have already nine figures sum on my swiss bank account.
But, I don't have friends and my only relative here was my father and yet he
already died last year. I was alone now.
Father said I have a very great brain so he said I might as well try college. But
what I thought was, people go to college to have skills in order to have a high
paying jobs. Thus my conclusion, going to college was only a way to precure more
money.
There was another conclusion I made but I immediately trashed it. Since it was too
idealistic. Me, being too realistic, didn't except it.
And I admit, playing games was just a temporary way for me to ease my boredom.

I have already long realized that my life was no goal.
The goals of normal people was already realized by me. House, car, wealth. Though,
there was another one, family.
I gave up already on this since I thought humans don't want me. The reason being,
I don't have 'real friends' since I was born.
All of them are just friends because I have the money. Humans are such kind of
beings is what I have buried in my mind.
Even though they are already rich, they still want more. Greed as they say. I also
have this thing since I still continue my day trading. It was the only thing that can
make me happy this days.
Oh, right... I am nearing the 10 digit this year. I wonder how long will it take.
Ideas like society being destroyed was not on my mind.
Not yet, until it happened...

One morning during my monthly trips to replenish my food supply in a certain super
mart, a box fell straight from the sky and landed in front of me.
On impact, the chest broke down and revealed its contents.
Unconciously, I looked upwards wondering where it came. I was in the middle of a
park and there is no tall buildings surrounding that park. Only a bunch of 2 storey
buildings and some bungalow houses. So it was impossible that it was thrown from a
building. The only possibility was it fell down from an air craft but there is no such
thing since if it does the sky will have a red light twinkling signaling it was an
aircraft.
Oddly as it was I still approach the broken box and inspect its contents. A small
rectangular box, a book, a black hooded coat, and a long red mufflers.
The coat was made from leather and yet it was light weight. The muffler was soft
and fluffy, a perfect winter wear. The design was all in my taste but I will look
wierd if I use it now since it was in a day of summer.
Then I picked up the rectangular box, my thoughts was it contained an accessory.
Opening it, what I found inside was a brilliant blue crystal stone cut and sculpted
masterfull into 2 lion heads facing opposite to each other. It was so cool that I
tried it on right away.
Last was the book but since I was in a hurry to stop and read it, I tucked it away
and proceed back to my initial agenda.
When I got home, I placed the bags on the table while I hanged the coat and
muffler on the front door and placed the book near my computer.
After that, I proceed to my next routine.
It was already night time when I can finally had the time to see what the book was
all about.
Seating on a chair in my study, I placed the book flat on my desk and flipped open
the book.
But when I opened it, I suddenly lost my consciousness.
When I came to, I found my self lying flat on the table with my face right on the
book.
[Good morning, did you have a good sleep young master?!]
A voice assaulted my mind and it made me perplexed for a second before I looked
around me in panic.
[I am sure you are wondering where I am and who, or rather, what I am. Look down
then you'll understand.]
Looking down, all I saw was the book that I picked up this early morning.
'Is it the book?'
I thought as I stare at it when all of a sudden. The blank page of the book revealed
shining letters and it was read as 'Hello'.
At the shock of what just happened, I suddenly back off resulting in me falling
backwards from the chair.
It was the first encounter of Akatsuki with a dimesion traveller.
Prologue end...
