A sword shines at dusk. The setting sun glares from far mountains. The wind resonates with the blade and the world shines once more by angel's blade. Like the morning sun it glows.
Aloft in the air, her figure is adorned by lavish red robe adorned by golden threads. The only hint of its body gleamed is at her chest forged into black iron, smoke and tar dripping down to its blood red cloth.
Her face covered in soot and hair parted to reveal black teeth and white gum. Angel's face grined relishing the moment. Without delay she lifted her arm and spoke.
"As the emmisary of this world, I, shall be the witness of this occasion."
While the voice was angelic, the men of each side paled. Angel noticing herself drooling, dampened her bloodthirst. The red angel continued.
"Be not afraid mortals, taste this sweet air of wet land and stomped grass. For it is undoubtedly your enemy who will fill this tarnished land. Money, glory, forgiveness, accension and family. I won't value them for you. For you already know. Live to tell or die and fall! Wield your fate sons of men, today will be a glorious day!"
Angel slashed her sword and carved the earth and the angel laughed as hard as she could.
"Sir, command us." plead men next to me. I unsheated my sword and looked at the angel between us. "May the angel favours us." i murmured. Like it would ever be possible. Readying for whats to come, i shouted to reinforce my weavering heart with conviction. "To glory! First men! Charge!"
The men descended the valley, like the rushing river they hurled themselves. This battle had no nuance nor any tactic apart from sending men against one another.
I eyed the figure responsible once more. The angel of war. There was little we as kings could do. The war declared two years ago was spent constantly evading and avoiding massive battles. The reason in question hovered in the air. The war reaped men helped by that very angel.
Some may ask later, so know we tried. For a hundred years that creature will plague this land and in but two months, northren kingdoms had fallen into anarchy.
We tried to starve it from bloodshed, the attempt resulted in disaster. Have the disasters been averted, something else would come up to bring war.
Envoys getting lost, killed by peasants. Resources found close to border, crop failure, no mother dying in birth and criminals being too successful already happened in the knigdoms to the west. I hope history will forgive my inability and that my kingdom survive this millenia. For our punsihment ,for going against our era, was to have a frenzyshroom spread in the time of multiple crop failures. The people ate it, unable to stave off hunger. Loan sharks sold sketchy cleansed frenzy shrooms and when they failed to purify it properly, entire towns became bloodbaths.
To stop the maddness, king of Dhrim and i declared war. The relief came quickly as most mushrooms dried up and

My men armed with leather and mail charged with axes and maces, clashing in the middle with the enemy. That red menace joined in as well, decending to earth and cleaving men. Her precision cut the souls of men and bashed our minds into mush. Brutal. Efficent. Monsterous.

Light was closer than ever before. Well, it wasn't a light exactly nor was it a singular object. Now closer, he could see that the light he was moving towards was near uncountable amount of burning spheres. <...> He wasn't sure of what to do. More so think. He was still far away but going by the amount of time he spent, would have to be hundereds if not thousands of times spent to reach his destination. A guess that was too hopefull bordering on wishful thinking. While here, i should write about my memory patching. There was simply too many holes in many expiriences. Some i couldn't belive to be true, others supported by something else. The best anology would be like layering two swiss chesse slices from diffrent chesse. Sure you now have some patched places but there are still holes left. Best guess at my identity, would be some 25 year old, unimpressive youth. Games, movies, books simply read for entertainment. Most of life altering time is delegated to become support to such a life. Sometimes poems, sometimes music, sometimes dance and sometimes visual arts. I didn't do everything there was to do, i just did everything with no extra spending. There was some regret here and there but who doesn't have those. I lived as i died being a stone faced ignorant child. Those things wasn't considered much however, because my past simply didn't relate to the spirit. Sure it was me but for a spirit such memory was easy to let go... but somethings aren't forgatten even if it is best that it is. ----------------- Currently i was reaching the inner area of those 'lights'. Those things weren't light bulbs but giant colourfull shperes that looked like they were on fire. Why are they not on fire? Because it was kind of like a cover. Some are actually transperent, showing various solar object groups. Sure it was good to see this marvelous scenery, but i had to ask. "Where am i going? Will i just pass this place completely? Are you... serious!? Who disturbed me in such a incompetent way? I will beat them up until their sorry face look like a tomato. Mash them till they are a proper sauce then i will dip them in bread and savour each one. Dam i miss eating food."
