Aculus is the heir to a warrior-barony who was killed untimely by greedy nobles. His body however, hasn't gone to waste and was revived with the melancholic spirit who is given no direction by god. Given a choice of three familiars from God, he chooses the Ufalius, the most talktative undead in the world. Together, the two wander around the world, completing quests while Aculus tries to restore his meaning for life.
