I woke up to the sound of a voice.  Not the famialer sounds of my mom waking me up with a scream. It was the sound of a dull male voice with no emotion.  a voice any human that lived on earth for more than a year could understand.  It was the voice of a office worker with 5 kids, a nagging wife, and severe depresion.  all packed into one monstrous being with no soul. Somehow I was sitting in a chair. you'd think I'd feel if I'm not in my own bed but that wasn't the case.  Being confused as I always am when I get waked up early I try to stand up but when I looked down all I saw was darkness. panicing a flopping down in my seat I look around and all I see is complete darkness other than a man.  the man begins talking again with his face filled with anoyance as if he had better things to do. "Please state your wish."  he said in the same dull voice.now my first thought is to scream, but as I was about to scream I washed with a calmness. The man spoke again with even more anoyance. "Please state your wish.  Only one wish. Anything your mind can imagine, also I wont fuck you over like so many mortals think.  I wouldn't waste my time with humans either you guys are so boring. " that raised the question of why he was bothering with me but I didn't think he was under anyother obligation than to grant me a wish.  Now I would like to think I was pretty calm but when faced with this wouldn't your mind go wild? I mean anything? anything at all? I've thought of things like this but I never expected it to happen.  My mind going in overdrive.  And I ruined it like the snarky asshole I was.  I told the godly being who could grant any wish. "Why don't go to random power generator asshole"  That may sound bad. and I'm pretty sure it was.  But the godly being just smirked.  the first expression I ever saw on the mans face and he said one word I would never forget for the rest of my life."OK."  And then I  heard the screaming of my mother "Dan get up it's time for school!"
