A guy named Ahmed woke up. He was sitting inside a vehicle with 7 other people. He did not know what was going on. In fact, this reality was too far from his normal day to day life that his brain shut down. Ahmed was frozen. He was literally speechless.
‘Is this a prank?’ Thought Ahmed.
Ahmed observed other people. All of them were still sleeping and he knew none of them. They were wearing normal clothes, except for one. This one was wearing a SWAT uniform, masked skull motorcycle bandana, full of equipment, and a heavy gun strapped on his shoulder. Seeing him sent a chill to Ahmed’s lower body.
‘What the hell is going on?’ Cursed him.
He looked around the others. None of them seemed to have weapons nor pieces of equipment on their bodies. Their bodies seemed normal too, none of them seemed muscular. In fact, some of them were not fit. Two of them, one man and one woman, seemed fat. Their age seemed around 45-50 years old, as old as Ahmed’s parents. The other four seemed on the young side. Age around 17-30 years old. Only one was wearing a high school uniform, the others seemed to be working age. Their faces looked normal. Not too ugly, not too beautiful or handsome.
He took a deep breath trying to calm down. When he returns his look on the SWAT guy, the guy looked back. Ahmed’s heartfelt stopped when he saw a big-automatic-heavy-gun thing was pointed at him by the SWAT guy.
“Don’t do anything drastic. We will talk. But wait until everyone wakes up.”

Jie’s POV
‘Someone woke up before me.’ Thought Jie.
While Ahmed was still looking around, Jie silently pointed his assault rifle at him. Hence when Ahmed looked back in Jie’s direction, he felt time moved slowly until it stopped.
“Don’t do anything drastic. We will talk. But wait until everyone wakes up.” Said Jie. Ahmed did not respond. He only looked at the assault rifle which could take away his life, piercing through his body if it was fired even accidentally.
“I will not kill you. Do as I say. Stay there. Don’t do anything drastic. Wait until everyone wakes up.” After Ahmed nodded, Jie slowly put the nozzle of his assault rifle down.
Jie slowly counted the people inside the vehicle. ‘Eight people difficulty… relatively easy. Based on appearance, all of them look normal.’ He checked his watch. ‘Resident Evil. Stay with Umbrella Sanitation Team Leader, Codename: One. Within 300 m radius.’
He looked back at the guy in front of him who woke up before him. Somehow Ahmed felt fear upon being gazed at by Jie.
Back to Ahmed’s POV
Ahmed felt paralyzed. Even when the SWAT guy in front of him already put away his assault rifle, Ahmed still could remember vividly how he was about to die. He watched his trembling hand and he could hear his heart beating fast.
Minutes passed by. As Ahmed calmed his breathing, some of the sleeping people started to wake up. The first time Ahmed saw the SWAT guy (MC still did not know Jie’s name yet) did the same thing, pointing his assault rifle to other people, he felt his heart beating faster again. Ahmed tried to calm down, breathing in, breathing out, saying calm down to himself, and close his eyes. By the time the SWAT guy repeated the third and fourth time, Ahmed still felt fear. But at least he was able to think, able to grip his hand, and no longer paralyzed. Ahmed wanted to look at this guy in anger, but he knew that showing aggression to someone who held a gun is stupid.
