I loved you .

I’ve loved you for a while now .

Longer than it really may seems.

I’ve loved you from a distance

And I’ve loved you in my dreams.

I’ve loved you when it was hard to.

When no one else would

I loved you when it was beneficial .

You know the “in” thing to do .

But they were fetishizing your gifts, making your Worth minuscule .

But I saw you as God, and savor in the thoughts of you being in my romance flicks and being The star.

Left hand on the steering wheel

right hand inside your cookie Jar.

But I woke up finally now

it seems so far.

But nonetheless I still love you .

And I fell way back .

Only your actions could have pushed me away,

how many times have I explained that ?

The constant Olympic Games to wear your love proud like a flag when you win the gold medal,

and the competition comprised of a group of not-as qualified fellows.

But instead I get shot down like a game of bow and arrows.

I wish you could return the favor one day.

But that’s not why we love.

Because I’ll love you the same even if I never luck up.

But I just hope that you see me for what i’m worth.

So my “I love you’s” make you smile instead of make me hurt .”
