“Thats it, wake on up”
A soothing voice sounded through the room, seeming to come from the being in front of me. The being looked up at me as it was either much shorter than me or I am just elevated.
“Boot up the learning program.”
Seeming to speak to another she backed away a small distance. Then suddenly, a sensation of extreme discomfort couched through my storage banks. After a short time the discomfort ended, only for me to find I had acquired new “Knowledge”. I knew everything that these “Humans” new. The one infant of me was a female known as Dr. Samantha Graves, and the one she spoke to earlier was a male known as Dr. John Graves, a mated couple.
“Well, how are you?” questioned Samantha

“I’m fine Dr. Graves” I answered, hearing my own voice for the first time. It was a male voice with a sort of synthesized overlay to it. “Why do you ask?”
Covering her mouth in what I assumed was surprise or shock she said under her breath “He works.” then removing her hands she showed to her mate with excitement “JOHN HE WORKS!” hearing footsteps the mail John walked into my field of vision. I then realized I could not move due to some external force locking me in place.
“Please remove the restraints locking me in place” I said to them
“Oh, of corse” John spoke this time, walking up to me he taped a keypad at my side and a clank was heard, lifting all restraints on my body. Looking around the room I seemed to be in a lab of sorts with many tools on racks in the walls and monitors all around a large cecal in the center of the room, in the middle of witch I stood.
Taking a closer look at the two, the female, Samantha, stood at around 5”6’ had a head of long curly blond hair, and pail skin. She wore a blue T-shirt, jeans, and Lab-Cote. The mail, Joh, stood at a hight of 6”2’ inches with short black hair, and tan skin. He wore a black T-shirt, dark pants, a Lab-Cote, and Glasses.
Looking to a mirror behind the two I saw myself, a humanoid being with long neck of 9 inches and long skinny (proportionally) arms ending in long slim fingers ending at my knees. I was made with a clear “skin” of sorts showing the intricate layout of my head and body (See cover). I Towered over the humans at a hight of 7”5’.
“Well then, we should name you be fore the end.” Stated John “The info on the world we gave you should have brought you up to speed?”
“Indeed John” I confirmed “And thank you.” The world was ending, the very planet was crumbling in on itself, all life would be wiped out. but they where sending me on there other creation. The Nexus 005, a ship meant for demential travel, they where sending me to another detention. One would usually think “Why wouldn't they just go themselves?” well demential travel would crush the frail humans into paste, the ship is also not equipped with life support, and its a one passenger only thing and they would rather die together than only one diving and the other living.
“No problem, well we have a few minutes so no rush.” Stated John “Samantha any ideas?”
“Im partal to Issac.” repled Samantha
“Well I was thinking something more powerful, like David.”
Looking threw Human records on ancient names i came across on I liked the sound of. “If my opinion is to be taken into account, than I like the sound of Adam”
“Ooo, I like it” said Samantha
“Me too” agreed John “It is decided, you are now Adam, first of your kind.”
Stepping into the cockpit of the Nexus 005 I waved goodbye and the last I saw of them was there happy faces waving back. I set the ship to move through detentions until a world with a strong energy source and sentient life was found. Then shut myself down until the specified would was found.
