Man, I still remember how I came to that world. It was such a nice experience, you know, getting a body, being in a place that is made of something more than just colours. I still don't understand how some don't like it. There is just so much more stuff happening. It was fairly silent were I started though. And grey. And maybe not so lively. But when I found others, it got so much more fun. Though everyone had it different. Even more so the ones that were actually "born". For what I can gather, and I have "gathered" a lot, mind you, it's quite the experience.

Black. It was all black. It could not understand.
Why was it all black?
Just a bit before, everything was light.
*THROB*
What was that? What was happening?
New senses it didn't have before were confusing it. The sound of the throbing. The thickness of the walls.
*THROB*
But there was something that reasured him.
*THROB*
The warm. The gentle warm that enveloped it.
*THROB*
And that every time there was a throbing, it could see just a bit of that light. That light that always guided it.
*THROB*
*THROB*
*THROB*
It could feel it. It was going to get "out" soon. And everything was finally going to "begin".
*THROB*
*THROB*
*THROB*
*THROB*
The walls were moving. Moving "it".
*THROB*
*THROB*
*THROB*
*THROB*
*THROB*
And suddenly, it could feel the walls no more.

*THUD"
Hard. Cold. Noisy.
Those were its first thoughts when it fell. Confusion hit it shortly afterwards at these news sensations. Followed by wonder and curiosity.
It opened its new eyes, and smelled the air; more out of instinct than anything else.
What it saw, was a pure white cavern.
A pristine ice reflected a myrad of white lights, emited by small crystals all around the floor. A big and furry creature was standing in front of it, looking at it in a mix of confusion, threat, and fear.
A growling sound made it turn around.
Behind it was a creature similar to the one before, but stained in a red liquid and in a far weaker state. Even though it was just as big and robust as the other one, it did not sense any threat from it. Far from it, this one looked at it with a tender look, filled with all the warm it had ever felt and more.
All these new senses filled it with wonder and curiosity, leading it to finally inspect itself on one of the walls.
It was similar to the other creatures, but smaller and less threatening. It was also slightly different. While the others were big and bulky, it was small and round. While they were of black eyes and claws, its small claws were pristine and transparent, reflecting the light like the ice around it, its fur a pure and soft white without a single blemish, and its eyes were...white also, while emiting a soft but beautiful violet light, that seemed to leave a small trail as they moved.
The tale has been illicitly lifted; should you spot it on Amazon, report the violation.
Violet light. That made it notice something shocking and worrying.
With all these new senses and things to explore, it forgot about it. Even though it was granted sight, it was more blind than it ever was.
It could not see the "lights". The lights that permeated everything, that were its whole world, the light that even made it.
They were gone.
That single discovery above all else was the only thing that made it panic. It didn't know what to do, or how to do anything. As much as its new senses gave him ways to feel that it could not fathom until now, they were also alien and restrictive. It had to focus in a direction to graps it on its senses, and there was just so much more information. It was also hard to depart with everything it knew.
It was on that moment on which it was panicking, turning anxiously, that suddenly a big and bushy arm grasped it and brought it closer.
It was the weaker and dirty creature. It didn't know what it was doing, so surprised, it stopped for a moment.
And in the next few seconds it suddenly felt more calm. The warm of the creature somehow calmed it down. It reached it deeply, in a way it though nothing else could anymore. Yes. Like the warm it felt from the great violet light.
It calmed down and focused on that warm. And then it felt it. On that creature, there was also a pale light shining, hidden deep within it. It was weak and fading, but at the same time its warm promised protection and security.
The other one also had one. This one more stable, but emiting feelings of confusion and nervousness, which were slowly also being soothed.
As it focused more on it, it could feel all else fading away, and see distant shines everywere it turned, all similar, but all different. And it knew; each one belonged to some other creature.
Focusing inwards, the familiar sight relaxed it. A strong and white light, pure and steady, but also calm and stable.
It didn't lose anything. It just had so much more now.
Suddenly, something spurr it out of its thoughts. The warmth was fading. The gentle light very much seemed to fade also.
Back to its material senses, it could see the creature that embraced it breathing ever so more slowly and weakly. It knew, somehow, that soon it would cease to be. And that made it sad.
And that became anxiety again when it noticed that its shine and warmth wasn't just dissapearing, but going into it. As if feeding it. It became a little stronger every moment. More full. More complete. But with every moment it also made the other weaker, closer to its end.
It tried to stop it. And it almost worked. But it was so hard to control that sense of his now, on his new material cage. And the other creature didn't leave it do it. Like it knew from the beggining. That it was something that he needed.
Impatience and frustration filled him as the creature's essence drained away from it, watching every moment as the light drained away from its eyes. And soon, it was gone. The warmth gone from its body, its eyes forever to remain a dull black.
It felt pain. But different from anything before it, it wasn't from damage. It was like it lost a part of itself that it never knew it had.
Feeling sadness, confusion because of it, and wonder at all these new feelings, it stayed submerged in his thoughts for a while. Until it heared some movement from behind.
Remembering the other big and furry creature, it turned around. Maybe now that the other one, the one that had a good disposition towards it, was gone, it was going to attack?
On guard, but with clumsy movements, it confronted the white mass of claws and hair. But far from attacking, it seemd like it was just as confused, sad, and didn't know what to do also.
Both stayed like that for a while. Restless, he though of examining its light to know more about its intentions.
What it felt was a sense of loss, something he could empathize with, but still new; and worry. Worry not from an enemy whom to fight, but for something it just didn't know what to do with.
Both had those feelings in common at least, he reassured himself. As he continued examinating it and feeling its emotions, both started to calm down, and feel more at ease with each other.
As the great beast calmed down, it gradually took a feeling of determination, and it emanated as such from its eyes towards him.
As it wasn't really hostile, and even had some feelings of protection and reassurement into it, he didn't know what to do.
Then, faster than it though something of that size should move, it moved towards it and bit gently onto its neck, lifting it from the floor without it being able to offer much resistance.
It did try to move out of its grasp, but more out of surprise than out of worry; after all, if it had bad intentions, it would've felt it and prepared as such. Not that it was really sure how "prepared" he could be now.
Then it started to move out of the place, but stopped. It looked back to the other creature whose light was gone. With its hind legs it suddenly shoveled a great amount of ice and snow on top of it, before surprising anew our little friend.
As he felt the creature's inner light acting up, It's whole fur bristled and shined lightly, and with a movement of its thick and long tail, a hush of wind arose, rapidly freezing and solidifying the heap.
It surprised him. Not only that it was capable of that, but that their lights properties and feelings weren't that different. He didn't have an idea of how to do that, but he knew; that while they were similar, they were whole leagues apart. There will come a time when he will do much more. Maybe... It wouldn't be so bad to be together with it?
With the last bits of reluctance fading, and a new interest arising, they departed. A great lumbering beast, fierce to behold but gentle in its treat, with a small furball that was like a small and adorable version of it, yet with a special, almost ethereal feel to it, departed from the cave; with a deathly silent, but serene and peacefull giant eternally sleeping in a crystal case behind.
The shining crystals around on the dark, yet beautiful reflective cave gave an image akin to that of a creature with its child, embarking on a long and mysterious pilgrimage among the stars.
