Hey everyone, sorry this isn't a chapter. To be honest, I'm having a hard time writing new chapters of A Place to Belong, and because my health isn't the best, I have limited time and energy to devote to writing. Becuase of this, I've decided to move chapters of this story to a "whenever I can write them" basis and focus on my new story, To Conquer Fate, at least until I get the new story up and running.
I'm sure some of you want me to focus on this story, or even Exponential Mana Regeneration, but since I'm still learning and growing as a writer the best thing I can do is continue to put chapters out, and if the best way I can do that is to focus on my new story, that's what I'm going to do. Hopefully you guys understand.
I think a lot of you will enjoy the new story though, and I'm excited to be writing it and can't wait to start posting. I'm currently aiming for a mid-March release date after I build up a good bank of chapters to ensure a good release rate early on, but if you want to become a Patron the first three chapters are currently up on my Patreon as a teaser. I also plan to release most of the chapters on there all at once when I start posting. Most of those chapters in the initial posting, and the current three teaser chapters, will be available at the $1 tier for those interested.

I know it doesn't always seem like it to me, but my health is slowly, very slowly, improving, and I look forward to the time when I'm better able to keep a schedule for all my loyal readers on Royal Road. In the meantime, thanks for sticking with me and reading my stories, and I'll try my best to write as much as I can.

Synopsis for new story: To Conquer Fate
The Dimension Wars almost broke the very fabric of reality, each dimension and race struggling for supremacy in the fight to obtain the resources located in the void between dimensions. Under threat of their home worlds disappearing into the void, the major races and dimensions gathered together to form a truce, stopping the endless conflict. After decades of meetings and deliberation The Tower was born. A colossal structure formed in the void, The Tower would act as a proving ground, a place where each race could send a champion to compete. The higher their champion climbed, the more resources their race had access to.
Waking up naked with his memories sealed, Tormacc must climb The Tower. Left with only vague impressions of his people and a sense of duty to guide his way the only thing he knows is he has to move forward and get stronger. But without any actual memories of his home planet he has no idea what his life was like before entering The Tower, or what those memories would reveal to him once unsealed.
