Chapter I – Reborn
A mysterious man just awaken from a deep slumber, as he rise in a Healing Capsule from 2 months in coma in Lee’s residence in Japan.
“Hu where am I?” the man attempted to stand using his weak/numb feet but failed and falls down in the floor, He crawl near the chair and exerted his fading strength just to stand-up, He saw his own self in the mirror, He saw an unfamiliar face of a young Japanese that looks Ukyo Tachibana of Samurai Showdown, He was very surprised and his mind almost explode, almost lost his last ounce of sanity, then tears flow into her chin and he shout “WHO AM I!!!!!! WHO AM I!!!!!! WHO AM I!!!!!!.
Then a beautiful young girl comes and hug him. “Thanks goodness you are now awake my dear”.
“My dear….who are you? Then he shout in pain ahhhh”.
“Dear please take this pain reliever, your name is Ken Musashi, I am Anna Lee your fiancée, We almost have our wedding vows.. but a car accident occur that kills your mother and father, said accident cause you to be in coma for 2 months that’s why you can’t remember me”.
“Where do I live? Do I have a home? I can’t remember”
“Your house is located in Nagasaki but was long sold for your medication”.
Then Anna’s father enter the room. “It’s good to see you ken, I’m Mr Lee your would be father in-law”, then Mr Lee examine Ken and apply acupuncture to ken, “It seems your recuperating fast, I think you must do some exercise to recover your previous strength”.
“Ok sir I’ll do that”
“Don’t call me sir, just call me dad it will do”.
Mr Lee called his boss that Ken (Josh real name) was now awaken. “Mr Lee take care of him and stick to the planned” then the phone off.
Ken slowly walked outside and inspect the structure where he saw a kendo dojo and a furnace where he saw Mr Lee’s sword in the making. Ken was delighted and asked Mr Lee to teach him the trade.
“Son I’ll teach you once you regain your full strength”.
“Sir…ehmm dad how can I regain my strength fast?”
“Just do household chores my dear and do some walk to fully gain 1st your inner strength, there’s no need to rushed, as you can see now it’s almost dinner time and as practice you always cook for me”, as Anna butt-in and command ken in a very demanding tone.
“Ok I’ll cook for you my ehemm… dear” as ken walk to the kitchen he remembers that he always do the cooking but he can’t remember his fiancée.
After 30minutes dinner was been serve by ken, while Mr Lee, Anna and Hitoshi their nephew eat to their hearts content.
1 week have passed, Mr Lee and daughter talk about ken, “Daughter it seems your husband passed my test”, as Mr Lee smiling.
“Dad don’t joke like that, his not my type, he’s just my slave, I just do my work in favor of your friend and I don’t have any feelings to him, he’s just a brother to me”.
Mr Lee approached Ken, “Son It seems your strength is back to normal now, starting tomorrow you will do my exercise menu and you will become strong”.
Lee’s residence is located deep in Mt Fuji, Japan. For two (2) weeks you can see Ken wake up 4am in the morning do the Army dozen physical conditioning before road run together with Hitoshi (nephew) and at night ken will do the basic kendo with Anna but Anna is very strict in teaching kendo that makes Ken crawl after practice.
Mr Lee was a War veteran and a descendant of a blacksmith, His sword and knife are in demand in the market, “Son can you help me now in making swords, I got too many order for the month and Hitoshi is away for delivery.
“Ok dad I will help just instruct me”
After two weeks of working in the furnace, Ken now knows how to make swords from smelting, forging, reshaping, polishing and even made his first sword, Mr Lee even taught Ken the Art of folding the iron 100x before reshaping, to make the samurai blade very sharp that even cut an iron, Mr Lee glad that he got apprentice in making the blades at least all of his orders finish on time. while Anna is thankful that he got Ken do the cooking and clean the house for him.
One month have passed and Kens is in perfect shape and even slowly regaining his memory… when he saw Mr Josh Miller picture in the TV the Legendary Emperor of Age of Immortal, said video causes him to dream that his Michael fighting in the VR game.
Breaking News, crime rate have decrease since the launching of Age of Aggression two months ago but the in-game crime such as player killing, mugging and even torture rise because of the 70-85% pain (if your infamy is high then the more pain you get/give), while there is no complain on rape because of 100% ecstasy so real (instead of pain but it drains the hp & stamina of the rapist once done that makes them vulnerable for revenge but rape is 10% success out of 100%), Gates Corp now again hiring testers/observers in every country for the better of the game.
Ken got an idea of who he was but did not confront the duo because even him is doubtful of his appearance on how his face become a Japanese with American height, although they all speak English in the house, he even doubt that Anna is his fiancée because the woman is just too good in badmouthing not only that…Anna within itself lives a monster because when it taught him kendo… she got a rule of no mercy policy, luckily kens body always anticipate the attack in terms of defense and body movements ....if not ken would land in the hospital.
One day, a unexpected guest came to visit him, its Nami, Ken run towards Nami, bombarding some questions, “Josh (ken) im sorry that we fix your face into a Japanese because many of your foe searching for you, your uncle entrusted you to us, we hide you here in order to survive the harsh world, Mr Lee requested me to explain to you the truth, your uncle Deo pay your board and lodging here, he is now the Mayor of Maine and told me to tell you that time will tell when it’s time to come back to your home, as of now I got a present to you…here”.
As Ken (Josh) saw the VR suit his eyes glow, “thank you Nami this will relieve my boredom”.
Nami go near Ken and do a friendly hug, while Anna stare him very jealous because he’s time of acting as a fiancée is over.
“Nami can you please help me withdraw money from my Swiss bank account”.
“What will you do for the money Josh?”. asked Nami
“I would like to purchase that parcel of land there where I do my road run and I want to construct an obstacle course there, you see that waterfalls there? I want to construct a rope course, slide for life and rappelling course”. explain Ken
“I think you would not need it anymore because your Uncle Deo give this 10 million U.S Dollars in that attaché case for your pocket money, while this 1 million U.S Dollars will be given to Mr Lee” says Nami.
“There’s no need for paying me mam, I found Ken very useful and reliable, We the Lee Family are happy willing to help him”. Said Mr Lee
“If you would not accept the money then make my family name as Lee your adopted son, while Anna will be my big sister”. Said Ken.
“Ok agreed son, I will immediately process the document of your adoption paper”
“By the way dad, take this 5 million U.S Dollars purchase that parcel of land there, where I do my road run and construct an obstacle course, rappelling course and slide for life there near that waterfalls”. explained Ken.
Then Nami say goodbye to Ken and hug him, “Ken we need you back in the game, now that Ark’s Guild is on the move to dominate the game, he’s currently the number 1 player in Age of Aggression level 70, Boss John Gates are waiting for your return I hope you will enjoy your life to the fullest now that you are reborn and good hunting”.
Nami left Lee’s residence, Ken approached Mr Lee and…“Dad can I try now my VR suits? I got a level to catch and a revenge to cook”
“Sure, just do what you have to do son, I am ashamed for what we have done to you but I was the one who informed Miss Nami to explain to you the truth”.
After Ken set-up his VR suits he then try it.
“Welcome to Age of Aggression, the scan of your iris has determined that you are an unregistered user. Do you want to create a new account?"
“Yes please” the unknown player answered. Name… Kage (means Wolf Shadow). Race and Gender…..Human male, “Please choose your starting location” as he sees the map it’s like a present world with countries/state name: but Age of Aggression is set in a Medieval period like Age of Immortal, Kage click its location name Japan. As you can see now, every player will automatically starts to their real world village to avoid overpopulation in a certain Cities/location.
“Legend speaks of a very powerful katana sword and a tanto in Japan, the katana slays tens of thousands of warriors that turns its blade to black that always quench for blood. While the tanto is use in the ceremony that its crystal clear blade can be a soul mirror.” As the narrator spoke when Kage 1st login.
Kage finds his self in a small village away from the City, away from pollution, a fresh breeze in the air that made his long hair float, He saw few players, then he open his inventory and find a bamboo stick and 10 pieces of bread, “status” he found out that there are 10 free starting stat points to be use, so he decided to put it all in luck:

Kage now click translation feature because he did not know how to speak Japanese, then he explores the village, he found many players level20-50 doing party system or buddy system, he then go out to the village to kill some rabbits using the bamboo stick, he grind for 30minutes and got 90% exp, while he collected the meat but suddenly he saw 3 level 10 women rushed to him, “Hi handsome care to have some fun” said Mystica in a slutty tone, while two of the girls (Yura and Rachelle) hold his hand while exposing their tongue licking their lips like hunger for an ice cream, an extreme rushed of nervousness reach the heart and brain of Kage to urge him to run back to the village.
“Leave me in peace I’m a conservative type” as Kage run.
“So your brave enough to defy us? Then feel our wrath” as the trio targeted Kage with a kunai.
Kage using the bamboo stick deflect the kunai and already inside the village, The trio are very angry, “what a sissy man” said Mystica, “Maybe his a virgin sis” said Yura then they laugh. “hihihi next time your good looks will fall for us”.
The trio is purely conservative in real life as real tradition in Japan but here in the game they will try to experiment something that they did not feel in the real world.
Kage drains his stamina while running and rest in the sidewalk inside the gate, he did not know that the village elder saw what happened.
“Young man you look new to this world, as an adventurer you display a good move but it doesn’t mean you can survive into this harsh world that is survival of the fittest….the strong will eat the weak, and because of that I got a job for you, I know you can’t refuse because those violent women are now waiting for you to go outside” said the Village Elder Wan.

“Sir where can I find Chef Jacky?” as ken spoke the man examine him.
“I’m Chef Jacky what do you want!” as Chef Jacky answered in a loud tone.
“Sorry sir to bother you but Elder Wan told me to deliver this to you”.
“It seems my brother is impressed to you out of mercy but we will find that out tomorrow if you have the courage and heart to be my disciple, come inside go to that room which will be your temporary quarters and near the table is the task that you will do, sleep early for tomorrow is a hard day and one more thing never go outside or open the door/window at night because of too many evil monster roaming”, as Jacky said.
5am the sunrises and Kage now begun his task cutting a big tree then chopping it for wood.
“Hurry move your ass old man, after that kill 5 chicken and 1 pig for too many people ordering food” said Jacky. He saw Kage move like a worm that’s why he said old man.
After lunch, Kage will deliver food in the temple up in the Mountain which where the monk live in seclusion, first the monks prohibits him only to the receiving hall then the monk will exchange his food and ingredients to any husbandry and livestock.
“Thank you uncle, I will go now” as Kage wave goodbye with 1 pig on his back descended in the mountain. That is the daily routine of Kage.
But before ascending and descending Kage will sneak due to the fact that the trio’s (three maniac girls) favorite resting area is near the stairs
At the end of the day (5 days in game) he come to check his status because he put it in a silent mode.

Kage now logout and found out that Anna is now doing the cooking, “dinner is ready bro”, then ken go to the table along with Mr Lee and Hitoshi.
“Dad will you teach me the art of the tanto or dagger fighting so that I can use the technique in Age of Aggression”, as Ken begged Mr Lee.
“You know son, if you want tanto or dagger fighting then Hitoshi will help you with our traditional way + his latest combination of street fighting”. said Mr Lee.
“Hitoshi bro, will you teach me the tanto/dagger fighting that cross-trained with your street fighting?”.
“Ok Ken, I’ll teach you right away after dinner, I hope it will help you in terms of self-defense” said Hitoshi.
After dinner, Hitoshi lecture Ken regarding the do’s and don’ts in using the tanto, from offense and semi defense then he teach the tanto kata that makes ken smile because he can now use the kitchen knife that he have in the game.
“Thank you bro Hitoshi, I owe you for this technique”. Said Ken while smiling.
“You’re welcome bro, I’ll teach straight for 1 week to let you master the art”. Said Hitoshi.
Ken login and do his daily routine before sunrise start cutting a big tree then chopping it for wood, then slaughters the animals and help cook it for the restaurant of Chef Jacky and after lunch he delivers food and ingredients to the temple up in the mountain.
It’s his 5th day delivering in the temple, To his surprised few of the monk were lying in the hall, they are waiting for a doctor, seeing some old monk very sick Kage heartaches like being pinched, he remember his Uncle Deo in real life, So without much ado he helps in caring the sick and even help in cooking food and use his one and only potion mixed in the food, he spoon feed the sick and put towel on their forehead to neutralize the heat of the fever, after 30minutes the monks slowly were healed and stand up as nothing happened.

For patiently and sincerely caring for the sick “You learned Survival Healing beginner level 1” can restore simple health like +5 hp per level per sec.
“Wow I’m very lucky that I have the skill even I’m not in the Cathedral”. as Kage staring at his two hands.
Then the Temple Master together with the doctor enters the hall and saw that sick are already healed, “who healed the sick?” asked the Priest.
“Sir Kage the adventurer healed us. as the Monk chorus.
“Young man, you impress me, I have encounter many adventurer but they are greedy and selfish, you’re the 1st adventurer that care for us, you even give your one and only potion and shared your own food even it will cause you to get hungry, because of that you impressed me, your one of a million, you’re a virtues man, for that give me your hand and I will give something that gold can’t buy, In the future, your stand for the light will make a difference”.

Kage observed the techniques, he consume almost his time watching the students fight every day, he found out that it’s like Kendo basics for the beginner level, while peeping in the advance level the difference is just the fast drawing of the sword and other techniques, so in 5 days’ time …

Kage win the 1st to 10th fight by just doing the fast draw technique, while 11th to 15th he defeated them by just sword dancing, in 16th to 20th he still wins but sweat begin to drop but the fight begun difficult from 21st to 25th that he experience difficulty in breathing, then he got an idea and he tried to heal himself and meditate that restore all his hp and stamina in just 3minutes. Which make him block A champion.

Before the semi-championship begins, Kage put all his gain stats to luck which is now 25.

Kage is hp and mp is fully restored but his rival panting but full of discipline and advance level endurance from 3-5 years of training.
Kage use now the bokken (Japanese name for a wooden sword) instead of bamboo stick that is now in tatters from block A battles.
“Now fight” from the signal of the referee Kage rival rushed to him, Kage then dodge every attack of the level 15 NPC just like moving in the water going with the flow, Kage then try to use the Kendo uppercut attack, while facing the enemy in the east he execute strikes from downwards to upwards 3x while moving forming an arc that hit his rival and rendered unconscious.

Again Kage put all his gain stats to luck which is now 40.
2nd Elder Master eyes widens and sighed in disbelief that his most promising high level student where defeated by a mere level 4 that makes him feel cheated because of that he commanded the remaining 2 block champion to double team and attack him, the 2 level 14 attack him without mercy using their high dexterity all hit inside Kage even though it was parried by Kage but the impact of the sword reinforce by pure strength makes him tremble and almost lost consciousness.
“it’s now or never”, Kage use the skill whirlwind that hit the duo and collapse, Kage too collapse due to drain in stamina.
After 3minutes of regeneration Kage stood-up.

Kage put all his gain stats to dexterity which is now 45. then, using heal he heals the trio, he heal them from dislocation of ligaments and bones, “Master as I observed many of my co students’ where injured and needs healing can I heal them?” said Kage.
“Feel free to do what you like as long as it can’t harm your fellow students”, said Hattori the Elder Monk.
Then Kage start using observed to level it then he used heal to eased the pain of the student, first the student was afraid of kage that he do harm but after the trio healed, the student’s rushed to him, “Me me next”, “No me first”, said the other student.
“Please formed a single line, as Kage spoke pointing a direction, then 100 student now start to formed a line, each one waiting for their turn, at the end of the day Ken healed the 100 student and also heal the 2 Elder’s that makes his healing skill level up to beginner level 2 85%. And Observation beginner level 3 90%.
“We are blessed that you are here Kage but can you tell me where did you learned the Art of Kendo?”
“Master I learn it from my master in our world, Master it seems that I passed, if you would not disagree can I learn the Battojutsu Advance-Mastery phase now?” as Kage begged his master.
“Kage you already learn the advance phase it is the attack you used just now but it needs precise lightning movement before you can proceed to mastery level you need to sharpen your movement speed and attacking power, the ones you defeated are strong in terms of level and power but couldn’t compare to you who have actual battle prowess but beware, without endurance your body are vulnerable to aftershock that leads to your defeat in further battle.”
“Master how can I overcome it and continue my mastery training?”.

Kage now descended from the mountain with 1 60kilos pig on his back and after 1hour of running he is back to his room in Jacky’s restaurant, inside the table is the food Jacky prepares then Kage rest and sleep.
Kage now logout from the VR and feels a pain in his chest and coughs some blood that almost made him unconscious. Anna saw what happened, she immediately call he’s father.
Mr Lee use pressure points technique and acupuncture to heal Ken, “Son what happened?”
“Sorry dad but 3 NPC attack me simultaneously who is 2x my level using basic battujutsu. Said ken.
“Don’t rushed up son, I will teach you to become strong physically but also you’re spirit, cause tonight I will teach you my advance and mastery kendo technique”. As Mr Lee spoken.
“Are you sure dad?” as ken smile like a dog even in pained.
“yea but 1st convince me, make 300 knives and 50 Samurai sword to cope up the order because as of now there are too many costumers. As Mr Lee wink to Ken.
As you can see the daily routine of Ken 5am wake-up alarm for road run then after going back he use the obstacle course erected just for use of ken, then he will eat breakfast then take a bath and start making knives and swords. At midnight he will hear the lecture on practical sword theory “the art of defense” by Mr Lee, then after 1 hour lecture do some practical exercise with Anna to develop precision.
“Dad tonight I will now use my long unused VR and venture in the world of adventure of Age of Aggression with Ken”, as Anna said to he’s father.
Ken login, “ohh it’s now 5am need to do my daily, he then cut the tree and chopping woods, then he help in cooking, skinning etc.
Kage while ascending to the mountain going to the temple, he encounter 3 level 15 wolf but were instantly killed by his skill Whirlwind but he collapse due stamina drain and the fact that his stamina stats is not upgraded (because whirlwind skills should have at least 50 stamina). Then a level 50 Legendary Wolf Boss drooling appeared near him ready to devour him, with a blazing eyes.
