Two days ago,
In room were it looked like that it was just renovated, wall were newly painted there stood two man talking to each other. One of them had cigarette in his mouth and was standing near the window. He was watching the progress of reconstruction of the building that recently burned down and man standing few feet behind him wearing glasses had some papers in his hand.
“*cough* uhm sir I got some new updated on that recent incident.”
As he heard that his ear twitch and his eyebrows raised. He turn around and put off his cigarette in ashtray on his table. As he turned you could see he was around 25-26 years old man. An handsome face on which girls could die. It was captain price.
“go ahead robert.”
“Yes, then about that intruder we still don’t know his identity but we might be able to get his whereabouts.”
“Oh! And where could be our little rat might hiding?”
“About that I don’t know the exact place but it looks like he might be in slums and looks like 2nd lieutenant already has gone there.”
“*tch* that bastard his still trying to get my position!!”
“Sir one more thing the subject that escaped, I can’t access his file. Not only that there’s similar subject how breakout.”
“Breakout, not rescued or escaped?!!”
“Yes, I mean there were many restraint on that subject but with powers out and half the building burned down we couldn’t contain him and he break through his prison and killed many of our mans. Also the bodies we found looked like aged like someone drink out there life force from them.”
Hearing all this news price got angry and throw the ashtray on the ground.
(fuck! That mad man created something and put here like it’s nothing. That monster roaming and killing my mans. On the other hand we still don’t know who the fucking hell attack my base. I swear once I find that son of bitch I’m killing him with my bear hands.!!)
“Sir what we should do?”
“First lets go were that bastard is. Then we will follow your info.”
After confirming everything price and robert left the office to go were the slum area was. After arriving at white flower inn he saw a boy standing at entrance. He was wearing brown robes and had a small bag enough to carry some food and clothes. And he heard voices coming inside from inn. He saw that boy was lurking around avoiding any soldiers and trying to get inside.
“hmm, I have never seen that boy. Do you know anything about that boy robert?”
“I don’t have enough information on him so I can’t tell anything right now.”

“I guessed that much. Never mind lets go and see what he hiding!!”
As he entered white flower he saw argument between 2nd lieutenant and owner of the inn. And so to stop them he loudly shouted
“THATS ENOUGH!!”
Everybody went silent when they heard that loud voice. he glared at his subordinate. Seeing this a small voice came out of that soldier
“ah- captain price why- I mean what are you doing here sir?!”
“I heard news that you have lead on that intruder, so I decided to come myself. Do you have any objection?!”
“NO no- how can I have any objection. Hahaha please come and help!”
Then ignoring others he stared to walk towards that boy. Seeing price come at him boy got scared and backed off a little.
“Why are you afraid? I just want to ask you something. Who are you? What are you doing here? Where did you came from?!”
“uh- ah I-I’m max, just a traveler passing by this city!!”
“oh a traveler in this city where people don’t come that often and at such young age.!!”
“ah- yes I get that a lot.”
“so what are you doing here I mean this is slum area you know. Are you here for some night entertainment?!”
“uh- about that-”
As max was about to answer that, their conversation got interrupted by owner of the bar.
“Price can you stop intimidating my customer.”
Price turned his head to see from where that voice came from and saw a middle aged man who was this inns owner.
“hmm what do you mean by your customer old man?!”
“He just recently arrived in capital and his things got stolen, So one of my employee offered him to stay a night here. So can you give some space he already had bad day.”
“Is that so. Did you inform the authority or any guard about it?!”
“ah- I-I’m going to first thing tomorrow.!”
Looking back at between max and old man price let out a sigh.
“okay, there nothing more to investigate here lets go and you old man stop calling me price I’m captain now not small kid that you used to know.”
“ya ya I’ll when you stop calling me old man.”
Saying that price ordered his man to leave the place. After leaving he approached robert.
“So you got your information now tell me about him!!”
“Yes about that at least his name looks real. But I can’t get into his head, it’s like something or someone is blocking me.”
“oh! You mean to say his blocking your mind reading ability. Now that interesting!!”
“I doubt that from looks of like it he doesn’t know that I’m in his mind. I’ll try going deep in his mind but it’ll need concentration so you go ahead I’ll wait and try it now.”
As robert asked price left and robert went near white flower inn to get inside maxs head. Robert saw max memories and saw that he was there when that explosion happened. But as soon as he tried to go deep in his memory he only saw darkness then he heard a voice “oh we have visitor. Thanks for waking me up from my slumber, but I don’t like people who snoop around in others businesses. This boy doesn’t need you snooping around in his head. So BEGONE!!!”
And just like that robert was kicked out of max head by an unknown voice. Then he looked inside to see what happened and saw max collapse on ground.
( What was that? How can be there someone else. No no I’m over thinking it there might be someone with similar ability who put protection on him or something like that how can it happen? I need to report this to captain and that map his going for old factory!!)
After coming back Robert reported what happened and what he saw in max head. Hearing all this price was grinning like mad man.
“ So my guess was right he have something to do with this!!”
“Sir should I go and capture that boy now then?”
“NO! We’ll wait for him to go there were his other friends are and I’ll kill all of them with my own hands. Put some of your trusted people to tail him I want every small detail of him. What he eat? Where he go? What he do? Everything understood?!!”
“Yes sir I’ll do as you asked.”
But after two days of waiting price got news that max hasn’t left inn and from the looks of it his been sleeping for three days now.
“Sir I think we should take him in and interrogate him.”
“There is no use, we can’t just arrest random people our public image will go down it’s already at worst.”
“So sir what should we do?”
“We should go to old factory. We might find there something after all it’s their meeting place.”
