The village keep is the largest building in the village, containing great hall where mostly village gathering happens. I reach the hall to find Lucian among his men, looks like they are in a serious discussion, but I cannot wait for it to end. I go straight for Lucian who is the lord of this village, and the head of his soldiers. " My lord" I calls him to alert of my presence in the hall. " Victoria, what are you doing here, and where is Zack?".

Zack is my uncle's name, he is old friend and right hand of Lucian. " That's why I am here. Uncle asks you to go immediately at Amma's house, something happened there and he also said to bring your man with you". I said to him. Lucian looks around his men, " alright, I am going there you stay here with Mary." I nod and he left the hall with his men, I go looking for Mary in the keep. Mary is Lucian's wife, she is like a mother to me as I can't recall my own mother. She is also a dear friend with whom I share all my secret and incidents.

I find her in the kitchen talking to gina, she is the incharge of the keep kitchen and a great cook also. Mary spot me first and smiles at me. " Tori, come on here, what happened you look troubled" she asks looking at me. " I don't know Mary, when uncle and I visited Amma's home the door was unlocked and I had the feeling something not right. Uncle goes into house to check, and comes out acting worried and urgently send me here to tell Lucian to go there immediately, and told me to wait here until he comes to get me." I told her

She also looks worried hearing this news." Gina, send someone to my room with some snacks." Mary said to cook and took my hand to take me to her room. When we reach there she told me to sit on the bed and comes to sit beside me. " Are the nightmares back?" She asks me worried. Mary knows about them and also known that I goes to aama for the medicine to stop them. I look at her face and saw concern for me. " Yes but they are not so bad as the others yet I have time.so how are the preparation for spring festival going?" I ask her to change the subject, she looks at me pointedly but let the focus change to upcoming celebration of the spring festival.

zack pov:

i know something like this to happen sooner or later, but looking all around the house I fear we were not ready for it. Its look like someone search the house urgently looking for something, whoever it was does not use caution with anything as he made the unholy mess of everything. Several years of experience and training let me see what normal eyes does not. Its not a normal burglary, the burglar made it look like it was searching the house for valuable items but it just an illusion. Hearing voices outside, I go looking for Lucian.

"What's the matter?" Lucian ask me when he see me coming from inside. "Someone trash Amma's home, but made it look like burglary." I said. Lucian looked at me " but you thought otherwise" he said. I show him the note that I found, he looked at it l know what's in it. Just a sentence of warning that amma has written us.

"Its time to tell her as he now knows of her" the note said. I know that time has come to tell Victoria about her past, that still haunts her in her dreams without her remembering it. I still don't know where amma is so I ask Lucian if he know something. "Later yesterday amma came to me and said she is going to visit her relative, don't know for how long. I asked where that relative lives but she didn't answer my question and left quickly" he then order his men to search the area for some clue as for who did this to house. But I know someone was looking for amma and she knew it somehow, that why she left the village. But the note that she left behind let me know that time has come for Victoria to learn about her and the fate that she has to face to save our Kingdom.
