Hey there! Toshinori here. It’s been a while since I was able to appear in the notes. With the advent of the New Year, I wanted to take the time to thank you properly for your readership. It’s been a truly great experience to share Elwin’s journey with you so far, and I look forward to taking it even further with the upcoming arc introduced in chapter 91 and continuing in the next two dozen chapters or more: The hallowed First-Year Tournament that will decide Elwin’s destiny and quite possibly of the entire world at large.
Thank you for standing by me, and by Elwin most especially, through thick and thin. I am glad you could witness Elwin’s first steps towards transcending his past. I sincerely hope my writing was able to do justice in showing Elwin’s tribulations and triumphs, from the brutality of his loneliness to the ambrosia of earning his place at Aeternitas, all the while painting a living, breathing world full of color and detail.
Writing is an inherently challenging endeavor, but your kind words and support are giving me the strength to march on ever forward. Thank you for favoriting and rating the book on the Royalroad page – every bit counts.

While I am mainly authoring Aeternitas: The Shores of Destiny right now, I am concurrently creating some illustrated visual concepts for the World of Aeternitas and its characters. When I started working on the story in 2018, I always imagined how awesome it would be if the World of Aeternitas and the stories of its characters could be visualized into an animated TV series. Just think: a show that combines everything you love about Harry Potter + The Last Airbender + Demon Slayer + Attack on Titan + Fullmetal Alchemist, featuring a vibrant cast of characters engaging in epic battles against monstrous beings, navigating their way through a grand and mysterious world steeped in mythological lore! How cool would that be?
While such an on-screen visual adaptation is likely far, far into the future (until the series gets sufficient success and traction to attract the eyeballs of the giants), it’s nevertheless sweet to think about. For now, writing is my highest priority. But if I do conjure some concept art and visuals to my liking, I’ll be happy to share them with you; I am curious to assess whether there’s interest for it.
On that note, looking forward to your continued readership!
Onwards to the Tournament, filled with almost non-stop strategy and action, intertwined with even more character interactions and growth.
Sincerely,
Toshinori Heiichi
