DJ: this one is coming from the east side.

Andrea: how are you going to snipe them. Without causing more of the infected to get drawn in.

Me: she has a point but what do we do.

DJ: there’s 4 more coming from the north and south ends. Wait that’s odd the infected up stairs just got more abrupt like there chasing after something and one of them disappeared.

Me: Was there a changer up there.

Jarrad: did they not realize if they did it in the group of the infected that the infected would turn on them.

Me: maybe that’s why the other changers where drawn out.

DJ: yeah maybe it was some kind of distress signal.

Me: wait then doesn’t that mean there going to try to get in here.

DJ: well the one up stairs didn’t get to change back the infected already got them. Wait!! What all the others vanished but there’s was one small tip of a foot print hit the ground for a second.

Alice: hey maybe it was the Alfred guy.

Me: oh yeah that make since it was about the same amount of time it took him to get here with mike. Well at least we no will be safe from the changers.

DJ: the only strange thing is why can’t I hear them after they switch back it’s like there stuck between human and infected and they no longer exists as either one so neither dose there foot steps.

me: not sure I think we should all stay inside for the rest of the day to be on the safe side.

me: Alice!!! Your ability is happening again. You said you where scared last time what’s wrong this time.

alice: I’m I’m not sure I think it’s was out of fear from the changers I.....I can’t control it.

Andrea: that explains why when we first got here max was laying on the ground with his ears covered after a few mins of being here he hurd your terror scream.

Me: I guess that’s what we can call your ability Alice the terror scream.

Toby: they both are blue.

Teara: Alice, just calm down honey where fine.

Me: alice we need to work on you controlling your ability.

alice: I’m fine now it’s like after I change from my normal skin color to blue I can control it better like my hair and stuff I still can’t control my ability. I can’t control when I start to change either It’s like the fears controls it.

Me: so it’s kinda like and escape ability.

DJ: I can hear the foot steps and you can make them stop so we can leave. We’d make a great team A

Teara: yeah but alice can’t control it yet.

me: also I fear if you don’t control it. it will continue to get worse on you.

alice: “slowly turns back to normal. Can you all help me.

DJ: yeah and me to I can’t control mine either I constantly hear everyone’s foot steps when I would like to learn to only listen for specific once’s when I wont to.

Me: girls I don’t no how to help you but will try.

Teara: well, Delilah they have your blood don’t you have any ability like that.

our group had finally helped DJ and Alice gain control of there special ability also finding out doing so aloue’s the girls to have telepathic communication with each other. Right in time for the depth of winter. Delilah and a group goes out on a run when they come across a radio station still fully functional and find out jarred might not be completely out of family just yet but will they make the trip all the way to Macon a few cities away.

DJ: alice, help!! “Telepathically”

me: I’m glad you finally found out how to turn your self from being blue to normal DJ, I bet that helped with hearing the foot steps constantly to huh?

alice: yeah and it’s doesn’t matters how far away we are either. If only we can control that, now. “Says sarcastically”

me: well you girls better get ready winter will be coming soon where going to have to go out on a run.

alice: even though I can control there movements it’s getting harder and harder for me to control large crowds of them it’s like the more there is, the stronger I have to be.

DJ: but you stopped thousands of them a few years ago.

alice: that was before I could control my ability I was out of control.

me: its will be ok you don’t have to come with us and if you won’t to come you don’t have to use your ability.

Me: well alrighting then, we’ve just about cleared out everything in the shopping center. Hey wait where’s andrea.

alex: she is 21 now she’s in that stage where she thinks she doesn’t need anyone’s help and wants to do thing own her own. So she went for a “run” to get supplies is what she told us.

Me: oh is that why Matt’s not here also.

alex: yeah we wasn’t going to let her go own her own but she’s wouldn’t have it so I had him follow her.

DJ: yeah I can still hear there foot steps there not far she must of went to the old playground, matts foot step’s are pretty close to hers but not to close I assume he’s behind her.

Me: ok. So I guess me, Jarrad and Alex will go out and see where we can get supplies at and some winter clothing and Teara you DJ, Alice and Toby stay here. Max you stay to and keep them company. “Rubs maxies fur”

teara: hey D I didn’t wont to say anything but here in the last little bit max hasn’t been looking the best.

Me: yeah, I could see it. he’s lived to be 20 in dog years he’s went well beyond the amount a dog should I’m afraid will have to put him down soon. I won’t to try to find him a name tag with max on it before we do though that’s what I’m gonna looking for today.

teara: ok will keep an eye on him.

Me: Jarrad, Alex, you guys ready to go?

alex: ready when you are.

jarrad: yeah, sure.

as our group heads off on a run, the winter winds start blowing in and bringing the cold winter snow with them. And with nearly everywhere around cleared out and not much food left, they need to stretch their reaches further for supplies.

me: hey guys there’s a few problems I need to mention to you.

jarrad: what is it Delilah?

alex: yeah what’s matter?

me: well for one, i don’t no If you’ve noticed but max isn’t doing the best and I think I’m gonna have to put him down soon and I would like to find him a name tag while we’re out.

alex: yeah, I didn’t want to say anything but max has been looking ruff.

jarrad: yeah, me and Teara been talking about it.

me: well if y’all don’t care help me look for a name tag for his collar while we’re out.

alex: well, we do have a long walk this time considering there’s almost nothing left in town.

me: yeah that’s what else I wanted to talk about we’re not going to be able to stay at the prison much longer winter’s almost here and we’re having to walk further and further for food, I think we should look for a new place to relocate.

jarrad: yeah, your right I’m not sure how much longer we can stay there. It seems like the marauders have backed off also, maybe they gave up when they couldn’t find the girls.

Alex: yeah I mean it’s been 5 years we need to find a new place to go.

me: I think we should keep an eye out for a good place to stay for a few days and will go back for the rest of the group. I think I’ll put max down before we move again.
