What happens after? When the hero defeats the villian, kills the monster, rescues the princess, and saves the world?  Or at least his village.  Ok maybe just defeats the monster.  Meet Ned. He's a hero. Or at least he was. But the monster -- an old ice giant -- is dead. And Ned took his share of the treasure home. The wizard mentor went on to the big city. Mom and Dad are still busy with the mill and bakery and all his brothers and sisters.  Everyone has moved on.  But Ned doesn't know what to do now. Without a monster to fight, without a mentor to teach him, and no one needs saving, there's no place for Ned.  He's only 19. Not ready to retire.  Until he meets the MIDS.
