Time passed, and I analyzed deeper my connections and specifications of myself. There was one similarity between the wolves and me; we both share a body, mind, and soul. One significant difference I noticed was that while the wolf's body and mind were physical in the form of meat and their souls metaphysical, My body and soul were physical in the form of the cave and the crystal, while my mind was immaterial.
I can see layers of intricacies in this topic; however, my uncovering this field must wait for later. My cave has three large sections with corridors connecting each of them, that much I know, but what about the world outside my cave? Am I within a swamp or a forest, perhaps a jungle?
Luckily I have Caesar, and my connection with him tells me what I want to know. The entrance to my cave is at the base of a mountain ring, crowned around overgrown forests and a river with an opening opposite my cave. According to the location's prime settling, the memories of Caesar, and the corpse of my first invader, there is likely a tribe of those species nearby.
However, just like the speculations of magic, the location of where I am is reserved for later. Actually, for a reasonable explanation, a new creature is entering my cave. A relatively dense being often called a bear. It is a unique specimen, larger than Caesar, alongside an armory of scars. At first, I felt joy, for a new connection was to be made, but it was refused.
My connection was refused; this was new to me. I'm not too fond of this information, whereas there were those with whom I couldn't make a connection and those with whom I can; now there are three. On a different level, it increased the number of my enemies, for if a being like this bear refused my connection and continued to move into my cave, they would be a danger to me.
My wolves and Caesar often stuck to the large sections not connected to the outside so they had time to hide. The bear entered the area leading to my core, clearly following where it sensed the connection. When the bear walked close enough for the wolves to surround their foes once again, Caesar lept.

The spot Caesar lept from was to the bear's side, as its neck was only visible from those general directions. Seeing a figure swiftly approaching it, the bear instinctively swatted at it. Despite my padding, A side of Caesar's entire face got scarred, and his body thwomped against the cave walls. He seems to be unable to move, whimpering in agony as his muscles twitch and
My other wolves joined into the fight once they saw their leader's injury, several bites and gnaws at the scarred bear's hides. The bear clawed many of them, dripping the blood of wolves and bear onto its stained fur. Most of my wolves keep their distance from the bear, and some are further away due to severe wounds. In my wolf's orchestra of gnarling and whining, one ran into another part of the caves.
The bear marched toward the corridors that winded into my core, pushing my wolves bit by bit toward my core. Amidst this chaos, I am quickly looking for any advantages to utilize in this fight. Exhaustion in the legs as each one moved and with weary eyes, the bear had suffered the same as my wolves. I need something that could piece the bear's vital organ; however, my wolves are just as wounded as it is
Then I recognized that the wolf who ran away was returning, I couldn't look away from the battle, but I didn't need to. The stone spear was within the wolf's jaw, teeth biting into the wood. As the wolf with a spear drove right toward the bear, the scarred intruder tried to swat the incoming threat. However, Caesar had recovered enough to move and chomped onto its paw. With the bear's slight delay, the wolf had leaped into the air, bent its body around, and pierced the spear through the head of the bear.
My wolves had won, though they were heavily in need of rest and care. I evaluated what I could do to help, remembering that I could modify Caesar. I reflected upon what I felt and used and twisted them slightly so they could regenerate. Then, from my crystal core, I sent out glimmering dust that eventually floated upon the wounds of my wolves; the pulsation of the crystal resonated the healing process to accelerate. With this, those with light damage returned to pristine, while those with heavier injuries could stand and move as they healed.
However, in the case of Caesar, it was a different story. His lacerations only healed from the muscles up to the right beneath the skin, but the crystals above the cured layer had coalesced into a scar. So now, alongside Caesar's face on the left side, a crystal scar was embedded within the skin with a glistening sparkle like my crystal core.
