In legends, their origins long forgotten, it is said there was once only one plane. the Endless Plane. For it truly was endless. Spanning trillions upon trillions of quintillions of li*, on it lived every organism imaginable. Dragons, phoenixes, elves, fae, demons, humans and so many others. Though they may not always peacefully coexist, all, though grugedly, lived and co-existed. Though they all agreed on one subject. The Emperor; who ruled over all, was just. And most importantly, powerful. He was the only one who was fit to rule the Endless Plane.

Then came the Calamity. The Emperor was betrayed. By his dearest, and his most decorated general.

He is now credited as the destroyer of the Endless Plane, as following the death of the Emperor, the ruling race, the humans, fell from their high and mighty throne. They were stripped of their inherent powers. Now all order gone, only chaos followed. the Endless Plane fell into the clutches of war.

Blood was spilt. It flowed in rivers, forming entire oceans. It was this war that split the Endless Plane into three. Into the Divine, the Middle and the Infernal Plane.

In the Infernal Plane reside the Demons, Nether Fiends, Fiendgods and Fallen Angels. Together they form the Flame Alliance, whose end goal is to rule all three planes.

The Divine Plane is the smallest, yet most powerful Plane. It is where Dragons, Elves, Angels and Gods reside. Together, these races form the Jade Alliance, where the current Jade Emperor resides, who is , however, exponentially weaker than the previous Emperor. The Jade Alliance rules over the Middle plane as well. It is currently still locked in a war with the Infernal Plane and its Alliance.

Lastly the largest, yet the weakest. The Middle Plane. it is aptly named, for it is neither too evil, nor too saintly. Covering the majority of what used to be the Endless Plane. Here lie many dangers, and also great rewards. And what came to be of the humans? They are regarded as the lowest of the lowest race. the scum of the Planes. But in respect of what they used to be, the Divine Plane gifted them the Middle Plane. But also in fear of their limitless potential, the current Jade Emperor, along with the Elven Queen and the Dragon King joined forces to strip them of all their inherent Qi. Now they must borrow all energy from the heavens and the River of Energy, which runs eternal.
