Alastrine pulled up his status page in the world system and examined his current stats. His strength was now at 12, agility at 10, intelligence at 15, wisdom at 8, charisma at 6, and endurance at 10. He also saw that his race was currently set to human and that his class was blank, indicating that he had not yet chosen a class.

He was excited to see that he had enough experience to select his first basic class since he had reached level 2. Alastrine had always dreamed of becoming a grand magic user and was determined to choose a magic-based class. He scrolled through the options and finally decided on the "Apprentice Mage" class.

As he confirmed his selection, he felt a surge of energy flow through him. He could feel the magic within him growing stronger, and he knew that he was one step closer to achieving his goal. He knew that the Apprentice Mage class was a very basic one and that he wouldn't reach a class evolution until he reached level 10. However, he was determined to make the most of what he had and become the best magic user he could be.

Alastrine also checked his current health and mana pool. His health was at 50 out of 50, and his mana pool was at 30 out of 30. He knew that he needed to manage his mana carefully, as magic users relied heavily on their mana pool to cast spells.

With his new class and increased strength, Alastrine was more confident than ever in his quest to find the System Command Book. He was ready to face any challenge that came his way and become a powerful magic user.

Alastrine was determined to master his first basic combat spell. He spent hours practicing and training with his companions, trying to harness the magic within him. Despite his best efforts, he failed to cast the spell every time he tried. Frustrated, he knew that he had to keep practicing and improving if he was going to become a great mage.

One day, while traveling on the road, the group was ambushed by a group of bandits. They were outnumbered and outmatched, but Alastrine refused to give up. He knew that this was his chance to prove himself and to test out his newly acquired magical abilities.

The bandits charged towards them, swords drawn, and Alastrine began to chant under his breath. He focused his energy and channeled it into his palms, and a small flame ignited in front of him. He felt the heat of the flames, and the bandits looked on in shock.

With a wave of his hand, Alastrine sent the flames shooting towards the bandits. The flames engulfed one of the bandits, and he fell to the ground screaming. The others looked on in horror as Alastrine cast his spell again, this time targeting another bandit. The spell hit his target, and the bandit fell to the ground, writhing in pain.

As the battle raged on, Alastrine continued to cast his spells, using his newfound magical abilities to help his companions fight off the bandits. His fire spells lit up the night sky, and his companions looked on in amazement as he fought with newfound confidence and skill.

In the end, the group emerged victorious, and Alastrine's companions looked at him with newfound respect. They knew that he had proven himself in battle, and they were eager to see what other magic he was capable of.

Alastrine felt a sense of pride and accomplishment wash over him. He had cast his first combat spell in the heat of battle, and it had saved their lives. He knew that he had a long way to go before he became a grand magic user, but he was determined to keep practicing and to hone his skills.

As they continued on their journey towards Zephyr, Alastrine spent some time chatting with each of his companions. He wanted to get to know them better and to build a stronger bond between them. He started giving them playful nicknames based on their personalities.

To the elf, who was tall and graceful, he called her "Tallwood." To the demon, who had a fierce and intimidating presence, he called him "Inferno." And to the halfling, who was small and quick, he called him "Swiftfoot."

As they chatted and joked around, they suddenly heard a loud roar coming from above. They all looked up and saw a massive black-scaled dragon flying high above them. The dragon let out another deafening roar that shook the trees around them.

Alastrine's companions looked on in awe and fear, but Alastrine remained calm. He knew that they were not strong enough to take on a dragon of that size and power, and so he urged his companions to keep moving towards Zephyr.

Despite their fear, the group continued on, their eyes constantly scanning the sky for any signs of the dragon. They knew that they had to be careful, as the dragon could easily spot them from above and swoop down to attack.

As they walked, Alastrine couldn't help but feel a sense of excitement and adventure. He knew that they were on the right path, and that they were getting closer and closer to finding the artifact that would give them power over the world system.

And so they continued on, their hearts filled with determination and their minds focused on the challenges ahead. They didn't know what other obstacles they would face on their journey, but they knew that they had each other and that they would do whatever it takes to achieve their goal.

Having encountered the mighty black scaled dragon alastrine and his friends now had a better grasp on what true power in this world looked like, they all agreed to avoid such a creature at all costs or they may lose their lives, after traveling for days the group spots a village in the distance and decide they should go to check the local quest board for the chance at money but more importantly more power to be gained from leveling up when they get in town.

Alastrine and his companions entered the small village, looking around at the humble houses and busy villagers going about their day. They made their way to the quest board, where various posters were pinned up with requests for aid.

The halfling, who went by the name of fletch, was the first to approach the board. She scanned the posters with a keen eye, looking for anything that might catch their interest. The elf, named Kael, peered over her shoulder with interest while the demon, who went by the name of thorne, stood back, arms crossed over his chest.

Alastrine walked up beside them, studying the posters as well. They ranged from simple tasks, such as retrieving lost items, to more dangerous quests that required skilled fighters. Alastrine knew that the greater the risk, the greater the reward, but he also didn't want to risk his and his friends' lives unnecessarily.

Eventually, fletch pointed to a poster with a request for a group of adventurers to explore a nearby dungeon that had recently appeared in the forest. The reward was generous, but the risk was high.

Alastrine and the others discussed the proposal, weighing the risks and rewards. They ultimately decided that the chance to gain more power and treasure was worth the danger, and set out towards the dungeon, ready for whatever lay ahead.

Alastrine and his companions approached the entrance to the dungeon, the forest around them eerily quiet. They stepped inside, their eyes adjusting to the dim light. The air was damp and musty, and the ground was covered in a layer of moss.

As they progressed deeper into the dungeon, they encountered strange creatures made entirely of plants. Vines wrapped around their limbs, leaves sprouted from their bodies, and bark covered their skin. Alastrine and his friends quickly realized that these creatures were not to be underestimated. They attacked with sharp thorns and tendrils, and were surprisingly agile for creatures made of plant matter.

Fletch, the halfling, used her small stature to her advantage, dodging and weaving through the plants with ease. Thorne, the demon, used his brute strength to smash through the creatures' defenses. Kael, the elf, used her agility and archery skills to pick off the creatures from a distance.

Alastrine, meanwhile, focused on using his newly acquired magic spells to defeat the plant-based beasts. He conjured up flames to burn the vines and leaves, and used frost spells to freeze the creatures in place.

The battle was fierce and lasted for hours, but eventually Alastrine and his companions emerged victorious. They were battered and bruised, but the feeling of victory and the experience points they gained from the battle made it all worth it. Alastrine himself leveling twice now being at level 8.

As Alastrine reaches level 8, he pulls up his status page in the world system to distribute his new stat points. He spends some time contemplating which stats he should prioritize, knowing that his decisions will impact his future battles and overall growth in power.
