A long night had passed when Vane woke up in the dark, luscious cave where he resided. A faint light on the walls can be seen being emitted by the glowy moss that surrounds them. Vane still can’t believe what is happening in this harsh reality, but he has no time to be depressed and scared. He needs to plan out how to live and how to survive.
Vane then gathered his remaining sticks and ordered Zeldra to light the campfire. Then Vane gathered his thoughts and came up with strategies that would help him survive before he proceeded outside.
“I need to have a plan. First of all, I need to examine my skills and review all that was in the game and in reality. The world of Abyssal Summoner and the world now”
“My class is Abyssal Summoner. In the game Abyssal Summoner, you can capture creatures and train them to compete in PVP and PVE. In the game, I collected all the monsters from common to godlike rank creatures because, obviously, I’m that good. I'm that addicted to this game.”
Vane continued to analyse the game itself and his situation. Vane discovered that the world itself is far from the settings of the game, but somehow the game system works for his class and character. Like the Abyssal Summoner, he can use his summons from the game in this world, and even his class says that he’s an Abyssal Summoner, although the class is still on the limit for now to its full potential. Levelling up can unlock those bounderies, and Vane can’t imagine how strong he gets.
“Although I can summon monsters, it’s still limited for now. I can only summon one monster in battle, but I can switch them up, which is good news. It means I can store Zeldra and use a different monster. The downside is that the monster needs to level up first. That means I will have to grind. Also, the monsters I can use for now are only common monsters, which is fine after all ranks and rarity doesn’t matter. Only strategy matters.”
Vane had been the champion for ten years straight in Abyssal Summoner. Using all kinds of strategies, even monsters that are considered trash, to destroy his opponents, that’s why Vane believes that rarity doesn’t matter but strategies do. Higher rank rarity monsters sure have higher stats and broken abilities, but they vane outsmart and proved that even the weakest stat pokemon can shine. In the game, there are also common monsters that rival and even surpass the highest rarity. But it’s just hard to use in the early stages.
“Unlike in games, I can also fight here. I have my class, so my main skills are only limited to my class, but the good thing is I can learn passive skills and level them up by repeating and executing them.”
“But the question I really want to ask is: What happens if my monsters die? I hope it will just store automatically in the storage.” After the long strategy session, Vane then proceeded to decide his final plan.
“I will store Zeldra for now.” Vane then proceeded to store Zeldra in the Abyssal storage and took out another monster.
“Talpisythe I choose you!! Ohh man I love my childhood!”

Vane then proceeded outside the cave to get ready for the hunt. It was bright outside the cave, and a slight trail of blood could be seen towards the inner part of the forest. Afar, a group of goblins can be seen eating an unrecognisable carcass.

Vane then commanded his monster to sneak underground below the goblin. Then Talpisythe used ground manipulation to sink the three goblins in the ground, like quicksand slashing them. One goblin then got out of the ground, but Vane stuck a spear on its shoulders, pushing it back on the ground. One goblin also got out and jumped at Vane, making him stumble while trying to stop the knife near its face.
Vane then kicks the goblin and used his bodyweight to pin the goblin down. He then punches the goblin multiple times on its head smashing its brains out and killing it. Meanwhile the other two goblins died at the hands of his monster.
Vane then continued to hunt stealthy as he encounters another group of goblins.

Vane then proceeded to use the same strategy with the first group of goblins. This time, two of the goblins got out of the ground. Then a large ground spike pierces underground, skewering the goblins that are trapped.
“Time to show my trump card then”
The two goblins then jump at his direction. Talpisythe then emerges from the ground decapitating the other goblin while the other one was smash through the head by the blunt weapon that vane picked up and finishing it off by piercing its heart with a spear.

After the successful hunt, Vane then proceeded to the river, where he was attacked by the Erlking. He then commanded his monster to check the waters to see if there was an enemy. Unfortunately, this is the only water source that he can access, and fortunately, there is no threat nearby. He then recalled Talpisythe and proceeded to bring out another monster.

Vane then used the skill store to store water from the lake. He then recalled the pouch child and brought out Talpisythe. He then continues to travel further along the lake, south of the cave where he resided. Far from the lake, there is a swamp, and Vane silently observes the surroundings while his monster covers them up with silence.
Suddenly, a large snake with sharp tusks and horns emerged from the bottom of the swamp and began to circle around Vane.
Boa (level 30)
The 30-foot snake then strikes from where Vane and his monster are standing. They have completely dodged the attack, but despite its large body, the snake is ready to launch a counterattack. Vane then ordered his monster to manipulate the ground as the snake sank and lost the balance to strike Vane.
Huge spikes then emerge from the ground, but they do a little damage to the boa. The snake then lunches at Talpisythe as Vane strikes the snake’s body with a spear, wounding it. Talpisythe was then hit, leaving it with half of its HP, and Talpisythe countered the boa, slicing it with its blade and wounding it around the neck.
Vane then tried to recall Talpisythe as he brought out Zeldra. Zeldra then used bind to restrict the boa’s movement as Vane barraged it with strikes. Zeldra then uses ember, aiming at the boa’s head and severing the right eye of the monster. The boa then launches a poison projectile, hitting Vane off guard. Vane then began to lose health slowly.
“Fucking snake!! I’m gonna die you piece of devil!”
Zeldra then draw the last ember and killing the large boa.
