or maybe even a disembodied voice telling me that I died but nope, nothing the sort only a floating screen with the words

1) Human: a mundane beginning,

choosing this will give you back your original body and any items that were on you and with the Skill: Hero- The hero skill will make it so that the enemies will give more loot than normal and luck from the normal 10 to 50, but be careful as people with evil intention will try and use you for their own need.

2) Spirit animal: “Strength from Small Places”

the system will choose a creature that matches the user, from small but plentiful Ants, to Powerful Dragon, choosing this will gift the user a special organ from the beginning, tread carefully as you grow more powerful enemies will try and use you to empower themselves, dead or alive.

3)Beast kin: For the Pack.

This option will transform the user into a Beast kin, many from this species grow to be powerful Warriors, from the heavyweight Elephant Paladins to agile and silent feline Rogue these folks are never to be taken lightly, choosing this will gift the user Beast gods Favorite. Be careful as people may be jealous of how their God has given you the blessing.

 4) Dragon Folk: Blood of the ancient flows through our veins.

Dragon Folk is a race of humanoid dragon people that is thought to have been the children of Dragon and a Human, legend tells that the very first child was granted the power of a dragon, and the ability to transform into it when the time is right: Skill-Blood of dragons-increases regeneration and a hidden power flows through you.

You will try and barter with the System and it will decide if it grants you your wish

so... this is interesting, Spirit animal is cool but it has the chance of me becoming either a monster that will be killed on sight or a farm animal, nope

Being a human was cool but being a human again? Nah I wish for a different perspective, also being burdened with the responsibility is not my taste

beast kin is not that great, not going to touch it

dragonkin is cool as I will be able to have the possibility of becoming a dragon after I unlock that skill

but I want something else, I want to be an inhuman thing without the needs of weak bio-organic creatures
