On the very next day, the pair included Outsider, Aurelia. Wood and Celli started the progress of walking up the river stream to reach the City of Light. Celli and Aurelia. Wood felt very suspicious of the Outsider of what happened last night, as to them, they only can hear nonsense cries and talking.

"Is it just me or the Outsider seems to have ghost friend he likes talking to." :(Aurelia. Wood said with suspicious glare staring right at the Outsider's eyes)

"It's not just you, Aurelia, I was thinking about the same thing. What I heard last night was he was begging for something or someone, I think he is possessed by an unknown entity" :(Celli replied looking at Aurelia. Wood and then glancing back at the Outsider)

"We must keep a good eye on him, what else could it be." :(Aurelia. Wood added)

"I agree with Aurelia. We must be careful and not let our guard down." :(Celli replied and nodded)

"He seems not talkative today, has something stolen his voice?" :(Aurelia. Wood whispered in Celli's left ear)"I am fine, I don't feel like talking for some reason. Maybe it's the fresh air. Let's get going." :(Aiden. Ashwell replied and started walking ahead of the group)

"According to this map, we are just few days away from the City of Light. So far, the journey is much easier than I anticipated." :(Aurelia. Wood replied, looking at the map she pulled out of her ranger pocket)

"This journey is too peaceful we have not seen monsters in the past few days, it's getting boring, and I would rather fight something rather than nothing." :(Celli asked back)

"Don't be so greedy Celli, we might end up fighting a giant monster or something worse than that. So, let's not complain and just enjoy the peace." :(Aiden. Ashwell suggested, he then looked at his hands and then sighed)

"Are you feeling well, Outsider." :(Celli asked, worried and concern about her partner)

"Yes, I am fine, Celli." :(Aiden. Ashwell replied, he then took a deep breath)

"Very sure, isn't that just convincing argument, I will have my eyes on you for now on." :(Celli replied as she stared with her eyes)

"Don't worry, Celli, I will be fine." :(Aiden. Ashwell added and walked ahead)

"Well, if the Outsider said he is okay, we shall go." :(Aurelia. Wood followed)

The Outsider and his two companions ran up the river stream which seems to be endless, thirst was no problem as they drank from the river, but their hunger was a big problem. They have been eating a few pieces of dried meat that Aurelia brought along, after few hours had passed with no end in sight when they about to give up they saw city on the horizon. Without thought the Outsider jumped with glee and ran towards it in distance caught Aurelia. Wood and Celli off guard, which in return ran after him. After several minutes of running, the group arrived in the city by the front gates. The city was bustling with activity, with people selling goods and trading information almost like paradise, but was strange about it is the people of the city are bunch of lizards. 'NO, not humanoid lizards, it's actual lizards.'

"Finally, a city with life in it, and it seems the people are lizards, I don't know why or how, but it's amazing, and I will have so many questions to ask them" :(Aiden. Ashwell muttered excitedly as he jumped like a little kid)

"You seem happy, I have never seen you so happy before, and you have not been talking much since you woke up from your slumber, so what changed?" :(Celli asked, looking at Aiden with curious eyes)

"What changed is me, I think I am finally overcoming my shyness." :(Aiden. Ashwell added)

"Welcome travellers to City of Hartlepool we have rarely seen people like you travel here, so it's a great surprise to see you all here. Now, are you bunch here to trade and sell goods or here for other reasons?" :(A Lizard man dressed in armour, carrying a shield and sword, asked)

"We are here to travel to the City of Light; our map says we have to walk up it. It is a beautiful river." :(Aiden. Ashwell replied, and then he turned towards the river)

"Yes, it is indeed a beautiful river, it once said that the Great Unifier banished the great evil goddess which her tears formed the mighty only river of Chonituary, and that the tears are pure and crystal clear." :(The Lizardmen Guard answered back)

"The river is pure, like the Great Unifier's own heart; she banished evil for her love." :(The Lizard man Guard nodded, and added)

"Really? The river is made out of tears? I thought the river was just water." :(Celli wondered and looked at the river)

"What do you mean?" :(Aiden asked, looking confused)

"The Great Unifier banished the evil goddess and her warlords along with their tyranny, the Great Unifier sees us all equal before the law, ever since we flourished into a thriving city." :(The Lizard man guard added)

"So, what is it travellers what are you looking for in City of Hartlepool, we have best desert cuisine, exotic wares, and beautiful women." :(The Lizard man guard asked)

"Well, we were about to continue our journey to the city of light, we are exhausted just to find the river and walk up it." :(Celli asked, with tired smile, she turned around to see her travel companions were exhausted and were drinking water)

"Well, you are not the first nor the last, who want to visit the City of Light, it is a beautiful sight. You will need a good ship, but you are in luck as someone around here can get you a ride." :(The Lizard man guard pointed)

"Who might that be?" :(Aurelia. Wood asked, looking curious, and was wiping the sweat from her forehead)

"There is a local merchant who has a ship, he has been trading goods from here to the City of Light." :(The Lizard man guard suggested and pointing towards a direction)

"Very thanks, we are grateful." :(Celli replied, she took the Outsider's arm and pulled him in the direction the Lizardman guard pointed)

"You are welcome, traveller, have a safe trip and visit the city of Hartlepool again." :(The Lizard man guard wished and then continued standing guard)

*The three pair started to look around for the local merchant which a Lizard Man Guard pointed out, after countless minutes of searching they had no luck. They realize they did not bring any Stellar Coins with them, which was the currency of Chonituary. Which out of nowhere the Outsider had a bright idea.*

|There should be an adventure's guild in this city, that should give us the money we required to hire the merchant.| :(Aiden. Ashwell talked into his mind, which he brainstormed an idea.)

"It's shame we did not bring any stellar coins with us." :(Celli sighed and looked disappointed)

"Why don't we check out the adventure's guild in this city, I'm sure it's nearby." :(Aiden. Ashwell replied, his face had a smile and he was eager)

"How would we know if there is a guild, and what is an adventure's guild?" :(Celli asked, puzzled)

"In every town and city there is an adventure's guild, my hometown used to have one before it was abandoned." :(Aurelia. Wood replied with her head tilted)

"An Adventure's Guild is an organisation dedicated to helping adventurers, and they also have missions that can give us rewards." :(Aiden. Ashwell explained, then smiled)

"Let's go and search for the Guild." :(Celli suggested)

"Wait, why not go and search for the merchant, we will have no money to pay him." :(Aurelia. Wood asked)

"No, we have to go and get the money." :(Celli objected and disagreed)

"But..." :(Aurelia. Wood replied in a low voice and tried to argue)

"No, Aurelia, I insist, we need the money and then we can hire the merchant. It's better if we go now rather than wait." :(Celli interrupted and put her foot down)

As Aurelia. Wood and Celli bickered down the topic the Outsider decided go ahead of them and look for the adventure's guild. He felt that he could not stand the bickering and decided to go on his own. Celli, who was aware that the Outsider had gone ahead of them, move through the air to catch up to him.

"Outsider, where are you going?" :(Celli called out, and flew behind the Outsider)

"The Adventure's Guild, I will meet you there, don't worry." :(Aiden. Ashwell replied and waved)

"Are you sure? What if something happens?" :(Celli asked and floated)

"Nothing will happen, trust me." :(The Outsider smiled)

"Hey young boy there are you looking for the adventure guild. You seem lost and alone." :(An unknown voice spoke)

*The Outsider turned to around to see a nice lady that is well dressed in yellow and gold clothing's, she was standing behind a both which reads. The Blessed Light of Purity Adventure's guild, without a thought The Outsider rushed towards the person who was behind the both.*

"Bold one you are, I am Daniella of the Riley family and current one out of many receptionists of the Blessed Light of Purity Adventure's Guild. May I ask your name, young adventurer." :(The Woman with Blonde hair and goldish clothes asked)

"I only go by the name the Outsider, I was looking for building for an Adventure's guild." :(Aiden. Ashwell replied, nervously)

"Well, the Outsider you are looking for the right place, I am the receptionist of the Blessed Light of Purity Adventure's Guild, we offer services and mission for adventurers and other travellers. Follow me where the building is located." :(Daniella. Riley, the lady replied, and then pointed in the direction of a large building)

"Thank you, ma'am." :(Aiden. Ashwell responded, and walked beside Daniella, the receptionist)

The Outsider and Celli followed the receptionist towards a building which reads the Blessed Light of Purity Adventure's Guild, they were shortly joined by no other the Wood Ranger Aurelia. Wood. As they entered through building it was quite a bit too quiet like there was no one there.

"We may not be the most powerful of other Adventure's Guild but our trust and worthiness is second to none. We offer a wide variety of services to suit any adventurers and travellers alike." :(Daniella. Riley introduced, and gestured her arms)

"This place looks dead, not even a soul is here." :(Celli observed)

"That is because everyone is working, our guild has the highest record of completing mission. Which in return gets us the highest rating and reputation." :(Daniella. Riley answered)

"We were looking to join an adventure's guild." :(Aiden. Ashwell said)

"Well, I'm glad to hear that. We are always happy to have new members. Here, let me show you around the guild." :(Daniella. Riley offered)

"Thank you." :(Aiden. Ashwell said and looked around the room)

*The Outsider, Celli and Aurelia. Wood looked around the Adventure's guild building from floor to floor. They were amazed by the inside architecture and furniture.*

"Here is our armoury, it is filled with various armours and weapons to equip yourself before going out on mission. It is also where you can sell and buy stuff." :(Daniella. Riley explained and gestured her hand)

"This place looks so fancy." :(Aurelia. Wood complimented)

"We strive to be the best, not by brute force or strength. But by the loyalty and trustworthiness." :(Daniella. Riley explained)

"Wow, this armoury is amazing, are these all real?" :(Celli gasped and her mouth wide open)

"Yes, every single piece is real, they come over all around Adorila from the Swords, Armor and Shields of Chonituary. The Bows, Crossbows and Projectiles of Atlantiro. To the Pikes and Halberds of Novaius, and many other things." :(Daniella. Riley nodded and smiled)

"These things are so expensive." :(Aurelia. Wood muttered while holding a sword)

"We have the best gear, which means that our members have the best gear, which in turn makes them more successful." :(Daniella. Riley nodded)

"So, what is the process for joining?" :(Aiden. Ashwell asked, while checking the shield)

"Firstly, anyone can join but they start at lowest rank with in Adventure Guild which called Newbie or rank F, they start by taking small jobs such as delivering parcels, gathering herbs and other low risk jobs. Then once the person is ready, they can advance up the ladder by taking more dangerous jobs such as hunting and slaying monsters." :(Daniella. Riley began and continued to talk)

"After a certain time period they can move up the ranks from F to all the way up to UR Rank, they gain more responsibilities and privileges the higher the rank is." :(Daniella. Riley finished, and smiled)

"Sounds simple enough." :(Celli responded and nodded her head)

"May the Light Goddess blaze your path forward to glory, may she be kind and merciful to you and may the Abyss never catch you." :(Daniella. Riley bowed her head and closed her eyes)

The Outsider, walked up to reception desk and wrote down his fake name which was the Outsider, as well names of Celli and Aurelia. Wood. The Outsider, had to write a lot of fake information to get the Adventure's guild membership. Once done, the Outsider gave the paper back to Daniella.

"Thank you, here are your Adventure's guild membership badge and identification cards. They are proof of your membership, please do not lose it. If you do, it will cost you 1000 Stellar coins to get a replacement. Do not give this to anyone else, it is for your use only. You will also be given a booklet with your member information, and some information about the Adventure's guild." :(Daniella. Riley handed, and explained to the three pair)

"Thank you." :(The three said in unison, they took their badge and identification card and looked at it)

"Please remember that the Adventure's Guild is not a charity, if you lose your membership, you will have to pay the fee to get a new one. We hope that you will have a good experience with the Adventure's Guild. If you have any questions or concerns, please don't hesitate to ask." :(Daniella. Riley concluded; she was smiling)

*As the trio walked outside the Blessed Light of Purity Adventure's Guild building, they looked at the Adventure's guild membership badge and identification card they have acquired. Aurelia, the Ranger Wood, was looking at the identification card in disbelief. Celli, the pixie was flying around with her new badge which was a badge with a sword and the letters 'AG' engraved into it.*

"So, what's the next step?" :(Aiden. Ashwell asked)

"You must be thinking about the quest we need to do for the Adventure's guild." :(Celli wondered)

"Not only that, but the money to hire a merchant, too." :(Aiden. Ashwell replied)

"It will not be a problem, my good friend." :(Aurelia. Wood grinned)

*But something foul at work They can sense the ground shaking beneath them what could produce such shake. As they looked up the sky, they saw it change colour from blue to red which is certainly not normal.

"Is it me or the sky suddenly changed colour?" :(Celli said, she stopped floating and landed)

"No, it's not just you. Something strange is going on here. Maybe it's a magical storm." :(Aurelia. Wood observed, and stood beside Celli)

"I can feel something evil coming. As the Ground shakes beneath us." :(Aiden. Ashwell added, and his knees buckled)

"EVERYONE GET TO YOUR HOUSES THE PAGANS HAD ARRIVED TO OUR THRIVING CITY.!" :(An unknown voice shouted and cried out in fear)

"THE ABYSSAL HAD FOUNDED US, RUN FOR YOUR LIVES!" :(A female lizard man shouted)

"NO, THE PAGANS HAVE COME TO TAKE OUR BELOVED CITY!" :(An old lizard man shouted)

*The citizens of the city were panicking and screaming as The Outsider and Aurelia. Wood thundered forward towards the most forward entrance. There, they were greeted by a horde of demons and undead. The duo quickly dispatched the demons and soldiers. They then pushed forward to the next gate. Upon reaching the next gate, the duo was confronted by a larger force of Pagan demons and soldiers.*

"RUN FOR YOUR LIVES!" :(An unknown lizard woman screamed)

"SOULS FOR SOUL GODDESS, SWORDS FOR THE SWORD THRONE!" :(The Pagan Soldiers roared)

The Outsider had no difficulty cutting down many of the pagan soldiers which were really abyssal in origin with his Starlight blade. Many undead skeletons and zombies were slain by his blade as while Aurelia. Wood was releasing countless of arrows which hit their target. While Celli was flying around the enemies and killing them left and right.

"No wonder you managed to kill a greater demon, you are heavily gifted by the Light Goddess." :(Aurelia. Wood gasped as she witnessed the Outsider cutting down a horde of undead soldiers)

"It is the power of the Starlight Blade; I got it from the Light Goddess herself." :(Aiden. Ashwell smiled and looked around)

"This is a good sword; I will have to buy one of my own." :(Aurelia. Wood nodded and looked at the blade)

"STOP RUNNING YOU COWARDS, WE MUST HOLD THE LINE IN THE NAME OF THE LIGHT GODDESS." :(A voice boomed from the distance)

*The countless hordes of Abyssal entities and undead storming through the gate where the Outsider and Aurelia. Wood won't stop coming like they were determined to breach the wall of the city. But the city's defences were holding them off. However, the Pagan's were slowly wearing down the City's defenders.*

"BY THE LIGHT GODDESS WHEN WOULD THIS HORDE STOP COMMING?" :(An unknown lizard man shouted)

"WE HAVE TO HOLD THE LINE OR WE WILL BE OVERWHELMED BY THESE MINDLESS CREATURES." :(A lizard woman yelled)

"FOR LIGHT GODDESS AND ALL OF HER GLORY." :(The lizard woman yelled and held her shield)

"OUTSIDER LOOK, THOSE KNIGHTS DON'T SEEM FRIENDLY THEY JUST RIGHT BEHIND THE SKELETONS CHARGING AT US." :(Aurelia. Wood called)

"FALSE BLEIVERS REPARE TO FALL UNDER MY WRATH!" :(Unknown knight shouted as it slashes it's sword at Outsider)

"We dealing with something more sinister at work." :(Aiden. Ashwell mumbled)

*The Outsider blocked the unknown Knight's blow; the impact was hard enough that the Outsider's feet made a dent into the ground. He had never seen a person as strong as the Unknown Knight. The Knight was wearing black armour which is blackened and decayed and is riddled with holes and missing pieces.*

[If my memory serves me correct this entity is an Abyss Champion which betrayed the divines.] :(Aiden. Ashwell thought to himself)

"So, you are the chosen of the False Goddess. You will die and your soul will feed the true gods." :(Unknown Knight spoke, while it was attacking the Outsider)

"That what every one of you say." :(Aurelia. Wood said as an insult while released an arrow straight through the Unknown Knight's helmet)

"I'm not the chosen of the false Goddess, I'm an outsider." :(Aiden. Ashwell responded, and tried to keep his cool)

"Die FALSE BLEIVER!" :(The Unknown knight roared and charged towards the Outsider, with its sword)

"OUTSIDER, LOOK OUT." :(Celli screamed)

*Before the Abyss Champion was able to reach the Outsider, the outsider moved out of the way and swung his Starlight Blade at the Abyss Champion's head when it connects it cut right through the helmet and its head came cleanly off. The Abyss Champion roared and exploded in too many particles leaving no trace.*

"You were lucky the first time." :(An unknown female voice spoke, and appeared in front of the Outsider)

"CLOSE THE GATE, QUICKLY." :(An unknown lizard woman roared; she was dressed in an armour which was different from the rest)

Right before the gate was about to be closed the ground shaken beneath the Outsider and Aurelia. Wood few seconds it bulged up wards sent every one flying in all directions. Then the gate collapsed inwards.

"SACRED BLAST!" :(Aurelia. Wood cursed, as she was flung in the air)

"WHAT THE HELL WAS THAT!" :(Aiden. Ashwell cursed, as his body was slammed to the ground)

"THAT WAS NOT NORMAL MAGIC!" :(Celli yelled and shook her head)

"Whatever cause that we need to run before they arrive." :(Aurelia. Wood whispered, and grabbed her bow)

As The Outsider looked up, he saw something horrifying a giant humanoid fly it has six black segmented legs, two blue compound eyes, and a pair of pincers on his head. It also has a long tail that ends in a sharp sting, its body is covered in thick black fur and has a pair of large white wings two of its arms are crossbow shape that could shoot a projectile. The third one is a saw-like blade... Without thought the Outsider dashed forward as his feet jumped and stamped on the ground as he pushed himself forward to the beast.

"BARE WITNESS, OUR STORY WILL BE LEGENDARY, TOLD BY THOSE FALSE BELIVERS MORTALS. THE ABYSS WILL HAVE IT'S INTIABLE ETERNAL BLOOM!" :(The beast roared, and pointed his giant sword at the Outsider)

The Outsider felt a shiver go down his spine, but it was too late he was in front of the monster. He knew his chance of survival is low, but it was worth the shot. He swings his starlight blade towards the monster, it was countered by saw blade arm from the beast, the impact was so powerful it sent him flying back.

"Foolish Mortal, you dare to challenge a son of Tyrion the disease lord, I am the embodiment of the eternal bloom. Prepare to be a part of eternal bloom, a place where souls and bodies are consumed and destroyed. I the eternal bloom." :(The Monster roared, and swung its blade towards the Outsider)

"I expected a better fight mortal, I will enjoy consuming your soul and flesh. For I am the son of the Grand Mother." :(The monster shouted and pointed its crossbow arm at the Outsider)

As the Outsider charged at the monster voiding bolts that homed on him like missiles, he leaped in the air preparing to strike the monster down with his Starlight Blade. As he swung his blade with all his might, it made a connection with the monster's leg, causing the beast to roar in pain. The beast quickly retaliated and struck the Outsider, sending him flying backwards.

"YOU PATHETIC MORTAL! YOU WILL NEVER DEFEAT ME. MY POWER IS THAT OF A GOD!" :(The monster roared, and raised its arm)

*As the Outsider regained his senses and rose to his feet, the monster pointed its crossbow arm at him and fired several shots, narrowly missing the Outsider. The monster then lunged at the Outsider, striking him in the chest, sending him crashing to the ground. The wound on chest was fatal as the Outsider lies down bleeding. Celli floated down to his head and began a spell cast on him. Aurelia. Wood fired several arrows at the monster, but they seemed to have little effect. The monster continued its relentless assault, striking the Outsider repeatedly. With each blow, the Outsider's vision began to fade.*

"WHERE YOUR FIGHT, MY BROTHER ACHLION WAS BANISH BY YOUR KIND, WELL NOW HE IS HERE TO COLLECT THE DEBTS THAT IS OWED. SAY GOODBYE MORTAL, IT IS TIME TO GO DOWN." :(The monster roared, and charged at the Outsider)

When hope seems to be lost Aurelia. Wood start firing away arrows like their no tomorrow, the monster of eternal bloom was being distracted by Aurelia. Wood's constant interference and strikes. This gave the Outsider just enough time to get his bearing. He felt the familiar feeling of a blessing from the Light Goddess and he was able to get back up to his feet and stand up tall.

"THAT IT, I HAVE HAD ENOUGH OF YOU MORTALS. YOUR SOULS WILL BE DEVOURED." :(The monster roared and pointed its saw like blade arm at the Outsider)

*As the monster went in for kill his attack was parried by the Outsider despite bleeding from his chest, the Outsider was now determined to win the fight. He had no choice but to do the impossible. The Outsider was able to push the monster's attack back with a strong slash with his starlight blade. It was powerful enough to knock the monster back.*

"HOW DARE YOU, MORTAL! I AM A SON OF THE GRAND MOTHER. I CANNOT BE DEFEATED BY SUCH A WEAK MORTAL." :(The monster roared in rage and lunged at the Outsider, swinging its saw-like blade arm)

*But the Outsider was not going to give up, he kept blocking the monster's attacks. The monster was getting frustrated and was starting to lose its composure. It was not used to being challenged by a mortal, much less one that could withstand its attacks. The Outsider used this to his advantage and was able to land several hits on the monster, wounding it. As the Outsider Star Light Blade was glowing in intense light and energy.*

"I AM THE LIGHT WHO BANISH THE DARKNESS." :(Aiden. Ashwell shouted as he held the sword up high and casted a very powerful spell once it completed, he unleashed it on the ground by stabbing the sword on to the ground)

The spell the Outsider cased was so powerful it had power of billion nuclear bombs exploding at once, the explosion knocked everyone off the feat and unleashed a beam of light that shot towards the air which could be seen on the rest of Chonituary, it felt a super nova was unleashed on the heavens.

"NO, IT CANNOT BE THIS POWER IS FROM FALSE GODDESS LIGHT GODDESS!" :(The monster cursed)

"NOOOO MY FORM, MY BODY, CURSE YOU PATHETIC MORTAL." :(The Monster cursed, as he slowly started disappearing)

*When the monster was destroyed, the Outsider was exhausted. He had never felt such an intense amount of power before, as the dust settled what clearly to him that the entire city vaporized in instant, he could not see his companions around only a crater. But he turned around and saw his companions, Aurelia. Wood and celli severely wounded.*

"Where is everyone?" :(Aiden. Ashwell whispered)

"YOU KILLED THEM RUFFIN!" :(Aurelia. Wood yelled at the outsider)

"You can't be serious. I didn't kill them, I mean look at the place." :(Aiden. Ashwell responded)

"You blasted this city to dust with no remains left behind, what only remains is the crater where we standing on right now. I'm sure even a blind person can see it." :(Aurelia. Wood said furiously, with tears running down her cheeks)

"I don't know what to say, I didn't expect this to happen. I'm sorry for what I have done." :(Aiden. Ashwell sighed and shook his head)

*The Outsider tried get his bearings straight and looked around what he saw on top the crater wall on left was an 18 year old girl in a court dress of a deep blue with a yellow and white cloak with golden circlet with a yellow gem. She also has blue eyes with yellow tint of colour. As her short hair of bright blue. She currently has height of 5.75 feet. The worse of all she was also clapping.*

"Well done stranger, you left behind no evidence of the city in fight to survive how honourable of you to wield to power of the Light Goddess. To think of it no one able wield such power to this extent expect from the chosen's ones who come far to visit here, you out did yourself." :(Unknown 18 year old girl talked while clapping and with good smile)

"Who are you? And how did you get here, you should have been killed by the blast." :(Aiden. Ashwell mumbled)

"Don't be silly, I was on route to this city when the calamity you brought destroy it in pieces. You have to earn my name, seems like I have found perfect weapon to push back the abyss." :(Unknown 18 year old girl explained as she pointed and stared at the Outsider)

"Weapon!? Do you think this is a game? I'm a human being, and I have feelings." :(Aiden. Ashwell snapped)

*In spilt of second the Unknown 18 year old girl casted a spell but it was unknown it made her vanish from sight which alerted the Outsider, Aurelia. Wood and Celli to look for her but only Celli found her, she was standing behind the Outsider.*

"You look surprised like this was your first time, I seen people with your power before but all slayed by the Abyss, you must have something more than meets the eye. Your power is beyond my comprehension, it's not just from the Light Goddess or the Abyss it's more complex than that.
