Synopsis
Traveling through different worlds (planes) is fun--- right?
This Lord will answer yes if you equate "fun" to:
* Fighting in 3 different wars within 1 lifetime.
* Finally finding family after countless sufferings only to outgrow and eventually outlive them.
* Being a dead spirit and yet still experiencing the sensation of starvation for more than a few years.
* Finding an old soul similar enough to yourself to be able to relate and empathize with each other only to be dragged into a global, political, and social revolutionary upheaval because of their loyalty to their cause.
* And all the other "fun" activities too long to summarize within this list.
So, in conclusion, living as a "Child of Samsara" is quite a "challenging" task. And thriving as one? Even harder.
But in this story I shall make an attempt at this challenging task, how about you grade me on it?
Note: This will be a non-linear story, with chapters and arcs sometimes jumping around within an established timeline. Some arcs will be purely original, some will have settings and characters based on other works thus making them fanfic-adjacent if not fanfiction outright, but all will be inspired from other sources though never 100% copying any of these ideas.
All of these "cycles" that the protagonist goes through are connected, both by the protagonist themselves and the background information/powers/systems allowing them to exist. Because of the nature of this story, tags and warnings will be added as arcs are added.
Warnings: Protagonist is LGBTQIA+. Specifically, the G, T, and A (asexual not ally, don't mistake) letters of that acronym. Not only that but I try to make it, if not explicit than, pretty implicitly clear that the MC (main character) has a few soul-bound mental issues that won't ever "go-away" within their heads.
And, though the story never "focuses" on it, there is queer romance here that will be written. And, no, I'm not doing it "for diversity". I started writing this before I was even out of middle school because I was figuring myself out and this was a way my mind liked to explore different versions of myself with.
I love these worlds and these characters, don't think just because I've labeled them that I want to box them in; I'm just a creature that prefers organization ^v^
