The world in which this story is very much like our own but with its own minor differences. Unlike ours, this world has kept its sense traditionalism much more intact than we. There are many places in the world where the old gods are still worshiped and people take weeks or month to reconnect with their roots and live as their ancestors had, and many still live by a strict code of conduct and honor, with this being the norm of this world.
Jonathan's story begins before he has even been birthed. His mother came from Sweden specifically a family near the coast of Sweden who traced their lineage to the Vikings of old, While his father's family was a much newer one from America, with little to no history behind them, Being seen as upstarts by many of the other families around them they decide to send their child abroad to learn so he wouldn't be burdened with the contempt from the older local family's. He has been sent to Sweden as even in this world it is considered one of the most neutral countries worldwide. While abroad he begins to work towards his medical degree he ends up attending Karolinska Institute, a world renown medical institute.
Being a young man he begins to search for love while attending his classes, Eventually, a fellow student in his department catches his eyes. She was about six foot, exceedingly tall for an ordinary woman, and very well built, seeming to have an active swimmers build, she had platinum blond hair down to her mid back and bright green eyes, being comparable to a vibrant clover field in color. Shem possessed a buoyant and bubble atmosphere which seemed to draw in anyone within range of her. This aspect of her's slowly wormed itself into his heart. Eventually gaining the courage to ask her out he was quickly rejected, though not completely, with her telling him that " I'm not quite ready to have a relationship as I'm still trying to adjust to school, though if you ask me later I might just have to oblige". He ecstatically agrees, waiting until she seems to be ready and then asked her again, this would eventually sprout into a beautiful relationship for the seven years that they pursued their degrees.
Eventually they had to part ways as both seemed that the prospect of their familys accepting the other as their future partner seemed dismal due to distance, diffrence in family statuse, and a few other reasons, in the passion of what may be their last night together they joined as one, the next day parting with tears, as they had feared both families's rejected the idea of a marriage leading to them leading depressed dismal lives, Though this was not to last as it seemed that their impassioned night together had sown life as it was found she was heavy with children, that's right not just one seed was sown but two, twin brothers as it would have it. Thinking that now neither family would dare reject a marriage, or else others may ridicule them they prepare to meet once again, as it turns out both families agree that something must be done so that their family's reputation wouldn't be harmed so his family eventually reluctantly lets him go to her. He flys to her hometown in Sweden, a place known as harvest fall, a large city well known for their alcohol and chocolates.
As fate would have it the woman came from the Svenson family, Owners of the iron claw brewery, the largest and most successful brewery worldwide. When his plane has touched down he was quickly led to her family's compound, a massive structure spanning twenty acres in either direction in a perfect square, when he reaches the compound he realizes that there is a large amount of commotion happening in the front of the building with man different people entering and being escorted around he is quickly escorted inside not allowed to stop nor talk to anyone along the way, as he passes people stop and stare at him subtly and turn to quietly talk to each other, as he was fully absorbed in going to find his beloved he took no notice of these actions.
He was quickly and seamlessly escorted to a room and told to wait there for someone to come get him. He tries to ask questions of the guards but they quickly and efficiently leave the room closing the door behind themselves. He no longer tried to make a scene as he didn't want to make himself seem any worse in the eyes of his soon to be in-laws. Time passes slowly for the man as he stresses over and over on what eventualities could come of this encounter, soon three grim-faced guards come into the room and say "Follow us", wordlessly the man obliges and is lead into a massive hall. From his entrance, he could only reach what seemed to be the bottom floor of a structure, with there being three others above him lined with seating reminiscent of o a theatre all filled with people holding faces of either glee and/or pity, And what appears to be a podium before him. Quickly he realizes that something isn't right with this situation, he turns only to find that the door behind him is now closed and the guards have gone.

Suddenly bright flood light from the ceiling floods the area he stands in with light leaving him momentarily blinded and confused, He covers his eyes and contorts his body trying to block the light until his eyes can better adjust to it. Eventually, he lowers his hands, only to find the podium before him filled with older people resembling his love, and she herself constrind and crying looking out to him. He tries to speak up to ask what was happening, when suddenly he found a powerful and restraining force pushing him onto his knees, as he looked around he noticed small tesla coil-esque pylons around him he missed in his initial evaluation of the room. Unable to either speak or move he is forced to look on as the elders in front of him begin speaking. A large muscle-bound and scared man in front of him began, with a deep grinding voice he spoke: " Today we gather to rectify the mistakes of our protege, all who have a stake in this trial may now step forward".
As the man stared forward wide-eyeded and confused six people stepped forward his parents and clan patriarch, and people who seemed to be the women's parents due to their similar physiques and facial features, as well as an old man. The scared man continued then "This man before us is known as Savage Spade and is charged with the rape of Youlska Svenson second granddaughter to the Svenson patriarch..." objection screamed Savage's Father "The relationship was completely consensual between the two in question, How is that considered rape?", "As that may be" stated the man looking duly at Savage's parents "This was a relationship without the consent of the family and thus deemed as illegal buy our family laws, Therefore she had no ability to consent without the family's approval, making it rape."
His father, fuming, looked at the man and began to stutter a rebuttal, but was quickly stopped by the old man by his side, who puts his hands on his shoulder to calm him down, then he turns to look at the scared man an politely ask " and what exactly does this accusation imply?". "Well normally" begins the man casting a side glance at the spade family patriarch, "this would only lead to light punishment and one or two years imprisonment with a chance to get out early if he plays nice, due to the circumstances of this crime though the patriarch of the Svenson clan wishes to applie for the consequences to be changed". "Changed how?" ask's the man's grandfather with a sideways look to the three across from them who had otherwise remained quiet up until this point.
"Well" starts the man. Only to be stopped with a raising of the Svenson patriarchs hand. "Yes" asks the scared man with a sigh. I would like to answer this myself if that would be ok sir arbator" with a savage glint in his eye as he stares at the Spade family patriarch. "Very well" says the arbator as he shakes his head. " let us all despence of pretenses here" he says as he looks around at all those watching " we are here today because someone dared to reach above their station to try and find love and while this may seem like a beautiful fairy tale, we all know this not to be true", he stopped to once again slowly look at those who surrounded them, "what I want is his life,His blood to wash free my family's name from the stain he caused", "Never!" quickly shouted the Spade patriarch " not only was the crime committed largely due to negligence he is the only born son of the main Spade lineage!". "As that may be" shouted the Svenson patriarch "they have stained both our names and they must be washed clean, And the only thing that can do that is the blood of the sinners!". "So kill the girl!" roared the other "you have another to replace her!". "As that may be she carries not only one son off my lineage but two" calmly stated the man "Every male born to us is precious as they are so rare".
"Enough!" roared the arbator tired of their squabbling. "I shall now pass my ruling" he rumbled. Everyone quieted down so as to better hear him speak his verdict. "From today onwards until the children are born, these two shall live together as husband and wife with both families supporting them, On the day of the birth they shall name the children one shall carry the name of Spade to be made heir and the other shall carry the name Svenson to be their clan's heir, after which they shall be executed and buried together." He looks around as if in search of a challenger "Let it be as I say!". "As you say it shall be!" Chant the others. The scared man takes one last look around lingering on each of the couple for a moment with pity, sighs slowly and leaves the hall, Thus sealing their fates.
