Sky beamed a radiant smile, his tone brimming with certainty as he made his choice, "I'll start with the path of cultivation."
"Oh?" Schiso 007 asked with keen interest, "Why cultivation? I thought you'd choose something more straightforward like magic or technology. The path of cultivation is no easy feat if you wish to go far."
"It's all good, I've got the organization and you backing me up. I want to see how my talent and comprehension fare in this field," Sky chuckled.
"Alright then." Schiso 007 didn't say much more. He tapped on the beginner's cultivation gift pack on the page. The patterns on the page transformed into countless light spots, floating towards Sky and slowly materializing into a spinning gift box. "Here comes the exciting part - the blind box opening. Just touch the gift box and see what your luck brings you."
"The items in this gift box are random?" Sky was a bit surprised.
"Yes, they are random. Generally, you'll get beginner-level cultivation techniques, pills, comprehension-enhancing accessories, or low-level cultivation treasures and weapons. Guaranteed at least one technique, the rest depends on luck. If you're lucky, you could get 3-5 items."
"Open the blind box, open the blind box!" Lumiya excitedly wagged her tail and shouted.
Rubbing his hands together, Sky said, "Alright, let's see what luck brings." As his right hand touched the gift box, it began to spin faster before exploding like a burst of light, disappearing in front of everyone. Suddenly, something appeared on the ground.
Sky looked down to find a blood-red crystal, about 15 centimeters long and 5 centimeters thick. He picked it up with a hint of disappointment, curious to examine it. The crystal was semi-transparent and seemed ordinary at first, but after staring at it for about 10 seconds, a vague figure emerged inside it.
The figure appeared to be a human female in ancient, elegant court attire, exuding a sense of majesty and kindness. Her lower body was that of a serpentine creature, mostly covered by the dress, with visible scales on the exposed part.
As Sky concentrated to see clearer, suddenly, information from the system appeared in his mind: "Divine item discovered, loading item information... Loading complete:

"Damn!" Schiso 007 exclaimed upon recognizing what Sky held.
Lilianna's eyes sparkled at the sight, whether from recognition or her player system's item information.
"Wow, a Legacy Crystal!" Lumiya shouted excitedly, her ears and tail standing erect.
Having read the item information, Sky realized the value of the crystal but lacked basic knowledge of cultivation concepts. He asked, "What's a Legacy Crystal?"
"I know, I know," Lumiya wagged her tail and answered, "This is high-class stuff in our cultivation world. Normally, low-grade cultivation techniques are passed down through text or verbally, like the first-grade Foundation Building, second-grade Aperture Opening, third-grade Qi Cultivation, and fourth-grade Innate phases.
But for higher grades, like the fifth-grade Detachment, sixth-grade Golden Core, and so forth, normal language fails to convey the necessary information. These techniques are either comprehended by the cultivator based on the written or spoken guidance, or by a senior or master who uses precious resources to duplicate their understanding into a Legacy Crystal for others to absorb slowly.
However, making a Legacy Crystal is time-consuming and costly, hence extremely precious. And they're consumables, shattering completely once their information is extracted by a cultivator. Think of them as the ultimate luxury in the cultivation world, akin to ordinary people savoring top-tier wine."
"And this one records a first-grade Foundation Building technique. This isn't just sipping top-tier wine; it's using it as mouthwash," Schiso 007 added. "A regular Foundation Building technique costs about 300 points on the exchange list, and the best ones cost about 1,000 divine points. But a Legacy Crystal... The cheapest I recall was one for the fourth-grade Innate phase, priced at 180,000."
"Damn," Sky cursed, realizing the enormity of his blind box prize. Initially, he thought getting only one item might be unlucky, but now he understood the true value of his find - a rare item worth at least 180,000 from a 500-point blind box.
Schiso 007 pondered, a rare frown on her face, "What kind of technique requires a Legacy Crystal for its transmission?"
Reminded by her words, Sky and Lilianna fell into thought.
Sky spoke up, "The technique in the crystal is called ' Cosmic Insight丨Primordial Blood'. Have you heard of it? Is there any information about it on the exchange list?"
Schiso 007 thought for a moment before responding, "The Eastern cultivation is not my forte; I don't recall any related memories."
Lumiya shook her head too, "I haven't heard of it either. When my master comes out of seclusion, I'll ask."
Lilinna queried, "Isn't it on the exchange list?"
Schiso shook her head, "I checked my consciousness; it's not there. You're not familiar with the divine exchange mechanism, hence the confusion. Why something from a blind box isn't on the list.
There are two systems in divine exchange. One is our 'Eye of the Void' godly system, the one you see in the list. The items there are fixed.
The other is the random divine exchange, akin to a lottery system. What comes out of that pool is completely unpredictable, even to us gods. Like Sky's so-called newbie gift pack, it belongs to this system."
"It sounds like a lottery," Lumiya remarked.
"You can think of it that way," agreed Schiso 007.
Lilianna added, "Seems we can only wait until Sky practices the technique to discover its wonders."
Lumiya, being more knowledgeable in this area, spoke, "Comprehending a Legacy Crystal is no simple task. It requires high comprehension to resonate with the imparted wisdom. Even then, it's someone else's experience and understanding of the technique. My master said comprehending over 80% is quite impressive.
To cultivate to the fourth or fifth grade is to be a true genius. Those who have journeyed from the first grade have a wealth of experience, yet they grasp only about 80% from the crystals. So, maybe Sky should start with some ordinary Foundation Building techniques, build up experience before attempting this crystal?"
Hearing Lumiya's professional advice, Sky looked at the "Use Item" option in the system, hesitating. Her suggestion seemed sound, but the temptation to click and open the door to the mysterious world of cultivation was overwhelming.
To click or not to click? Perhaps he should just try.
Finally, Sky couldn't resist. He clicked the "Use Item" button in the system.
The next second, the crystal in Sky's hand crackled and began to shatter, breaking into pieces in a matter of seconds. This luxurious item of the cultivation world was now just a pile of fragments.
As the crystal broke, Sky's eyes rolled back, and he collapsed to the ground.
"My God! Where's the autonomous medical robot? Get him into the medical pod!" The last thing Sky heard before losing consciousness was Schiso's shout.
