PART 1
Alex gasped harshly, his nose itching from the sudden air intake.
Around him, lights of all kinds made him squint his eyes, making it hard to discern what his surroundings were like.
He could only feel how the place he had awoken was different because he was currently sitting in some kind of chair that was being pushed forward by someone or something.
The strange part, however, was the absence of the typical resistance one would expect when wheels met the floor. Instead the motion felt smooth, almost like sliding on ice.
Finally, his eyes adjusted to the harsh light. It was then he discovered he had been half covering them with his hands all along.
Before him stretched a grand expanse, a vast open space nestled within the confines of a colossal hall with walls of shimmering blue metal. The air hummed and all kinds of lights flickered from every nook and cranny.
There were lights coming from small buildings embedded in the walls, making them uneven. Floating through the air were miniature airships carrying round cylinders and thousands of what seemed to be flying robot piranhas like the one that had kidnapped him.
They swarmed in a mesmerizing display, their metallic bodies gleaming under the mix of lights.
Amidst this dazzling panorama, a path unfolded before him, leading to the center of the open space. There, a big round table-like structure caught his attention as it was displaying holograms of star systems.
Alex couldn’t really discern well, he was not much into astrology, but he was sure the worlds shown were not Earth. Their colors and landmasses were not right in any of them.
And, surrounding said table, were approximately fourteen blue-skinned women, all of them almost identical to the one who had scanned him. They were currently looking intently at his direction.
“What in the name of…!”
Alex's heart skipped a beat as he surveyed the unnatural gazes of the women, and fumbled in his chair.
Trembling all over, he tried to frantically rise up from his chair, but his hands failed to grasp the tube-like armrests and his fingers slipped off. This caused his body to tumble leftwards.
With a resounding thud, his shoulder bore the brunt of the impact, leaving it numb and throbbing.
“Oh, by the creators! Are you alright, my king?” An electronic female voice sounded behind him.
Startled, Alex strained his neck to glance at her, only to discover yet another blue-skinned woman with vibrant red hair.
“Fuck! Me and my rotten luck!
Alex didn’t hesitate to start crawling away from the nearest alien woman, but his legs failed to respond to him.
Lowering his gaze, he managed to see his unresponsive legs dangling from a floating metal chair. Meanwhile, the alien woman was grasping a pair of handles from the chair.
“My king, you must not move so soon! You underwent treatment not long ago!”
The alien woman, who wore a funny red navy hat, seemed to be concerned.
However, Alex was still under the impression he was going to be eaten, just like in that movie he watched last month where blue-skinned women devoured males in order to have offsprings.
“Wait, hold on a second! I don’t taste so good! There are far tastier guys back in my hometown.” He desperately explained, his forehead glistening with sweat.
Alex waved his hands desperately, trying to earn the pity of the aliens. Yet, much to his dismay, a gentle but firm force held him, lifting him up into the air.
“Please, calm down my king. Allow us to explain the situation.” A serene but electronic voice filled his mind.
The voice was obviously trying to calm him down, but what it accomplished was for Alex to get excited. His eyes widened and his mouth adopted a goofy smile.
The gentle force guided him back into the floating chair.
Alex allowed it without opposing resistance, his gaze fixed in one of the alien women surrounding the round table who had her eyes glowing a mesmerizing shade of purple.
“So, telekinesis and telepathy aren't just the stuff of wild imaginations, huh?” The young man asked rapidly. “I’m assuming I’m not going to be your next meal.”
The woman smiled, her glowing eyes returning to their unnatural red as Alex was carefully returned to the floating chair.
“Of course not, we don’t consume organic lifeforms unless it is necessary.” The alien woman, who seemed to be the leader as the others remained silent, spoke. “And yes, our primary purpose is to make you into our king.”
Alex tilted his head, a skeptical frown etching across his face. His eyes darted from one woman to another, searching for any hint of deception.
To his surprise, their faces bore reassuring expressions, nodding in unison as if to affirm their sincerity.
Summoning all his strength, Alex sat up, his movements made hard by the sedatives in his system. But his muscles relaxed and a small smile formed on his face.
“So, let me get this straight. You're telling me that you have no intention of eating me.”
He scanned their faces, his lips clenching as the alien women nodded at him again.
And, on top of that, you actually want me to become your new king?” He asked, raising an eyebrow in disbelief. “Well, that's something only a complete idiot would believe!”
The leader of the alien women took a step forward, her hand outstretched in a placating way.
“Wait, please allow us to explain…” She pleaded, her words drowned out by his next words.
“You know what? You guys are incredibly lucky! I’m such an idiot!” Alex declared, his hands extending outward in a grandiose manner.
The alien women, their expressions turning deadpan, could only stand in silence as he basked in his self-proclaimed glory.
Alex, oblivious to their predicament, continued boasting.
“Oh yes, it's abundantly clear! I am the chosen one, the long-lost son of a dragon, destined to rule an entire race of stunning blue-skinned women!”
In the face of such an outburst, the alien women could only exchange incredulous glances.
It was evident that this man was an absolute fool.
Some of the alien women couldn't contain their amusement, their laughter muffled by their hands pressed against their mouths.
"No, no, no," they chimed in unison, their hands gesturing dismissively as if discarding trash.
The leader took a step back, her expression softening as she attempted to clarify their intentions.
“You see, you happened to be in the right place at the right time. Getting you was the least energy costing decision for us.” She explained. “We could have chosen anyone from your neighborhood, but it was simply a coincidence that it happened to be you.”
Comprehending her words of dismissal, Alex's head dropped and throbbed. His disheveled hair concealing his reddened eyes.
An air of despair settled upon him, weighing heavily on his spirit.
“Such a stupid coincidence!” he exclaimed, frustration lacing his voice as he raised his head to meet their gazes, pointing accusingly at the leader.
“Why on earth would you abduct a random man to be your king when you possess such incredible technology?”
The aliens tilted their heads cutely, an expression of confusion descending upon their faces.
The leader even brought a finger to her lips, her face gaining a sudden look of realization.
“I'm sorry, but we don't comprehend human logic.” She admitted. “According to our programming, we must follow a king, so we simply acquired a new one after the unfortunate demise of the previous king. It's all quite straightforward from our perspective.”
Alex shivered, his mind conjuring a vivid image of a fat blue skinned man reclining in a luxurious chair, only to explode in a catastrophic fashion after consuming a meal prepared by one of the present women.
“Wait!” He shouted out desperately. “How on earth can a king just explode? What did you have him do?”
However, despite the desperate attempts of the young man to get a proper explanation, the women before him ignored him completely.
Their attention turned away from him as they engaged in hushed conversations amongst themselves.
Their words reached Alex's ears in faint whispers that left him dumbfounded.
“Must we really go through with this? It's such a hassle!” One of them told the one beside her.
“Humans have such weird customs, right?”
“You know, I heard they even have their wives use vibrators in their anus!” A bold one told her companions.
The comment elicited a collective gasp and scandalized murmurs from the others.
“What perverts!”
The leader had her face twitch, her dark red eyebrows twitching in annoyance as her hands curled into a claw-like pose.
“Enough of this chatter, girls. Let's get it over with.” She commanded them.
Alex could only stay there, utterly gobsmacked, as the women abruptly ceased their banter.
With a synchronized motion, they dropped to the floor, kneeling before him, their eyes fixed intently upon his bewildered form.
“Please, we humbly offer ourselves as your loyal subordinates, our king!”
Their logic made nonsense to Alex, and their weird reactions were even more so.
Furthermore, having 15 alien women kneeling before him was one of the most awkwards moments in his life.
This moment rivaled the discomfort he felt when he inadvertently witnessed his neighbor being manhandled by his own mother.
But, at the same time, a flicker of temptation danced within his chest. The idea of wielding power over others stirred a warm sensation within him, filling the void left by his monotonous life.
‘So what if I end up dying in an explosion in the future? I refuse to return to my dull, ordinary life’
‘And King Alexander does have a certain ring to it.’ Or so he thought to himself.
Finally, he relaxed his mouth and offered a genuine smile.
“Very well then. From this point forward, we shall work together.”
At that moment, Alex had to begin the long process of discarding his human logic, changing his fate forever.
PART 2
A few hours later, Alex found himself sitting in front of the round holographic display, his fingers drumming at the armrest of his seat.
Meanwhile, the fifteen blue women stood around the command center, looking at him with their distinctive red eyes.
“So, let me get this straight.” Alex began, his brow furrowing in perplexity. “You're telling me that you're not just any organic beings, but a synthetic race crafted by an even older, more advanced race?”
“That’s right” Replied the Leader of the alien women, now identified as Astra 15.

Though, Alex would prefer a name that better reflected her twitching eyebrows.
Just looking at them twitching everytime Alex changed the shape of his mouth was distracting enough.
Still, ignoring the young man's swirling eyes, Astra continued explaining their situation.
“Our creators designated us as one of the many races entrusted with carrying forward their legacy.”
“Wait… designated… You are machines!”
The realization hit Alex like a tidal wave, his head throbbing with a mounting headache.
These blue-skinned women and their floating piranhas were no mere organic beings, but highly advanced robots.
That much he could understand.
‘I had a feeling something was off when I noticed they were naked and lacking essentials parts for women.’ Were his thoughts.
The swirling hologram of a vast galaxy dominating the center of their round control panel wasn’t a good way to explain that though.
He was definitely lost in another world of his own, his mind drifting out of the situation.
‘No genitals, no nipples... They're machines, after all.’
“Ahem!”
Interrupting his impolite train of thought, another of the synthetic women, Marin 7, cleared her throat, drawing his attention back to the present moment.
Alex shifted his focus to the hologram, his eyes fixed on a specific region adorned with blinking blue lights.
“According to our current coordinates, we find ourselves in this particular segment of the Kart 75 Galaxy.”
At that explanation, Astra's hand darted forward, her fingers executing a grasping motion that caused the holographic image of the stars to expand.
Before Alex's eyes, the faint blinking lights transformed into a mesmerizing display of five distinct stars, each surrounded by their own orbiting planets.
The display before him was nothing short of awe-inspiring, unique, but there was a fact that was nagging his mind after seeing the star systems.
“The question is… Why, in the vast expanse of space, have we ended up in this particular place?” Alex voiced out his thoughts, his eyes darting around in search of answers.
“I don’t quite get why you need me here!”
The women looked at him with light smiles. A couple of them exchanged knowing glances, conveying a silent agreement.
It was Astra, once again, who stepped forward to explain their unusual circumstances.
“To explain our reasons, first we need to tell you about our origin.”
“ Thousands of years ago, an advanced race existed, our creators the Lumindrak.” Astra explained, her body unusually tense for a synthetic being.
As Astra continued with her explanation, Alex remained silent, paying close attention to her words as his right foot tapped awkwardly at the floor.
“Their civilization was prosperous, spanning across countless star systems.”
Astra waved her hand in a gesture that revealed a galaxy with almost half of the star colored green. Each green star likely represented a system controlled by the enigmatic ancient race.
“Unfortunately, a race from outside their galaxy, the Umbraz, initiated a relentless invasion of their worlds.”
It was then that a shadow soon fell over the once vibrant display. Astra's hand moved again, causing the hologram to shift, now revealing a stark transformation. The once green stars began to rapidly change, turning a foreboding shade of purple.
“The war was fast, the enemy centered their power on unleashing their destructive prowess upon the very ecosystems of the worlds they invaded.”
Astra explained, her voice tinged with sorrow. “Our creators, deprived of food and shelter, were easily defeated.”
In the hologram, the last green star in an edge of the galaxy was finally turned purple.
The women's expressions mirrored the somber tone of the hologram, their faces etched with a deep sense of mourning for their fallen creators.
“Yet, our creators refused to surrender to despair.” Astra continued, her voice growing resolute. “In a final act of survival, they infused the souls of their last infants into synthetic bodies, giving birth to our race, the Astraliths.”
With her words, the hologram shifted once again, now revealing a tiny green dot escaping from the galaxy of purple stars.
The tiny green dot finally scattered, becoming many smaller green dots that spread in all directions.
The women's expressions transformed at the image, now radiant with pride and reverence for their remarkable origins.
Alex looked at their expressions with skepticism, his left eyelid betraying his incredulity with an involuntary twitch.
There was something here he was not getting.
Determined to seek answers, he tried to hastily step forward, only to nearly stumble as his feet stubbornly glued to the confines of his floating wheelchair.
His arms flailed around like a flustered octopus as he barely managed to right himself up. His cheeks became red as he stole a quick glance at the beings surrounding him.
“Be careful!”
The woman, whom Alex recognized as the group's biologist and the one responsible for drugging him, attempted to stop him.
But he ignored her warning, he had lived all his life being clumsy and such a moment was just a little distraction to him.
“Why are you behaving like robots deprived of logic then, if you have souls from an organic lifeform?”
Alex couldn’t understand such a contradiction. It was like trying to fit a square peg into a round hole, it simply didn't make sense.
Seeing this, Astra’s face revealed a frosty smile, her robotic voice gaining a certain edge.
“Listen carefully, my king.” Astra asserted, invading his personal space as she pointedly gestured at his chest. “Bodies and souls are separate concepts. The unique combination of both determines the behavior of a being. So, don't expect us to act the same way after undergoing such a transformative change.”
Astra's words rang with finality, challenging Alex's preconceptions. For the synthetic beings before him, their logic defied the norms he had known.
Alex couldn’t help but feel like a headache was about to come back as he processed so much word changing information.
“In our eyes, your human logic is the strange one, not ours.”
Alex couldn't help but sag in his wheelchair, his tense muscles finally relenting as they met the cold surface beneath him.
“Okay… Okay, my bad. I'll make an effort to comprehend your artificial logic better.”
He conceded, his voice laced with a hint of defeat.
“It’s your duty as our king to do so!”
Finally, Astra and others wore pleased smiles, their faces reflecting approval. Some even nodded in agreement to Alex's commitment.
Still feeling perplexed, Alex couldn't help but voice his lingering question.
“I don’t understand why you need a king though.” The young man admitted helplessly. “I mean, you have this incredible ship all to yourselves.”
At that, amidst the blue-skinned synthetics, one of them interjected. The one thing different about her were her calculating eyes that barely reflected light.
“That’s simple to answer.” She stated with a coldness that rendered her voice even more robotic than her companions'.
“From the beginning of our race, we have adhered to the law of having a king. It’s following such a law that has ensured our survival.”
Alex stared at her with a wide-open mouth, struggling to believe what he was hearing. After all, he had always believed that rules were meant to be challenged and broken.
“A law.. that’s it?”
His voice trembled with a mix of astonishment and disbelief.
“That’s right!”
Astra clapped, her smile showing her approval.
“At the start, we followed one of our creators as our initial king, and then he, in turn, chose a new king from a world we visited. And so the cycle continued.”
After that short explanation, Astra waved her hand upward, the hologram changing to show the image of a blue skinned man with funny long whiskers.
“Unfortunately!” She continued, her tone somber. “Our last king met his demise through an assassination while visiting a brothel at a nearby space station.”
After Astra's last words, the hologram shifted, displaying the same blue-skinned man wearing nothing but a thong, while a Jealous woman brandished what looked like a remote control.
A text dialogue appeared under her: “You're only mine!”
Then, they both exploded in a fiery display of green and orange flames.
“So, after that unfortunate incident.” Astra explained. “We decided to randomly select a new king who met the minimum requirements imposed by our laws.”
Astra finally revealed why they chose him.
Alex was far from pleased by that revelation.
For a moment his vision was blurred by tears threatening to come out of his eyes, but he endured his frustration.
“Damn!”
“You really know how to make a man feel insignificant.”
Alex chuckled bitterly, his fingers absently playing with his brown hair.
“You're lucky this man is desperate enough to play along with you crazy robots.”
In response, the synthetic women smiled, their eyes gleaming with satisfaction as they replied in unison.
“That's obvious. You met our requirements, after all!”
PART 3
Aqua 25 held Alex's legs carefully, her fingers quickly adjusting two pairs of metal tubes that encased his lower limbs, securing them to his shoes and pants.
“And done!” Aqua announced triumphantly, a pleased smile lighting up her face as she gently lowered Alex's legs from a nearby stool where they had been resting.
“With these braces, you should stop stumbling so much. Just remember to take them off for an hour each day to exercise your muscles properly.”
Hearing Aqua's advice, Alex couldn't help but roll his eyes. His face gained a nasty smirk.
“Don't worry, I'm not a complete novice to braces. I've worn them before when I broke my legs as a kid.”
Alex forced a smile, making Aqua reveal a stunned look, her eyes softening with newfound understanding.
“I know what to do.” He muttered confidently.
Hearing his words, Aqua’s face morphed into pout and her eyes turned sharp like a hawk.
“We know that much! Seriously! With the shoddy work the medics in your world did, we would have to replace your legs with cybernetics if you want to run properly.”
The blue-skinned biologist leaned forward, her presence making Alex's forehead break into a light sweat as he felt the brunt of her spiritual pressure.
He could even swear he saw sparks flying around Aqua’s body.
“Not thanks! I’m quite attached to my legs!” Alex replied hurriedly, his palms facing Aqua as he tried to create distance between them.
“Clap clap!”
The medical check up was abruptly interrupted as the sound of clapping filled the air.
Momentarily freed from the pressure, the flustered young man let out a sigh of relief.
Although that lasted only a second as Alex glanced up at the cheerful Astra and the Cold Coolen 12 who had been overseeing the whole process.
“Clapping was used as a form of congratulations after a job well done in your world, right?” Astra asked.
Alex looked at her for a second, a cold feeling like that of a sweatdrop returned on his forehead.
He even managed to force a smile that was probably uglier than that of an orc.
“Well, yeah, it is. But the way you did it, it felt like a mother overpraising her child.” Alex remarked, scratching the back of his head awkwardly.
Astra tapped her chin, her eyes glazing over as she registered that tidbit.
Then, her attention returned to Alex once again.
“Leaving that aside! We have serious matters to talk about!”
Alex leaned back on his seat, giving Astra his full attention.
“You need to know why we chose to visit this particular corner of the galaxy” Astra exclaimed, her hand holding up a thin-like paper device. “We explained to you how our race came to be, right?”
As she spoke, Astra's voice began to lose its warmth, reverting back to a more robotic and artificial tone.
Alex looked back at her in surprise. It was moments like these, when they talked about their kind's creator, that his captors adopted such an artificial tone.
“You did…. I still don’t get how you can be synthetics with souls… but yeah.”
Astra's smile widened, a glimmer of mischief in her eyes despite her artificial voice.
“Well, that's a topic for another day.” Astra said, bringing a finger to her cheek. “Let's focus on our current objective.”
She paused dramatically, her blue skin falling on a darker shadow.
“Our creators' dying wish was for us to seek revenge on the Umbraz.”
The women around them flinched in unison upon hearing the name of their dreaded enemies.
Astra looked at each of them somlenly, before continuing her proclamation.
“It has taken a long time, but we finally have the resources to expand beyond this ship and conquer more worlds.”
After that revelation, Astra glanced at Alex with a raised eyebrow, her expression eager for his response.
“Ok… I already told you guys I’m in for it.” He exclaimed rapidly, much to the relief of the women.
Alex leaned back in his seat, playing along with the theatricality.
"Well then, let's get this show on the road. What's our first stop on this conquest of yours? A land of naughty ninjas would be quite entertaining, don't you think?"
The blue-skinned women exchanged amused glances again, and Astra's eyes sparkled with a mix of amusement and excitement.
"Oh, dear king, you have a lot to learn about the wonders and dangers of the universe. But rest assured, we shall guide you through it all."
Astra extended her hand, helping Alex stand up and guiding him back to the center of the command center.
There were briefings to do and world-conquering plans to make now that everything was ready, and they once again had a king, albeit a foolish one.
And with that, the cosmic adventure of King Alexander and the Astraliths began, with a lust filled question.
