Chapter 1

Long ago, there existed a town called "Redford". The town possessed an appealing natural beauty, resembling a picturesque scene. The town's houses were constructed with great creativity. Every aspect, from the houses to the trees, sidewalks, and even the streets, were always embellished with a blanket of snow, a common sight in this town. The snowfall was a regular occurrence in Redford, but it added an incredible charm to the town. In essence, the beauty of this town was ineffable. Numerous magicians played a significant role in creating this enchanting atmosphere. Over the years, many sorcerers and sorceresses were born in this town, earning Redford the title of the birthplace of sorcery. However, during the realm of Emperor Alfrad The Second, a rumor began to circulate that some individuals had perished while practicing sorcery. This rumor quickly spread like wildfire, causing panic among the people. Consequently, sorcery was permanently prohibited in Redford by the Emperor's decree. Many years passed after that, and the people gradually forgot about the existence of sorcery.

Whatever, in that town, there resided an elderly gentleman who lived with his sole adored offspring, Jen Skylar De Lawrence. Skylar possessed a captivating appearance, adorned with lengthy blonde hair and a pair of deep blue eyes. At a tender age, Skylar's mother succumbed to a fatal ailment. However, her final desire was for her daughter to one day become an esteemed enchantress and restore the practice of sorcery in Redford. In accordance with her mother's parting wish, Skylar resolved to embark on the path of sorcery.

Lamentably, Skylar lacked companionship, thus she devoted the majority of her time to immersing herself in fairy tales and the annals of sorcery within the confines of her chamber. Additionally, the monotony of being confined to her room and engrossed in books proved wearisome. Moreover, it evoked a sense of solitude, and at times, Skylar yearned for her mother's presence, particularly when she witnessed other children reveling in the company of their mothers. Each instance served as a poignant reminder, inflicting immense heartache upon her. Undeniably, Skylar was leading a truly wretched existence.

One night, as Skylar slumbered, she found herself immersed in a dream of her mother. Within this dream, Skylar beheld her mother's radiant smile, capable of shaking the very earth. Abruptly, Skylar awoke, her voice echoing through the room as she cried out, "Mooom!" However, it was merely a figment of her imagination. Skylar felt a wave of sadness wash over her, longing for her mother's presence. Yet, as she glanced upwards, a surprising sight awaited her. She had somehow been transported to a realm beyond the ordinary, a paranormal world where everything possessed its own peculiar characteristics. Enchanting trees, adorned with a kaleidoscope of leaves, stood tall in this realm. The trees were being illuminated by vibrant, dazzling lights. Flower gateways dotted the landscape, inviting exploration. Tiny pixies flitted about, communicating through weird sounds that Skylar couldn't comprehend. They were engaged in the activity of watering the trees. The air was filled with the mesmerizing sound of stunningly beautiful fountains, their crystal-clear waters cascading gracefully. Surrounding the fountains were an abundance of glistening stones, resembling rubies. The surroundings were a vibrant shade of green, adorned with an array of anonymous flowers. Every aspect of this place was undeniably breathtaking. Skylar found herself captivated by its beauty, unable to tear her gaze away.

Suddenly, her attention was captured by a magnificent red bird. Attempting to capture it, she realized it was flying too high. So, she decided to pursue it. As the bird approached a palace, it unexpectedly metamorphosed into a young man who exuded an air of royalty.

Skylar hesitantly inquired,

"W-who you are?"

"Skylar, welcome to my territory. I'm Lucio, the sovereign of this enchanting kingdom and I'm here to assist you," Lucio replied with a warm smile.

"What on earth are you talking about?"

"You aspire to become a remarkable sorceress, don't you?"

"Y-yes. But, how did you come to know that?"

Lucio then responded, "Ohhh, my apologies. I neglected to inform you that I'm also a skilled sorcerer . Hence, I'm aware."

During their conversation, a breathtakingly beautiful pegasus popped out of the sky.

"Skylar, let me introduce you to my majestic pegasus, Scord."

"Scord, show her all the corners of the kingdom."

Then Lucio vanished and Skylar mounted the pegasus. Scord took flight. It was Skylar's ever first experience soaring through the sky. Everything appeared minuscule. Skylar spotted a castle amidst the clouds.

"What's that, Scord?" Skylar asked, pointing at the castle in astonishment.

"That's an imagery castle. It appears as a castle, but if anyone approaches it, it vanishes instantly. Hence, no one has ever been able to enter." Scord explained.

"The castle's view is comely, but it's so mysterious though."

Scord accompanied Skylar on a journey to various destinations. In the enchanting region of fairies, Skylar was captivated by the sight of astonishing fairies, their charming chromatic mushroom houses, and the sparkling diamond-shaped fruits, seashell-shaped flowers, flying mushroom lamps. Later, in the area of dragons, Skylar encountered a multitude of dragon species, including the majestic Earth dragon, the awe-inspiring Thunder dragon, the fierce Fire dragon, and the graceful Water dragon, among others.

Soon, night fell and the kingdom took on an even more enchanting appearance. After their long journey, they finally arrived back at the castle. Skylar's eyes widened as she beheld the grandeur of the enormous castle, adorned with countless sparkling crystal chandeliers. Eager to explore, she opened the front door and was greeted by a familiar voice.

"Good evening," the voice said.

Startled, Skylar turned to see Lucio standing there.

"Oh, Lucio, it's you. You scared me," she exclaimed.

Apologizing for the surprise, Lucio asked, "How was your trip?"

Skylar beamed with excitement. "It was amazing! I have to admit, your kingdom is even more breathtaking than the fairy tales I've read.

"Upon hearing her words, Lucio's smile grew wider.

"Shall I escort you to your sorcery class?" he offered.

Skylar's face lit up, "Absolutely! I'd love to."
