Humans are common on this planet, but with many differences. They have the ability to grow much stronger, faster, tougher, smarter, all because of the magic that permeates the air.

This power is unlocked and shown in many ways. Fighting beast allows you to take part of their energy upon their death. Vigorous training with highly skilled partners will greatly accelerate all forms of combat skill. Physical skills can be trained alone or with help; strength, ability, and stamina to name a few. Basic magical skills are best learned from others or can be found in spell guides, if you can find one. Advanced magic is rare and its secrets are well guarded.

To help keep track of all of these changes you will be given list, available with just a thought. It will allow you to see where you currently are and monitor future growth. New sections will become available when pertinent. You will begin this life not as newborn, but at the age of 18. As you are not a native to this world you will be given a unique gift. He still preferred being alone, so he knew he wouldn't be in the village long. He took jobs cleaning out barns, building fence, planting crops, and any other odd jobs he could find. His savings were building at a good rate since he didn't need to buy food or rent a place to rest. He kept working until he saved enough for some basic survival gear, an old sword, and very basic hide armor. He had noticed a marked improvement in his physical ability as he worked one job after another. He decided it must be the magic in the air he was told about, helping him improve so quickly. Then he remembered the list he should be able to see to help keep track off all his changes.
