The birds and the trees beautifully swayed near the hut. Altarius was sitting concocting a pit, Ru sitting just besides him, observing the process with great delight.
Ru had always been delighted seeing his brother, making medicines. His techniques were quite fabulous and an eye candy. A beautiful day, with soothing wind breezing past the forest, entering their hut with a small gap, the so-called window, along her brother who was as peaceful as the leaves bathing in dew itself. She wanted nothing else. This was her ideal life.
The only thing that destroyed, the peace in her heart was a large strap of leaves tied along his chest, closing a big wound, in Altarius chest. Mei gave the wound by itself, the other day. It has been two days and Altarius had already almost finished the pill she ordered. The speed was amazingly fast, for even an elite alchemist sect, the time of seven days she prescribed would be excessively short.
The medicine, which Mei believed to be so called beautification cream that hid ugly marks, was much more than what she believed. The medicine by itself worth a lot. Even if the entire Xiao clan sold all their belongings, the women sold themselves and the children was sold as slaves, even then, Xiao clan would be unqualified to even see the pill.
The medicine he was creating, in the form of pill was called as Demon’s Paradise. Altarius himself gave the name. This was not any new kind of pill in the world, however was excessively difficult to create and was very expensive. Even the Lithe Sect, would be bared qualified to see the pill. The ingredients however were far too common. This was due to a unique formula Altarius had created.
The functions of this pill were even many times spectacular. Every Dao released some kind of ki. This ki would be traceable by the stronger cultivators if the Dao have been mastered to a particular stage. Thus, a strong individual would be able to reverse trace the ki, to know much about the body of the Dao welders,
Dao welders were the most supreme of all the cultivators. They had excessive strength, tenacious life force, strong martial skills and much more. They were suitable for everything, yet one thing. Stealth. It is dangerous acting stealthy for these people, when they are radiating out their positions to the world all the time.
The Demon’s Paradise was such a pill. It hid what you radiated from your Dao. Simpler medicines created by supreme alchemy sect of this land, were only able to hide your aura to a particular level. If someone strong forces his or her way, the protective barrier created by pill would easy break.
The Demon’s Paradise however, did not set a barrier. It just ate all the radiations the Dao released. It did not let the radiation emerge outside the body, so no way of finding about it. Even if the God came in front you, even he wouldn’t be able to understand if the guy in front of him welds Dao or not. The name was rightly so, where even the demons would be able to hide themselves from Gods after doing the vilest of acts.
The medicine was ready. Altarius rose up taking a deep breath. He had been concocting the pill from last night, without any rest.
“Sister.” He said. “I’ll be going out for a while.” He moved on to the gate, when Ru asked, “Where are you going?” He sighed and said, “The stocks are almost empty. I will go find some in the mountains. ”Saying so, he left the hut.

Ru sighed. Why you do not run brother, she thought. The clan was nothing, but hell for him now.
Altarius walked towards the mountains, in the north from the small hut he lived in. It was spring, and flora was in full bloom. He walked for ten or so minutes and reached the mountains. Drivius Mountains. Drivius Mountains were the largest mountain in the world. No one had ever seen to the ends of it. They were not very tall, but according to myths, they were as long as 82 billion kilometer square.
That was very long and considering that, the floating crown city, only had around 20 km. of the mountains in its territory. This part of the mountain was usually considered without any danger. The other areas were however the most dangerous in the world.
Altarius started marching in. He saw many medicines. Venom Froth Flower, one of the strongest antidote and poison in the world along with some, Gracious Bee herb, a great paralyzing agent. One could rarely see, Recurisis mushroom growing on the trunks of some trees, a divine treasure itself.
However, Altarius by himself was not interested in these high-grade herbs. He walked more inside the mountains, where he got what he actually came to pluck.
The Dragon’s Dew, one of the most common herbs found in the world. It was without many uses. It could be consumed, if one had acidity problems or motions.
It was also widely sold at a very cheap price. It had a huge demand, but the supply was also horrendous. Usually, even the poorest would have some stored in their homes as everyone had stomach problems, time to time.
Altarius however did not have any stomach problem. The reason he picked them was, that many of his medicines required the use of such. He was a doctor, not an alchemist.
However, the surprising thing is, even a divine medicine such as the Demon’s Paradise required the use of this herb. Altarius had one ideology. The rare herbs are for beginners in the alchemy. They made the job easier, by making pills easy to concoct.
The easiness however, destroyed the quality of the medicines. He refused to waste such precious herbs for concocting herbs. Indeed that was wasteful. Actually, the rare herbs were not useful at all when one reached; the stage in alchemy, Altarius himself was in, when one could make divine treasures from the trash itself.
Altarius rushed towards the plants, and delicately plucked them up. He then stored them in a small bag, Altarius always carried with him.

Dear Readers,
The story itself may look so bland and so typical. But it will change. I have got plans. This is going to be entertaining, as long as my writing style improves.
