Chapter three: The encounter

All her life she was a loner living in New York City, a lively City, New York, was but she never got the chance to see the liveliness of the place she longed to go and enjoy her life all her mate s though she has the passion. Fami was like a bird in a cage with broken wings and scattered dreams, but still, try to be and hope that one day she would be able to wake her every dream.

Fami shifted from her thoughts when she was out of the house smiles was all over her face. she heaves a sigh of relief and muttered within her breath, "finally"; she said and went to hail a taxi but remember that she did not have any cash. She sighs and continues to walk towards the city centre and thinking about what she will be exploring tonight and giggles.

Fami didn't know where to start the night as she was wandering around the city something caught her attention. It's was a bar buzzing with people all around the place, she was amazed because she had never seen a crowd of people and with their excitement which amazed her the most. She was curious about what they were excited about, so she decided to go in and take a look inside. She started walking in hurried footsteps and when she was inside it was the sound of the music was so loud that she couldn't hear her breathing. She went to the bar counter and sat down smiling at the bartender and he smiled back at her and ask her what she wants to drink and she said she wanted water, the bartender chuckle and ask her, did you come all the way just to drink water or we have something sweeter than water would you like to try it. When the bartender finished his speech she was like dumb*** staring at the bartender not knowing what to decide. The bartender seeing her confusing look asking again, do you want to have anything we have here shots, cocktails and many more what would you like in these two. Fami thought a second and whispered, "I will try cocktail the name sounds sweet," "okay let's go for a cocktail then," said the bartender with a small smile. And jokingly said to her a longer smile will give you an expensive one for free and her smile widened and he laughed loudly shaking his head in amazement. Fami sat in her sit enjoying her free cocktail smiling her heart out, just then a young man came to sit beside her and ask the bartender for a tequila she looks up to meet with his gaze and their hearts stopped beating at that moment for a second.
