The rangers had just touched down and what they saw was destruction everywhere.

Tommy:

Guys I think we need to evacuate the civilians.

I think so as well let’s split up both me and Tommy will fight this monster and the rest go on evacuation duty.

At that moment the other rangers called in that they cleared the civilians. The other rangers joined up and the fight went 3v1 on both. (Kimberly, Zack and tommy vs Bomber) (Trini, Billy and Jason vs Goldar)

As the battle progressed the rangers were losing ground quickly due to them not knowing that Finster used three different clay designs to create the Bomber monster so he was as strong as the later versions of the rangers. They were forced to call for help.
