"Last time I didn't know how to control my instincts but this time it'll be different." Reaching into his back pocket Jugo pulls out Zero's knife.
"Come get me moss ball." Blitzing forward with rabbit-like speed Jugo closes the distance. The bear slashes at Jugo but he slides under the swing. Enhancing his strength with his bear sample Jugo cuts the bear's hind leg. Roaring from pain the bear slams the ground breaking it. Jugo takes a wide stance and channels nature energy. Using the wolf sample Jugo maintains his speed and footing on the uneven terrain. Running circles around the bear he slashes it repeatedly. Enraged the bear turns to Jugo roaring a sonic blast. Narrowly dodging the blast the tree behind him explodes into splinters. Picking himself back up Jugo realizes he needs to get faster. Channeling nature energy into his legs he takes a sprinting stance. Speeding off the bear repeatedly shoots sonic blast at Jugo but he dodges them. Getting closer to its head the bear stands on its hind legs but Jugo jumps after it. Face to face with him the bear charges a point-blank sonic blast. Before it could be fired Jugo spins around Jamming the knife into the bear's throat and kicking it even deeper breaking off the handle. Interrupting the charge time the blast explodes in the bear's mouth nocking it on its back. In shock from being within the radius, Jugo's body vibrates uncontrollably. Recovering from the blast the two struggle to get back on their feet. At this moment Hisoka's words rang through Jugo's ears.
"Think of it like negative and positive energy. Our bodies produce negative energy and we use the positive energy from nature to use our gifts. The constant influx of positive energy throws our balance of negative energy out of whack."

"What if I control both negative and positive energy to maintain balance?"
Turning towards each other both Jugo and the bear know this fight is coming to an end. Firing off multiple blasts the bear destroys the forest even more. Using this to his advantage Jugo changes colors to blend in with the battlefield. Dodging blast after blast Jugo starts to feel the effects of the curse.
"Not now!" pushing forward he changes back to normal colors. Spotting him the bear charges a final blast. Unrelenting Jugo jumps right at the bear. Imagining the flow of nature energy Jugo pushes the negative energy out and pulls the positive into his palm. Forming a hexagonal orb in his palm it pulses. Firing off the blast Jugo meets it with his orb. Pulsing more and more the orb sends shockwaves in all directions. Sending shockwaves through the bear the knife gets pushed further into its throat canceling its blast. Falling forward Jugo slams the orb into the head of the bear sending it flying into a tree and killing it. Wheezing from exhaustion Jugo collapses due to the curse's effect.
"I have to keep moving. I have to see them again." Dragging himself to the corpse Jugo tries to collect a DNA sample. Pinging red the arm rejects the sample.
"I don't have time for this." Frustrated he gives into exhaustion. Over the next two days, Jugo takes time to recover and collect more DNA samples. On his search for new animals, he finds a rhinoceros beetle, raven, lynx, and a sturgeon. Packing his bags Jugo finds his way to the edge of the forest. Turning back he exclaims.
"Thank you, Drosera." Setting off for Handel Town Jugo whistles his mother's favorite song. Appearing from behind a tree Drosera appears.
"I helped right? Did I do good Mother?" whistling in the wind a voice could be heard.
"Yes, my little Drosera you did just fine helping one of my children."
