"By the authority of the Imperial Dynasty of the Great Drevaltaair, I knight thee, Frederick the Braveheart."
Upon the declaration of His Majesty the Great Emperor, Frederick, kneeling, looked up to meet the eyes of the ruler in front of him.
That visage was akin to a proudful lion looking down on a prey.
"I, Frederick from the household of Herrscher, then named the Braveheart as conferred by His Imperial Majesty Drevaltaair, offer my undying loyalty to the Empire."
Boldly declaring the oath of fealty, Frederick rose from kneeling.
Standing around him are people of significant peerage. Dukes of the Golden Regions, Margraves of the Borders, Counts and Viscounts of the Realm, and Barons of the Citadels, all were applauding ceremoniously for the knighthood of Frederick, a promising warrior who had showed his proficiency in the arts of warfare and combat when had been studying in the Imperial Academy.
They were currently in the audience hall, where the Golden Throne of Drevaltaair sat in the center of the room elevated by a multitude of carpet-laden steps.
Chandeliers of fine glasses blown by the best glassmakers of the Great Empire hung on the high ceilings of the hall, vibrantly illuminating the room with a grandiose atmosphere.
Between each interval of the colonnade affixed the surrounding walls stood a gigantic statue that depicted one of the Fourty Heroes of Drevaltaair, who founded the empire under the guidance of the Emperor-God Drevaltaair.
As the ceremony was about to finish, the Great Emperor sat upon his throne, and said thus, "At Our behest, go forth to the north and uncover the origin of the Meteors."
The Emperor commanded, and Frederick, having taken a few steps backward near the edge of the platform, knelt on his right leg and put his fisted right arm to his left chest.
"As you command, Your Imperial Majesty."
And so, Frederick the Braveheart embarked on a journey to the north, for his first quest given by the Emperor.

The World was a vast continent of differing landscapes.
To the south laid the Great Empire of Drevaltaair. Its lands were known to have bountiful harvests throughout the year and was nicknamed the Golden Harvest of the South. The country was as vast as several kingdoms, encompassing the coastlines of the Tranquil Seas to the west and to the Great Redstone River to the east and spanning from the Drevaltaair Mountains to the north down to the Harbor City of the Cape to the south. Its size suggests it had sheer dominating military might, and truly its were warriors were extolled throughout the continent as heroic and awe-inspiring. The state was ruled by the Great Emperor who descended from the God-Emperor Drevaltaair, who was advised by an assembly of nobles, known as the Senate, and high-ranking officials and merchants, who are called the Council, altogether forming the core government of the Great Drevaltaair Empire.

North of the Great Drevaltair Empire was a vast steppe littered with nations big and small, popularly called as the Free Kingdoms. Although dubbed the Free Kingdoms, most of the nations were either federations, republics, or duchies. However, the Fallow Kingdom, the Kingdom of Sabiria, Holy Wilthian Kindom, United Sales-Brozovia Kingdom, and the Kingdom of Magic Dynasty possessed much of the lands in the Free Kingdoms Region, which was thrice as large as the Great Drevaltaair Empire. The Free Kingdoms was unique in a way as it was akin to a loose confederation of states with their own monarchs. Trade flourished as a result of their good relations, making the Free Kingdoms the center of commerce in the World.
What bordered the Free Kingdoms on the Central Mountain Ranges was a kingdom comparable to the Great Drevaltaair Empire in size and military might, the Draconic Kingdom. Ruled by the Dragon King, who was said to be a real Ancient Dragon in a human form, the Draconic Kingdom prospered as a nation of draconic beings and other sentient reptilian beings belonging to primitive tribes. The Draconic Kingdom was famous for their Dragon Knights whose scales are as tough as the armor of the knights from the Drevaltaair Empire.
In the center of the continent, east of the Draconic Kingdom and north of the Free Regions, lied the Holy Empire of Kairos. It was a mighty empire that ruled as the supreme hegemon among the hegemons in the center of the continent. It was said that if the Central Mountain Ranges and the Northern Alps surrounded the Draconic Kingdom, it would have long been a territory of the Holy Empire. The Holy Empire believed that they descended from seafaring overlords who settled in the World after a long journey throughout the stars, contrary to popular belief that the World was a universal world with only the continent as the habitable realm of its occupants and that the sky was the roof of said world. Its military was far more advanced than other nations, employing mechanical siege engines and cutting-edge technology taken from the archives of their supposed ancestors in their expansionist policy. Their warriors wore brilliant white armors that could easily deflect the stab of a sword, and they were equipped with handguns that shot out blinding white light and could devastate enemies from a distance, making them appear as warriors of God to unknowing men. Thanks to the power of these warriors, the Holy Empire dominated the kingdoms that once proudly flew their banners in the Central Continent.
Northeast of the Center was the Highlands, inhabited by warlike tribes led by warlords. The rule of the jungle was the doctrine of the warriors who made up the entirety of the population.
East of the continent, separated from the whole continent by the Great Redstone River and connected to the Highlands by a narrow rock bridge, was the Great Peaks. Various martial clans and schools honed their arts high up in the mountains, living in harmony with the world and their selves. What set them apart from the warring tribes of the Highlands, with whom they share an ancestor, was their peaceful demeanor and focus in improving themselves through martial arts.
East of the Great Peaks laid the islands that were home to traditional warriors, the Archipelago. They embodied martial arts as much as those practitioners in the Great Peaks did, but they followed a strict code of conduct and maintained a rigid society, as it is away from the affairs of the continent.
Lastly, to the north, far north of the Highlands, was the Frigid Wastelands. It had nothing noteworthy about but its extreme desolation.
However, it now became the center of the World's attention, as it was where the "Stars Fell from the Skies."
