Standing in front of the Cablecluster earlier referred to as "Aeria", I had my doubts about this entire chain of events but asked Ed regardless "So what exactly am I looking at here?" He chuckeled and gestured towards the cables "You are looking at the Artificial Intelligence Core ,or A.I for short, by her own choice named "Aeria". She is one of our Countrys biggest secrets, and the only reason we are all still safe to this day, living in relative Peace." Listening to his description of what appeared to be a sentient Computer gave me a start " So you are telling me this Thing is a living and thinking Computer?" Ed looked at me like I was retarded again, shook his head and grumbled something along the lines of "Damn Nerds.." after which he looked me straight in the Eye "I think you will have to see for yourself what exactly she is." He gestured me to follow him around the Core which surprisingly had a Door on its other side. "Lets get down to buisness, shall we?" He asked while opening it and motioning me to enter. I looked at him for a long moment, then decided oh what the hell and entered through the Door into a pitchblack room, when instantly the Door shut and locked behind me. I turned around and was about to shout and bang against it wishing to tell Ed to stop messing with me, when I heard a voice unlike any I had ever encountered in my entire life. "Greetings, Jake Miles, Son of Claudia Miles and Marcus Miles. Welcome to my Home." I was shellshocked and did not even dare to turn around. The Voice was clearly Female but more beautiful than anything I had ever thought possible to hear. "It would be polite to look at me while we are conversing" the Voice continued. It took me a few moments before I snapped out of my momentary stupor and slowly turned to take my first actual look at "Aeria". She was a holographic projection, freely floating in the middle of the otherwise pitch black room we were in. Long flowing blonde hair, a face as pretty as the rising Sun and a Body shaped like Sin itself. For the what felt like 100th time that day, I stopped dead in my tracks, this time eyes wide open and mouth almost falling to the floor in shock. I had excpected to see anything from a floating blue ball of light to a white crystal held in place by a dragons talons or the Terminator himself. Something or anything really, but a Woman looking like this? Never even crossed my mind. The apparent shock written all over my face gave "Aeria" the incentive to smile at me "It appears you are adjusting to my appearance and your circumstances surprisingly well Jake, even for someone like you that is remarkable." Trying to gather my bearings and easeing my face back to its normal passive look, I had the opportunity to finally engage in thinking activity again " What do you mean someone like me? And what circumstances?" I asked trying to get some more information about what the hell was going on here. The smile never left her face as she started answering me "Well, someone that scored just the right amount of points on the entrance test ofcourse. You do consider yourself a perfectly normal and healthy young man correct? That is not entirely the case however." She winked at me, which sent a shudder down my spine, then continued "Your psyche is outside the categorical "Norm" for your species, which reflects in certain personality traits you posses, in the correct pattern." The smile on her face grew even wider, which at this point should have sent me running for the hills but I was far too curious and entangled in her narration " You are highly adaptable, a very quick thinker with good memory, no real ties to any other living human beeing, cold and calculating with the maximum efficency as your target in all things." Hearing her dissect my apparent personality test results like this was not pleasant to say the least, but I was in no place to deny her claims, so I just let her carry on "The aforementioned Circumstances are as follows, you were chosen for the Special Program, you can number it with 7 if that helps you in any way, designed and engineered by myself and I.H Technology." Still somewhat enthralled by her I paid close attention nonetheless, and I was very very sure I had not signed up for any sort of special Programs. "You are kidding me right?" was all I could muster in response to her explanation, there was no way an average "run of the mill" guy like me would ever be chosen for anything, not even the Highschool Football team for God's Sake. "No I am absolutly certain and am in no way makeing fun of you." she deadpanned me while still smileing , looking like the Goddess of Sin, sent to earth just to mess with my head. "Then what is this Program 7 I keep hearing about? And just because I may not fit the perfect "normal", that does not mean I signed a contract, for any of this!" The curiosity still outweighed my sense of danger at the time and I was far too fascinated with "Aeria", the A.I, whose response to my question consisted of her, for the first time ever , loosing the seductive smile.
