The Tulmana Continent lies far west off the coast of the Dewfell Continent. Its geography consists of a variety of different climates as you travel along its carrot-like shape. The frigid mountains of the north give way to temperate hills and vast plains, before ending in an arid southern desert.
Its people remain mostly isolated, likely as a result of the sheer distance from the mainland. Unconcerned with the dealings of the outside world, its inhabitants mostly keep to themselves, preferring to focus on their own inner conflicts. Within Tulmana, there are three prominent provinces, each with their own unique culture and societies.
To the north, the Kingdom of Venuvia is distinguished by its extreme isolation from the rest of the continent. Surrounded by the Henda mountain range and disguised within the Venuvian Forest, not much is known about its inhabitants.
Spanning the majority of the continent is the Eri Empire. Lying in the continent's temperate zone, its bustling economy and large population make it the most powerful of the three. Known for its vast fields, winding rivers, and sprawling cities, it is one of the most beautiful areas of the continent.
To the south lies the Raavas desert, although its inhabitants do not have a proper government, the desert’s population is nothing to scoff at. Various tribes call the desert their home, resulting in a population of around a quarter of the Eri Empire.
Although humans are the dominant race of Tulmana, other races are do live here, even if far and few between. Even beasts are not an uncommon sight, albeit an unwelcome one. Beasts are the biggest danger in Tulmana. Though nothing compared to those of the mainland, for the people of Tulmana, they might as well be the dragons of the north. To the east of the continent, just off its coast, lies Rosa Island, the breeding ground of all Tulmanan beasts. Occasionally the brave, or the stupid, adventure out to Rosa Island in pursuit of riches. Though it seems none have returned all that successful, although few have returned in the first place.

* A Biography of the Dewfell Sage, Chapter 6
Setting down the dusty tome, Clair let out a heavy sigh. She had read the book as a child, fascinated by its stories of far-off lands and fantastical battles, but now, after reading it so many times, she couldn’t stand to see another word. She knew that it was important for her to learn about this new land, her soon-to-be home, but she just couldn’t put her heart into it. Sliding down into a sitting position, sweeping her tail to the side, she closed her eyes, focusing on the sensation of the boat swaying on the gentle ocean waves. At first, it had seemed soothing, like being on a rocking chair or a hammock. Now it just made her sick.
She had been stuck in this small cargo bay for almost 3 weeks now, accompanied only by A Biography of the Dewfell Sage, a gift from her mother when she was a young girl. She knew what she was getting into when she snuck onto the trading vessel. But now she was starting to regret it. How much longer would it be until she would arrive? A Week? A Month? She didn’t think she could last much longer.
She stood up abruptly.
“Aaaaugh! What am I even thinking!? Of course, this is gonna be worth it! New life! New Life! New Life!” She chanted into the emptiness of the cargo bay, resolve hardening in her eyes, her tail swinging vigorously behind her.
Unbeknownst to her, far above the deck of the ship, in the crow's nest, a man squinted into a spyglass. A smile cracked on his face and his booming voice reverberated across the ship so that all could hear.
“Land Ho!”
