"GET HIM!" roars out of a bulky man's mouths. The people to his left and right charge forward through the forest, roaring with passion.
A few miles ahead of the group, runs a little man, Although you would doubt so as he runs with his flowing hair and tears running down his highly feminine face. This was simply because man is one of the rare races of high elves. Hunted because of the mana eyes they possess and usually sold into slavery and turned into mana batteries for nobles.
The reason this man in specific was being hunted by these bunch of dirty, evil bandits is because of his rare breed. His father was High elf while his mother was a Druid, a guardian of old residing inside of the many world trees. This as you can tell didnt go over well with either race as they are mortal enemys, something stupid about which is the rightful owner of the world trees.
This in turn made the man be kicked out of both races' homelands and his location sold to the highest bidder, which was by chance a bunch of bandits. Well they arent that stupid, they did track him down pretty easily and surrounded the forrest. But like they did know he was half druid and they let him into a forrest, how stupid can bandits be?
Well anyway back to the dramatic chase, the man runs through the forest. He runs at top speed avoiding the creatures and traps but unlucky for him, the forest he was running through was the territory of the legendary Demonic Fire Bear. But he was a little slow thinking about what the weird lump of fleshy meat he stepped on was as he felt a burning object slam into his chest, throwing him across the forest floor into a nearby tree.

He just sat there, blood pouring out while looking at the giant red eyed bear in front of him, the bear staring back at him. The bear just sits there staring at him like a piece of steak, probably thinking about what the best way to eat him was. The man accepted death at the hands, no well paws of this beast and closed his eyes, only to reopen them as a surging pain came from his shoulder. He looked down, to see a arrow sticking out, even the bear seemed to realise something as it turned around. Only to receive an arrow to the leg, this pissed off the monster of a bear, it charged into the darkness. A darkness the man assumed was filled with his chasers.
He let out a sigh, he knew he was going to die here. There was nothing he could do except become bear food or become some mages play thing. The man just sat against the tree, his body shutting down. A roar filled the forest, followed by screams of what the man assumed was his hunters. He simply smiled and looked at the tree behind him, then muttered something as he started glowed, the brightness grew as he was covered with light.
His last thought was of his parents, friends, enemies of all those that betrayed him. He would not allow anyone to have his life. He would go out on his own terms, leaving nothing for these heathers. With that he died, and our hero was born.
