I folded space to place myself behind her grabbed her right ear pulling just a little bit so she would expose her neck where I then placed a kiss.

"Oh fuck me… that was not what I was expecting." She said softly and I pressed my body against hers and wrapped my other arm around her waist.

She quickly removed my hand from her ear spun around in my grip then flipped me onto the bed. My own reaction was laughter as I realized how much I enjoyed that. She then straddled my hips and pressed her mouth onto mine. She then forced her tongue into my mouth and I realized just how much I enjoyed having others inside of me.

We laid like that for several minutes kissing and getting an idea for each other's bodies, except for the ears and puffball tail I could mistake her for Lluvia in the dark.

She then lifted herself and began to wiggle out of her dress. I began to undo my shirt then pants before she ended up ripping them off. We moved under the blankets and let our trashing bodies warm up the space. She then pushed me on my backs and straddled me again. She started grinding against me.

"See you think too much just live in the moment." I heard her whisper to me.

My only response was to gently pinch her nipples.

"Oh… fuck me… you actually know how to build a girl up. Too many… just go right in…" she said, reacting to the pleasure.

I broke the kissing after a moment then started to kiss her on the neck then going down. I eventually reached her nipple then I began to gently suck.

I felt her response change from a want to a need in her body language. She grabbed the back of my head with one hand and one of my Bun ears gently with the other. My other Bun ear she grabbed with her lips and began sucking on the tip. What she was doing to my Bun ears felt better than what was going on below.

A moment later I felt her adjust and I sort of slipped into her. She was very very warm and very pleasant. It felt good but I wasn’t into it as much as I would have expected.

After several more minutes of this I eventually came in an explosive finale that I had not experienced in years. She came shortly after I did, letting out a supremely satisfied moan.

We collapsed into a pool of enjoyment and sweat.

"That… I've had pretty good before but… well… fuck you were good." She said continuing to bask in the satisfaction.

While it was fun I was nowhere near as satisfied as I normally felt, the one thing I did experience was that wave of drowsiness. That coupled with the kind of day I was having I passed the fuck out.

The next morning I woke up feeling groggy as all hell due to the drinks but behind me it felt like Lluvia was just getting up. I felt her arm wrapped around my waist and stomach so I turned around to greet her. To my utter shock it was not Lluvia next to me. My eyes bolted wide open as the Seeker next to me also started in shock.

We both scrambled out of bed because I subconsciously reverted back to my ‘default’ self while asleep. During the commotion I switched back to Nick and just hoped she was very confused when she woke up.

“Who or what are you!” Piper said, staring daggers at me, she was fumbling backwards looking for her gear by feel.

“I’m Nick? Don't you remember last night?” I asked, by this point she found and drew a dagger.

“Then why did I see a woman when I looked at you just a second ago? And what the fuck happened to your ears?” she asked, not believing me in the slightest.

I slowly reached up to the top of my head and felt no ears… except Nick was supposed to be a Bun.

I said “Ffffuuuccckkk….” as my hands slid down my face, it went so well and of course I fucked it up the next morning.

“WHAT are You!” she nearly shouted, holding the dagger more threateningly.

“Would you believe I'm a Bun who lost her…his ears?” I asked, it was falling apart.

“Try again!” she said threateningly.

“Umm maybe some sort of hybrid or chimera, and a Riftwalker?” I said, while sliding down to sit on the floor.

“What!? Is that some sort of joke?” she said, but her eyes went wide in shock and her hand started to tremble. Some aspect of her must have believed that.

“Umm… no joke… and I’m not here to harm anyone…” I said calmly and with my hands raised palms facing her. My own hands were shaking at this point.

By this point she was preparing her dress to pull it back over her head in haste.

“Do I look like an idiot to you? It was just some nonsense made up by a subordinate!” She said, still in a sort of shocked panic.

“Okay… Technically not a hybrid or chimera… it's a very weird skill… As for the Riftwalker bit well that part is true.” I said, trying to keep my calm.

She paused at that statement.

“Can you tell if someone is lying?” I asked.

“Yes” she said hesitantly, confusion now evident in her body language.

“And did you use it on my previous questions?” I asked.

“Yes” she said after an even longer pause.

“Then you know I at least think I'm telling the truth.” I said, trying to use reason to calm her down.

"What are you?" She asked hesitantly.

"Human with a very odd skill…" I said and sort of trailed off into a shrug.

“Wait… Do you know the core breakers?” she continued.

“If by that, do I know the individuals you are looking for? Yes I do… they're my friends.” I said.

“They are also no threat to anyone except in cases of self defense.” I added, she processed that for a moment.

During that time I messaged Lluvia “Come quietly to the Seekers room, there's been an incident.”, she must have sensed my stress because all she replied with was “On my way”.

“So what? Was the lives of the Seekers and Soldirers worth it for two FUCK skill point?” she asked heatedly.

“We did not kill anyone.” I said flatly.

That stunned her for a moment, at that exact point Lluvia chose that time to walk on in. As she did I messaged her and asked her to make a sound barrier.

“Wait!? Is that one of them?” she asked in a panic.

“Umm… yes but she is only here to defend me…” I said.

“Nicole, we should end her quietly. This is a very bad idea.” I heard through the band.

I just looked at her with raw determination and anger and just said “No.”, Lluvia actually took a half step back from that.

“So then who the fuck are you!” Piper directed at me trying to ignore Lluvia for the moment.

“Umm my real name is Nicole. The woman you saw in bed was me.” as I was talking I shifted my features back to that of my default self.

Her eyes express shock and some curiosity or maybe just incredulity.

“Then what are you?” she asked more quietly.

“I'm human, I just have a particularly odd skill, it's complicated to explain.” I said in what I hoped was a calming voice.

“Ok… and you are saying that your group did not kill anyone?” She asked.

“We did not kill the two Seekers or the militia you had mentioned before, nor have we killed anyone since the start of this entire nightmare.” I said.

“And you say you're a Riftwalker?” She asked again.

“Yes” I said.

“I can also confirm she is a Riftwalker.” Lluvia said standing next to me. That made me feel better.

“So why hunt your group then it sounds like it's all made up?” She asked.

I let out a long sigh, I knew this part could get nasty if she was a zealot of sorts.

“That's because it's not all made up, I did in fact break a core.” I said.

“FOR WHAT TWO FUCKING POINTS!” she shouted at me.

“No, I broke it because the world told me to.” I said calmly.

“Oh yeah? Sure the world told a Riftwalker to break a dungeon core.” She said sarcastically.

“Yes” I said in reply.

“Wait… you're serious?” she asked in shock.

“Yup, and I can explain in more detail if you would like, I would like to put my pants on first.” I said, she really looked at me for the first time now seeing a naked woman sitting on the floor.

Several minutes later.

"This is so fucking weird…" she said pacing back and forth.

I was allowed to get dressed and give a brief overview of what happened. She accepted it without too many questions but she was processing a lot. For my part I was still trying to understand who and maybe why the murders.

"So you can change your appearance? That is incredible." She was actually more enjoyable when she wasn't trying to impress others.

"Yep, tails are fun if a bit different." I added.

"I'm actually jealous it sounds like such an interesting ability." She said.

"Oh you don't know the half of it…" Lluvia added, she was also more relaxed.

"I'm concerned about the murders however… if they did actually happen someone is to blame and that leaves very few individuals." I said.

"It's the Elf Seeker, what was his name Jared?" Lluvia asked.

"Yes… he seemed like an absolute Zealot. Also he was in his 4th evolution? Am I saying that right?" I asked.

"Yea… he could have at least 50 or more levels about our group." Lluvia said.

"Can you describe this Seeker Jared?" Piper asked, and we did so.

"That could be a high up command with that evolution but I don't recognize the description." She said.

"Also if a commander is somehow responsible for those deaths then this would be a major conspiracy…" she added.

"Yeah… honestly we were just looking for a source of information… We had no idea what to expect with why the Seekers were looking for us or changing tactics. Which by the way I rather hate myself for all of last night…" I said.

"Why? The more I hear the more It sounds like you were just trying to protect yourself and your friends. This seemed like one of the less intrusive ways it could be done. Besides, I enjoyed myself…" Piper said.

"Well that makes me feel a little better. I hate using people without their knowledge… I think I see it as a manipulation of free will." I said.

"Nicole .. stop thinking so much." Lluvia said.

"Right… so honestly I'm not sure what to do here. Are you going to keep this all a secret for now? I mean if the Seekers died because they knew I was a Riftwalker on a Quest well…" I said with real concern in my voice. The very idea that people were dead because of me made me feel sick.

"No, I'm going to keep quiet at least for now. This entire thing has felt off since we received orders to start the hunt for the five of you…" she said then trailed off at the end.

"What?" I asked.

"There are 5 people we are looking for but a human was not listed." She said.

“I could have been one of the buns.” I said.

“Yeah no… try again.” she said flatly.

"I sort of hoped you wouldn't notice that but…" I said a bit sheepishly.

"You going to finish that statement?" Piper asked.

"The rumor was closer to the truth in my specific case… the commander did nearly kill me… let me tell you… surviving an execution… Well I'm still not fully recovered from that, at least emotionally." I said.

"Wait… you were executed, that means he would have tried to stab you through the heart." Piper said in shock.

"He did stab me through the heart…" I said reluctantly.

"You survived!?" She asked in astonishment.

"Almost didn't… I umm well… let's leave it at, my shaping ability is more complex than just surface alterations." I said.

"She can change her spices at will… it's really weird to see." Lluvia said.

"Wait, that's why you appeared as a Bun… you actually were a Bun at the time." She said just as shocked before.

"Changing to Kobolt is by far the most interesting one." I said.

"Yeah because of what Iser does to you." Lluvia teased. That made me blush with embarrassment.

"Wait, I was getting the sense that you two might have been a thing?" Piper said.

"Umm… apparently I'm somewhat of a slut…" I said.

"Wow..you're a mess…" Piper said.

Piper then looked out the small window in the room for the sun.

"Oh fuck me… I'm late for my shift… shit why didn't we hear anyone pounding at my door?" Piper wondered more to herself.

"Oh… fuck that's on me…" Lluvia muttered, then she collapsed the sound barrier she had created.

We could not hear pounding on the door.

"Fuck me one moment!" She shouted.

"I was never here." Lluvia whispered and just disappeared.

"Oh fuck sorry… didn't mean to get you in trouble… oh oh really dumb idea, follow my lead." I whispered to Piper excitedly.

"Oh I need to stay and watch this…" I heard Lluvia somewhere in the room.

I then changed back into Nick and made sure I was the same bun I was yesterday.

"Alright I need you to punch me in the nose. Then I'll pretend I was the one who set up the sound barrier." I said.

"Ok I'm not going to punch you but take the blame for the sound barrier." She said, pulling part of her gear on quickly then hopping over to the door and opening it.

"Piper what the Hell, I've been pounding on this door for at least 5 minutes. I was about to break the door down." The older Bun male said irately.

"Sorry sir… my date managed to erect a sound barrier in the room without me noticing…" she said.

Thinking about that… if the leader here had no idea I didn't do that… well fuck… that was a disturbing thought.

"Ah well it's not his fault for ensuring you are at your post and on time. Get your ass to your post NOW!" He yelled at Piper, but I got the impression that his fury was at least placated a small amount.

"And you young man… if I ever catch you interfering with my subordinates again I'll have you up on charges and YOU will be scrubbing chamber pots until you're my age! Do I make myself clear!" He shouted at me, strangely I didn't feel intimidated by him. I actually found the whole act sort of funny… which almost gave me away.

"Yes sir!" I stammered out.

After that he stormed out.

"Well that was fun." I commented to Piper who was grabbing the last of her gear and a hidden Lluvia.

"It's going to be a long day…" Piper said then had an odd expression on her face.

"What's wrong?" I asked.

"Well I want to kiss you goodbye but I'm not into women." She said a bit sheepishly.

"Right now I'm not a woman, you know that better than anyone else in this room right now. Which strangely includes myself…" I said, and I heard Lluvia chuckle at that remark.

With that she pressed her body into mine and gave me a deep and passion filled kiss. Then she broke away and was out the door.

"So… who won the bet." I asked, and Lluvia appeared right next to me.

"Which bet?” I heard from next to me.

"The one where I sleep with her.." I said in annoyance.

"You did… you went so far beyond expectations… I had the final bet that you would sneak out in the middle of the night." She said in a clearly overwhelmed and amused state.

"You know life has gotten so much more interesting with you around." Lluvia said to me.

"Tell me about it… in my own way I'm in the same place as you. You're front and center in the audience, I'm on the stage… and the entire theater is burning down around us." I commented.

"That's actually a good analogy… by the way how was she in bed?" Lluvia asked.

"Good…" I said.

"How was your experience?" She asked.

"Meh… I miss my boobs…" I said then I shifted back to my default self "O there they are."

"You are the oddest person on Dirt." She said laughing at my antics.
