A Strange Sense Of Honesty
Chapter 2: The 1st Leap of Faith

Chapter 2: The 1st Leap of Faith

Castor laid in his sister's bed, the sounds of the wind and sun making their way into his dreams, a massive field, a sea of grass and rolling hills as far as his eyes could see. Castor sat, staring at the sky, his attention drawn away by a soft, but heavy thud next to him, looking over to his left, nothing, then to his right and....tilting his head he reached forward and grasped the hilt? Handle? Shaft? Of a hammer of some kind, it had a round head with it perfectly flat end on one side and the other side had some? Is? Is? That some kinda giant tooth? It was sticking out where there should be another flat end but it had a tooth! A tooth!

Looking at it, was, was it jammed in there? Blinking, he gently spun it around, being mindful of the tooth spike on one side, it made him think more of a toy hammer than any kinda weapon, but that made him giggle, the head of the weapon itself looked like it weighed more than the handle! From the little he understood of craftsmanship, but he could understand feelings, he could see, no, he felt the strange, but warm feeling of love and care coming from this hammer.

This was someone's pride and joy in the form of a hammer, years, maybe decades of blood, sweat, tears, practice and effort! Were in this hammer, gently running his hand on the head, it was wood? That was the most fantastical thing about it! He started laughing, of course it was wood, why wouldn't it be? After a couple of chuckles, looking over it, there was a carving on both sides, it looked like the wings of a butterfly, soft blue paint filled the carvings and the rest of the head was a simple brown, the handle was stark white, it didn't feel like wood, it seemed to curve near the middle, where it felt like it fit perfectly with both of his hands, near where the head met the handle it looked like column, ornate grooves seemed to all be moving toward the head as it seemed to be thinning from the head downward to where his hands were as he held it.

He smiled and couldn't help but say.

"Thank you, I'll try and take good care of it." He chuckled, no one heard that, thank goodness. Setting the hammer behind and letting the handle rest on his right shoulder blade, he looked back up at the sky, feeling the warmth of the sun as he relaxed, he took a deep breath in through his nose and closed his eyes......

----------------------------------------

Polydeuces' smile felt like it couldn't get any wider as she watched the others walk in, the round table they all sat at, having a new seat next to her and Medea, or to put it more accurately, between her and Medea. Who happened to look very irritated at her right now, small things Polydeuces, small things. When everyone seemed nice and ready, Daedalus cleared his throat, stood up and spoke.

"I'm sure you're all wondering why I have requested summons for all nearby Aspect Avatars to meet here if at all possible, in short, a new Avatar has been...."born" so to speak." The silence was only broken by the sounds of shiting Avatars in their seats as they sat in more attentive positions, any and all quiet conversations cut as they all leaned in, ready to hear more. "I won't mince words, they are an Avatar for Larcray and the brother to Polydeuces." The words hung in the air as it seemed to click for the others as all eyes seemed to be on her now, her smile now small, but proud.

SLAM!

She didn't even have to look away to know who did that.

"Yes, Achilles?" Her eyes, half lidded and her smile becoming wider as she turned to the young man, probably only slightly older than her brother. Achilles, like his mythological counterpart, was practically unstoppable, but all those wins went to his head and he put a bit more importance on himself and those in his story. He was handsome, she'd never tell him that though, long blonde hair only shortened by a ponytail, glowing silver eyes, fairly light armor and a simple helmet that sat on its side as it was knocked over by his slamming of hands on the table.

"You're telling me that before someone more important in our mythos we get one of the many children with a half sibling because of Zeus and one of the few spots that can be given left before someone like Patrocalus or Penthesilea, we get Castor of all mythological figures." Wow, what an asshole. Polydeuces decided that today seems to be fine enough to give him a piece of her mind today.

"All due respect Achillies, but despite my own misgivings for Polydeuces and her "father" I believe we should actually meet Castor before we go complaining about who does or doesn't get summoned from our stories." She was genuinely surprised by Medea standing up for her and Castor. A chuckle from across the table got the attention to an older looking man, Arthur Pendragon, the oldest Aspect of their generation, the Aspect of Leadership. He had collar length slightly wavy brown hair, the beginnings of a brown beard on his face, a red shirt seemingly a size too big for him, long brown sleeves that looked a bit dirty, tan leggings and a olive green scarf hung lazily around his neck. An amused smile on his face as he spoke.

"While I do agree with Medea and am growing increasingly short with your outbursts Achilles, I believe Daedalus has more to say in regards to our new member?" Arthur, was right technically and thankfully it seemed to get Medea and Achillies to sit down and shut up, Polydeuces chuckled, getting the attention other five pairs of eyes in the room.

"Well, I suppose I didn't tell Daedalus everything, but to make things a little more clear, I'll explain." She explained how she met Castor, him taking of his status of being alive after attempting to kill himself, earning a very silent gasp from Medea and Achilles, his very strange situation with his memories obviously being tampered with and her own curiosity about it. She almost expected some snide remark from either Achilles or Mordred, they were oddly quiet, for once. She began once more, explaining about his confusion earlier about being a Lionkin, a Red Lionkin specifically, but she didn't blame him, given his state yesterday.

Her explanation finished with the minor or to her, seemingly minor events of the rest of this morning, only briefly going over the meeting with Lucifer in the hall and then going over breakfast and the events leading up to his "birth" as Castor. Arthur was the first to recover and speak.

"So, when do you think he'll be ready?" She knew he didn't want to be unsympathetic, but asking when he'd be ready for that did rub her the wrong way, she fully expected Mordred, the biggest bootlicker for Arthur to agree with him, but she looked shocked, almost horrified at Arthur. He sighed, about to continue on but she cut him off, her fists clenched, teeth grit, violet eyes glowing and with a tone not leaving any room to argue.

"We will do THAT in four days, but we will do it the way he wishes. I, respect, your belief in holding tradition, but I will fight you on this Arthur Pendragon, verbally....and/or physically. End. Of. Discussion." She practically spun on her heel and stiffly walked away, her mind stewing, angry at herself, at Arthur, at her "father" and.....at her life. Why? Why did it seem like whenever her life begins to stabilize, something just has to happen to throw her off balance and screw it all up, everything used to be so simple, she was just a mage learning magic and wanting to help protect her home, her life, her parents and....herself.

She slowed her pace and gently let herself fall back onto the wall, not caring about the painting she hit with the back of her head and sighed, she knew deep down, at first she wanted to hate Castor, seeing him as just another intruder in her life and was going to be more than happy to just hand him off to the other Summoned Heroes and be done with him. It was earlier, seeing him practically shrinking in on himself after hearing all the gossip, seeing him wear her cloak, the hours she spent comforting him and the realization she was going to be his only family in this place he didnt know. A sigh escaped her lips, she could still feel herself boiling on the inside, damn it Arthur, she knew he was their leader, but she couldn't help but feel at least a little angry damn it!

"I'm going with you." Medea? She looked up to see her, her usual look of contempt at her, now a look of concern, before she could attempt to blow her off, she spoke. "Before you think Arthur or Achilles gods forbid, I followed you because I wanted to get out of that room and you Polydeuces are a volatile mess right now and unless your goal is to snap at Castor when you get to him, I'm coming along with you to make sure you don't frighten him more." Obviously wanting to defend herself she raised a finger, but Medea cut her off. "We both know what you're like when you get like this."

"Annoyingly on point today aren't you Medea?" There was the smug grin, Medea gave a small hum before placing both hands behind her back and leaning forward.

"One of us has to be and don't you forget it, now lead the way, I won't lie, I'm very interested in meeting Castor, seeing as he's managed to place himself close enough to your heart that you're willing to fight Arthur on a very important tradition." Medea stood up straight as she got up from sitting on the floor and sighed, silently leading Medea to her room where Castor was sleeping. Medea was silent for most of the walk, but as they neared her room, Polydeuces' hand on the door, she silently said.

"Thank you, I appreciate this more than I think will ever say to you out loud and to your face." With that she opened the door and Medea walked in behind her, quietly inspecting her room and pointing at the lump on her bed and she nodded. Medea made her way over and sat on the edge of bed, Polydeuces couldn't help but raise an eyebrow, a little confused as to what she was doing.

----------------------------------------

Medea stared down at Castor, she wouldn't lie, he was kinda cute. If nothing else, she felt a little relieved that Castor and her were in somewhat similar circumstances, unlike Castor, she remembered most of her life beforehand, her original name was lost to her though. Gently running her fingers through his hair and gently cupping his cheeks, she focused and began to chant aloud.

"Let The Heart Sing"

"Let Magic Flow"

"Let The Burden Lift"

"Let His Rift Mend"

"Let The Soul Connect"

"Astral Connection."

She ffinished her spell and pulled her hands away as she looked at Polydeuces, who looked confused, of course she did, this was a spell Medea had kept in her back pocket for just such an occasion and Castor was perfect. She stood up and walked to Polydeuces' desk and sat in her chair looking over at Polydeuces and then the, ah, he's waking up now, she couldn't help but smile at her luck right now! Polydeuces walked over to Castor as he woke up and she heard the siblings talking.

"Hm? Oh, hey, uh, sis?...I'm not sure what to call you yet, everything just kinda, happened all at once earlier."

"We can discuss that later, you don't happen to feel strange at all, do you?"

"No, not particularly, why? Am I supposed to?"

"No, just making sure you didn't sleep so much that you threw your new body for a loop." Awww, how cute, she snapped her fingers and teleported herself out of the room, her job was finished and she had some truly wonderful information about Little Castor now. She couldn't help but grin as she strode around her private study, hands behind her back, eyes bright and a small skip in her step as all she had to do now was play the role of the elusive girl and then play the waiting game and then all she had to do was play one of or both cards in her hand and then her fantasy life would finally come true!

"Have no fear my Little Castor, unlike Zeus and Greek Mythology itself. I, Medea! Will give you recognition for your accomplishments and yours alone in this world and most certainly unlike Zeus to Hera, I will be loyal to you and you alone. I can already imagine you about to be fatally wounded like your mythological counterpart, but instead of dying, I rescue you and together we save Polydeuces!" She practically threw herself on her bed and hugged her pillow, oh how lucky was she!

Not only did she have the title of Hero, but she was blessed by the God of Magic, made the Aspect of Wonder and now had the perfect way to Castor's heart! She had simply unlocked his magic, like she had done with all her classmates and she could offer to teach him. When his mana connected to hers for just that moment she wanted to hug, hold, cuddle and never let him go, but Polydeuces was there and honestly, Polydeuces frightened her, she was way more proficient and skilled with magic than her. Which at first frustrated her, but after learning the differences between their ways of magic and knowing what she does now.

She knew she'd be the perfect teacher for Castor they were both Sorcerers after all, oh! Right, she had to be ready, Castor would be meeting with her class soon hopefully, first impressions are important and she won't let the worthless gossip of her classmates ruin her chance!

----------------------------------------

Castor smiled, the smile only faltering as he thought he heard a snap and a poof, lazily sitting up on the bed, his smile clearly infectious, Polydeuces smiled before hugging him. He laughed returning her hug and asked.

"Wasn't sleeping for too long this time was I?" He could feel the grin he had was probably pretty goofy as he felt his sister let go to get a better look at him.

"I don't think so, it's only been about 3-4 hours, I believe Ms. Hanamura asked to use one of the lounging rooms to meet you, I've done most of my duties for today, I'll be nearby if you need me." Castor could tell Polydeuces was trying, so he would too, nodding.

"I'll do my best, I should also get off your bed now yeah?" He let go and got up and off the bed, putting his on the brown boots he'd been given by Polydeuces along with all his new clothes and her cloak, realizing he was still wearing it, he moved to take it off before Polydeuces shook her head.

"Keep it, I think I've outgrown it. Besides, it looks better on you, little brother." Still felt weird for her say, huh? Can't blame her, it was pretty weird to go from only knowing each other through a very weird first meeting to being siblings now. Stretching and letting loose a mighty yawn, he began to make himself look a hair bit more presentable, speaking of hair, pulling the hood down, he had some decently long hair, he even had, they were called bangs, right? Whatever, he also noticed the tips of his hair were a charcoal black, he'd even say it looked burnt, ah well, it'd probably be alright if he wore the hood yeah? Yeah, he was definitely trying, but he felt like he'd bombarded with more than a few requests to touch his ears and he didn't really feel like bothering with his hair too much, so loose and messy it is!

After a couple of minutes, Castor walked away from the mirror and followed Polydeuces as she led him toward the lounge, he could feel all the pairs of eyes on him, stop it, he heard his sister chuckle as he quietly huffed and went to sit close, but a fair distance away from the class, but she cleared her throat, obviously wanting him to go take the spot on the couch that was clearly for him by the rest of the students and Ms. Hanamura, he almost let out a whine, like a child, but clearly, Polydeuces would not budge. So he accepted his fate by walking to the couch and very cautiously sitting down, really not liking the eyes now feeling like they were dissecting his every move. His hands were sitting on his thighs and looking from side to side, on his right sat a young man with black hair, brown eyes, instantly in his head, Castor couldn't help but think.

'Generic black haired anime boy, check.' Blinking, he looked to his left and saw a young woman with long blonde hair, pretty yellow eyes and a smile with barely contained joy as he turned to Ms. Hanamura as she bowed. Remembering that one of them said he wasn't Japanese, he nervously stood up and bowed, he barely remembered anything about Japanese culture! Sitting back down he realized she might've been waiting for him to say his new name and introduce himself.

"Uhm, h-hello, my n-name is Castor Larcray, Aspect Avatar of Honesty pleased to meet all of you, I-I'll be in your care for now." He hastily added that last part, was that phrase supposed to be there? Or was that more for business? Was he supposed to bow again after that? All these thoughts and questions running through his head must've been pretty obvious as he felt a hand on his shoulder and he ended up making a sound that sounded like a squeak. His head practically swerving to his right, then his left as the blonde girl simply told him.

"Relax, breathe and take a minute, we're not gonna hurt you." He took a breath, waited a minute and tried to relax, after a minute or two he nodded and felt himself sit a bit more easily now.

"Sorry, I uh, yeah, I'm not really Japanese, at least, far as I know I'm not Japanese, since I remember any Kanji I saw I couldn't read." He heard a few mumbles that he didn't really pay attention to, but thanks to his 2nd pair of ears he heard them.

"Was kinda hoping he was a girl instead."

"Guess I was right."

"Huh, weird."

"He does look kinda cute."

"Why's he wearing a hood though?"

"Hey isn't that...?"

He cleared his throat a little louder than he wanted to, realizing everyone was paying attention to him, he slowly took off his hood and explained.

"Castor, for those that might not know, is the twin brother of Polydeuces, they're Greek mythology figures also known as the Dioscuri, but are usually most commonly associated with the constellation Gemini, Polydeuces technically has two names, the standard I know of, Polydeuces and the other standard, Pollux. To g-get to the point, Polydeuces over there, is my sister, so before you get all pissy, she's my sister." Realizing that last part he muttered a half-hearted "Sorry." As he noticed a few eyes widen and awkwardly look away, typical, wait what? Where'd that come from?

Lightly shaking his head he decided to ask. "So, uhm, any questions? I'll see what I'm able to answer and what I won't be able to." He looked around before a voice spoke up, it was from a guy who looked like the textbook definition of 'nerd' in most of the isekai he'd read and watched.

"How did you get here? We've been here for about a few weeks to almost a month now." Castor's eyes widened, almost a month? He blinked a few times before taking a quick breath, time to rip off the band-aid.

"I was trying to kill myself, I've lost most of my memories, my only memories are of media I've consumed, books, videos, movies, games and music. A few hobbies too, drawing, writing, reading and singing. Wasn't particularly good at the last one, but I remember a song or two I was decent at. Most if not all of the memories that aren't of my hobbies are in a category of 'I like this' or 'I don't like this.' As for how I just assumed the spell grabbed me last and dragged me here, other than that, your guess is as good as mine." He could tell he was being, a bit bitter at the last part, seeing the Otaku, was that the word? Step back as he also felt his own blood boiling a little. "Sorry, I don't mean to sound bitter, I just deal with a lot of those feelings yesterday, so I guess they still feel pretty fresh to me." He saw Otaku, he was just gonna call him that for now, until he said his name, nod and step forward, another question?

"Well, I'd apologize, but I don't think you want to hear though, yes?" Castor nodded. Soon a very timid and, haggard looking guy approach as well and nervously asked. "Do you remember why you tried to kill yourself?" Castor hummed in thought, starting to recall more so the feelings than any specific memory, before the Ms. Hanamura started to scold the haggard looking guy, Castor answered.

"The specific reason why, I don't think I'll ever be able to recall, but the feeling? I felt, tired, so, very tired. It was as though, I'd just, had enough of it, everything. It felt like, the world was so gray and lifeless, that, all I ended up wanting to do was take a step forward off a building." He sighed and felt the grip of the hand on his shoulder tighten, he smiled at the girl and nodded at her in thanks. "Any other questions?" He was probably only gonna answer two or three more, then excuse himself. A question came from a girl, black hair tied up in a nice looking ponytail, her arms were crossed and she looked, kind of intrigued.

"Do you know what Class you are yet?" A weird silence came over the class as they all looked at the girl and then back at Castor.

"No, I'm afraid I haven't really thought of that or if I have a unique skill for that matter, I suppose my mind's been....occupied, since I got here." A nod of understanding came from the girl, two more questions. A young man with brown hair and a slightly arrogant look on his face stepped forward.

"Why don't you know yet?" Castor already felt the headache coming on and went to answer, but Polydeuces answered instead.

"Castor, being an Aspect Avatar and a Reincarnate means he will take a, test of sorts, in a few days and then we'll know about his class and any unique skills and blessings he may have." Castor could tell she was annoyed as she stared at the young man the whole time.

"Last question." Thank goodness, a small gasp of suprise came from his left, he almost hadn't heard it and then she asked her question.

"Uhm, after you get your footing and your class, do you have any idea or a plan of what you want to do?" Castor, was stumped, he didn't really have an answer, so he went with the gut feeling he had.

"I'll cross that bridge when I get there, but, traveling the world sounds fun, I have a feeling that'll do me some good and help me really get used to the place. Alright, I think I'm gonna head back to my room and just relax for a while, pleasure meeting you all." He said as he got up and left with little room to ask another question or start another conversation as he heard footsteps behind him, assuming it was Polydeuces, he went straight back to her room, getting in, sitting on the bed, then falling on his back, arms splayed out and sighed. "Why am I so exhausted? I only woke up a little bit ago and now I feel ready to sleep again." He sighed placing his right arm over his face and closed his eyes for a second.

What the hell? Second day here, already want nothing more than to just go out, find somewhere else to be than here. Fan-fuckin'-tastic, taking a breath in through his nose, he moved his arm back on the bed and opened his eyes, ah, Polydeuces. She sat on the other side of the bed, looking down at him, a hint of worry on her face, he wanted to tell her he was fine, but he couldn't, he was called the Avatar of Honesty so let's be honest. "I, was not the biggest fan of that." She nodded and placed her hand on his cheek, he knew what she was doing and all he said in response. "Thank you, for everything so far." A smile along a soft chuckle was the only answer he got and right now, the only one he wanted.

----------------------------------------

The enforced four days came and went, Castor slowly growing closer to the others, the blonde one, Medea, helping him get used to the castle, taking him on tours, his eyes marveling at the massive building. His exhaustion slowly dissipating as he grew more active and outgoing, initiating conversations with the students more, the ponytail girl was named Rika Tsubasa, she was a Martial Artist in Class and in hobby, she also got Castor to start taking walks/jogs around the castle when Medea wasn't guiding him. Otaku and Haggard, were brothers Shinji and Takao Hiragi, Takao, the more haggard looking one seemed to be more willing to talk after Castor explained himself and Shinji seemed to enjoyed Castor's presence.

The arrogant one was Takuya Horoshi, wasn't as bad as the first impression gave, felt like he had a lot to prove, even opened up to Castor once, asked him to keep it a secret. Generic black haired protag, was actually kind of an asshole, he kept acting like he and Castor were good friends, they weren't, also kept asking really personal stuff about his sister, he learned through the others his name was Jin Sagaya. Castor just ended up calling him Quack, he just felt like it fit Jin. There were a few others in the class, Makima Teichi, pretty happy girl, usually out doing stuff, Goro Hazuma, quiet guy, glasses, didn't talk much, Ayumi Shirokawa, real tough girl, liked touching his ears, got pretty cute about it, Yumi and Yuma Terumi, twins, really weird twin humor, fun to be around and Haruka Shishido, loner girl, sat with in silence a few times, kinda sorta friends(?)

----------------------------------------

Castor, wasn't sure about this, at all, he peered over the edge of the cliff into the decently big and deep lake, Polydeuces was right next to him, meanwhile, Rika, Takuya, Takao, Shinji, Goro, The Twins, Medea and Haruka were off to the side, most looking not sure about this, the Twins looked happy to be here, Goro looked slightly concerned, but interested and Takuya looked, concerned, but was keeping his mouth shut, for now. Castor looked over at Polydeuces and a question couldn't help but ask itself again, for the third time.

"You're sure I'll be fine?" Polydeuces placed a hand on his shoulder answering.

"As long as you're sure you trust me." Well, he was damn sure he trusted her, so here goes nothing. Walking toward the edge, he did as she told him, turn around, heels together, arms spread, close your eyes and JUMP! Wind rushing past both pairs of ears as his eyes were squeezed shut, doing his best to keep his arms spread and then, he felt the water all around him, then he felt it leave as he opened his eyes seeing that he was....somewhere, maybe? Looking around, he began to walk, forward? He walked until he saw someone sitting on the ground small ripples coming from where they sat, deciding he had quite honeslty nothing to lose he walked toward, then in front of the person and sat down, it was someone in a white robe, small floral patterns lining the robe, a staff with a half circle on the top with a red gem of sorts in the middle, the staff being a smiple ivory white with green accents.

A chuckle broke the silence, the person was a she, her hands lowered her hood, she was, pale, almost as white as her staff, she wore a blindfold, she had long wine colored hair and had a smile like she'd been expecting him and was happy he was finally here. She waved him over, he tilted his head.

"Oh, for the love of- come here so I can get a good look you boy, let me see my first son." Castor blinked and complied as he approached the strange woman and sat in front of her as she cupped one of his cheeks in one hand and took off her blindfold, revealing almost completely milky white green eyes. She then gently pulled him into a hug, hearing her heartbeat.

It was, softer than his own that he could remember, he felt one of her hands stroking his hair the other gently holding his back an almost, satisfied hum in her voice.

"I wonder how different you'll be from every single daughter I've had in the past few centuries, b-Castor, do you know who I am? Do you know why I hold you like a mother would hold her child?" Seemingly knocked out of the trance of comfort he was in, he answered.

"Uhm, no, I don't think I do, I haven't learned that much about this place yet." He heard her chuckle into a content sigh.

"Well, my name is Garella, The First Saintess, Mother to All Saintesses or rather, Mother to All Saints now and you, my dear boy are one of our world's first Saintess or Saint in a long, long time. I have prayed time and again to the gods to allow my blood, my teachings to roam our world again, I'm assuming you probably don't know my teachings if you haven't learned history yet yes?" He swallowed nervously, making a mental note to look up some history books about her and her teachings after this.

"N-No, I'm afraid I don't know your t-teachings Mother Garella." He slightly stuttered out as he heard gasp and laugh, her laugh sounded so, full, like it was coming straight from her stomach and propelled by her joy.

"Mother Garella? I like the sound of that, oh I love you more than I can put into words already Castor, keep it up and I may take you from Polydeuces. Don't worry, I won't do that, I'd be breaking a major teaching of mine, I'll tell you them quickly so you may head back to your friends."

"You are the Saintess, you have imbibed my blood, my legacy, my teachings."

"You are the Saintess, you have promised to help the land and its people."

"You are the Saintess, your duty is to bring joy, bring love and bring protection."

"You are the Saintess, you serve no lord, you serve no king, you serve no god."

"You are the Saintess, any family, no matter how many or few, must be loved."

"You are the Saintess, you are divine, you are mortal, but above no one."

"You are the Saintess, your sword is aimed to the strong who strike down, to protect those who desire it and those who need it."

"You are the Saintess, you are bound by no Hero, no Fiend and no Aspect."

"You are my Saintess, my child, my student and my newest warrior."

"You are The Saintess, my teachings, are teachings, learn from them as you wish."

"You are MY Saintess, even should you fail or falter, even should you lose your way, I will always love you, I will always be proud of you and you will always BE The Saintess."

"Now then, Castor Larcray, First Saintess in centuries, First Saint and Aspect of Honesty, do you swear to follow my teachings to the best of your ability, even if that places you in harms way?"

"I swear!"

"Do you swear that, even though you are an Aspect Avatar you will follow my teachings?"

"I swear!"

"Do you swear that, even though you are Larcray's child, to follow my teachings?"

"I swear!"

"Excellent, now I send you back to the realm of the waking, I break your chains! go forth, my First Son, First Saint, Castor, you name will be yours to decide!" Castor felt himself walking forward, walking with pride and love in his heart, each step made him feel lighter and soon the darkness washed off of him as he saw the land fill his vision, he was walking out of the lake, in his right hand, a staff very similar to Garella's with sunset red accents instead of green and in his left, a scroll bound with a lock, the key firmly in his grasp, he gripped onto both gently as his friends and sister approached him as he smiled, a large toothy grin, his sense of nervousness almost gone, relief seen throughout his body and a pure silver necklace with a small icon of a pair of hands in prayer, holding a gem, surrounded by a half circle.

"You're a Saintess?!" Castor nodded, simply replying.

"The First Saint." The words that came from his mouth were full of pride as he now understood and was sure of one thing now, he was Castor, Aspect Avatar of Honesty, The First Saint and now, he felt even lighter than he had when he first got here and he took

A

Step

Forward.

----------------------------------------

Back in the strange void, Garella, The First Saintess sat, her staff still with her and a satisfied smile on her face, her eyes staring up as she hears a poof.

"Oh, what brings you here, Larcray? Punishment? Here to take the rest of my vision? Take it, I have seen my first child in centuries, I have no regrets." Larcray laughed.

"Honestly? Heh, I'm here to congratulate and reward you, that boy was a better fit under you and her than me, far as I'm concerned here, I may be his father, but I ain't his daddy! HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!" Garella's eyes widened as she felt more of her sight return, her gaze now on the laughing war god.

"Who's the 'her' then Larcray? What is your game here?" Garella only heard more laughter as Larcray said one last thing.

"Well, I'll say this, you and her certainly won't be bored with you new baby boy you're caring for!" With an echoing laugh along with a puff of smoke, Larcray vanished, leaving The First Saintess now more worried with more of her vision back and simple hope, a hope that her newest child's journey may hopefully be safe.
