I nodded.“How though?” I whispered as we hid in the shadows.
“I think I will go do it.”
“What?” I asked.
“I don't want you to get so close to dying again,” Marylyn said.
“The worst thing we can do right now is split up.” I told Marylyn, “I am not letting you go alone.”
“You think I am too weak?” Marylyn asked, glaring at me.

“Can we not fight again?” I asked. She was getting so rigid in this situation, sensitive.
“Why?!” She was screaming now, “You are the one who started it!”
“Calm down,” I said, panicking that Death might hear us.
“Don’t tell me what to do.”
“Fine! I was trying to be nice, but go get yourself killed then!” I screamed as I walked away. I felt the evil flood through me as the icy words hit me. I didn’t want her to die, I was just frustrated. I couldn’t take it back now though.
“AHHHHHH!”
I cried in the darkness. I had never felt so much pain in such a short amount of time. The cold had numbed my body and chilled my bones till I was paralyzed. 1 hour left, alone, with Marylyn dead. I jumped as I heard footsteps.
