On my way back to the Imperial court of Romus I had plenty of time to reminisce about my past.

I used to be in the army, I was in the 101st airborne, went through Normandy, Sicily, Market Garden, the Korean War and finally Vietnam.

It was during the Vietnam war when I realised that it was time for me to call it quits when I found out that I've enjoyed killing.

And during my time in service I've developed a second personality of sorts which I've taken to calling, Beast. It only appears during moments of extreme danger and well, let's just say that personality is very very violent and the word "mercy"is not found in its dictionary.

Of course, the countless times spent in combat had always left me a broken man but luckily I've met someone who helped me go through it,.

We met each other in High school. At first we started out as friends, but then slowly our relationship started to become more intimate and we found ourselves married to each other.

With me constantly coming back home a broken man and her healing me back into one piece had caused me to develop another personality which I reserved for fighting and not for civilised matter which I called the Beast and my normal personality which I called the Gentleman.

And even though "God" had gave me a new life it still couldn't wipe out the personality problems that I had.
