A Devil's Dialogue II

"I love you more than roses. I would gladly toss my life for you."

"Ew. Get away from me you disgusting piece of shit. The only thing you have going for you is your lovely face, but there's no sincerity to your words and your voice lacks passion. Get the fuck away from me, you damn faker."

"Eh?"

"What did you say? Did you really think such a shitty pickup line would even work on me? There's more to love than mere appearance. Money, brat, money. If they're rich enough that their appearance is irrelevant, I'll sleep with them. So while your face is pretty, there's nothing else going for you. Furthermore, while roses are the most beautiful flowers, they're also the most vulgar. Their pretty appearance only hides their rotten core, so of course they die so rapidly."

"And what did you say, oh Ms. Vanity? Haven't you admit your own sin of taking wealth wherever you go?"

"And what of it, stupid narcissist? Is your head even in the right place? I live my own goddamn life however the hell I want; you do the same, just don't involve me in it. There's no merit to you. Your character is lacking, your brain is decaying, and your appearance is like a rose, a thinly-veiled attempt to hide your disgusting existence. Judge me however you want, but I wish to hear no more from you. My brain cells are already weaping having spent this much time with you already."

"Wait! I must say this, Ms. Vanity. While I despise you and you despise me, let us have an affair. Is there not joy messing with our fellow man? I believe it to be one of the most lovely pastimes I have."

"All the more reason not to join you. Unlike you, I spend no time in wasteless vengeance. No point to adding insult to injury. And besides, my fellow man is still worthy in my eyes, unlike you who think he's above it. And it's abundantly clear that you're even lesser than man."

"A lovely hypocrisy you have there. Aren't you on the same plane as me? I take joy in pilfering happiness. You take joy in pilfering wealth. Is there not much difference?"

"Oh my, it's clear you're the one who's lesser. Don't compare trash like you to me. While I steal money, I do not take glee in it, and I always ensure that I properly repay that money with my own body. I do not take delight in others' misery. I have no such sadistic tendency, unlike you who wishes to destroy and take without even a twinge of guilt. And unlike you, I know the value of happiness. You may see me as a slut, but I actually have no qualms about it. My life is already happy, and it's a terrible thing to take it away. Fucker, I'm done with your voice. I've heard enough of your lies; I'm leaving."

"Ah, so I am trash, huh. In your eyes, I'm trash? Well, hold on there Ms. Vanity, I'm not done with you yet! Come ba-"

"DON'T TOUCH ME. YOU FILTHY FUCKER, I'LL CALL THE POLICE. WORSE YET, I'LL KICK YOUR OWN ASS FOR THEM."

"HOW ABOUT YOU LISTEN TO ME, YOU GODDAMN SLUT. I'VE BEEN MISERABLE SINCE I'VE BEEN BORN, ALWAYS, ALWAYS SEEING PEOPLE ENJOY THEIR LIVES WHILE I AM DEPRIVED OF IT. I'M SICK OF IT. I'M SICK OF IT. I WANT TO DRAG THEM IN THE DIRT, SO THAT THEY CAN FEEL HOW PAINFUL IT WAS TO WATCH OTHERS LIVE CONTENTLY."

"Hah. What a vicious personality, you have there. Unfortunately, I am no saint. I don't have time for this shit. I have a life to live, and you have no place in it. So how about you go run off and live your own damn life?"

"I WILL NOT. YOU HAVE TO LISTEN TO ME AND DO AS I SAY. I DESERVE THIS MU-"

Bang.

"Oh thank god, officer, you're here. I had to listen to this freak for five minutes!"

"It's okay, it's okay. You'll be fine. Here. Don't cry. I'll take this asshole where he belongs."

"Oh really? Thank god, oh thank mercy I'm safe."

"But, I'm sorry to say this, but you'll have to answer a few questions about him. Is that fine with you, or should we gave you some time?"

"I'll be strong. If it'll hasten the process of bringing this man to justice, I'll answer your questions."

"Atta girl! I love a woman like that."

"Oh~, flirting with a woman at your age? You silly pervert."

"Ahahah, well, I need times like these. The life of a police officer is honestly a gruesome undertaking. You see things you never wished you saw. Ahem. Sorry, I got a little dark there. Anyways, shall we go to the station?"

"Let's."
