March 21st, 1356. 

A young man walked with his sword resting on his left shoulder,he wore a iron breastplate and colored leather armor, he was in the canton of uri, a Swiss canton. 

The young man was striding leisurely and when he was infront of a large house he halted his feet. 

He then screamed out "HALLO!" And extended his left hand.

A bearded man popped out of his right window, he saw the young man and then went back in the house and out of the front door.

He greeted the young man and asked "are you Friedrich hohenstaffel? "

The young man nodded vigorously, he has a wide smile that showed his white teeth and he replied to the older man "yes I am! And you must be rudolf Koch?" 

Rudolf replied "that is my name" 

The rudolf went into his house and Friedrich followed him, rudolf sat on his wooden chair and motioned for Friedrich to sit, when Friedrich sat down rudolf looked at him sternly and said "a few years back several places joined our confederancy, a bandit leader from glarus named heinrick the wolf has moved his operations from glarus to uri, and my merchant caravans are getting frequently attacked by him,I heard from my friend that you could defeat him" rudolf looked Friedrich up and down "but how can one man defeat dozens of bandits?" 

Friedrich enthusiastically replied to rudolf "I will need rope and some wood!" 

Rudolf raised his eyes in surprise, his eyes a bit wide. He asked Friedrich "for what reason may I ask?" 

Friedrich smiles and answered rudolf "I need wood and rope for my attack on the bandits! If you know the location where they are I could set up a trap. I plan on pulling the rope so that the wood rolls onto heinrick's bandits!"

Rudolf placed his hand onto his chin,his beard pricking his hand. "Interesting,I can buy you the resources necessary for that, do you need any help? I could buy another mercenary to help you but I would have to cut your payment. Heinrick attacks my caravans usually from the reuss valley" 

Friedrich's face became sour like lemon when he heard that his payment would be cut if rudolf bought another mercenary. "You don't have to buy another mercenary,I alone can defeat heinrik,just buy me the resources and i will try to defeat heinrik as soon as possible" 

Rudolf quickly took out a small purse of money and gave it to Friedrich "buy yourself the things that are necessary for your attack,also bring me their heads so that I can confirm that they are dead"

Friedrich smiled and he took the purse "don't worry! You won't be disappointed!" And ran out of rudolf's house.

Rudolf sighed and spoke out loud "I hope that kid succeeds,I really don't want to buy a large group of mercenaries" 

Friedrich bought all the necessary equipment and he then crafted the trap on a hill. 

He waited for an hour until he saw a group of 40 men laughing and leisurely striding in the road "man, heinrick I love you man I really do!" One of the man spoke.

"That must be heinrik the wolf!" Friedrich thought to himself. When the men were right bellow Friedrich he pulled the rope back and large pieces of wood fell onto the men, the men were to hear the falling wood and didn't even notice it until the wood fell on them. 

The wood hit 27 men while Friedrich jumped and ran towards them,his legs loudly stricking the ground, Friedrich then jumped and heinrick saw him,heinricks eyes were wide and his mouth hanged low. When Friedrich landed on the ground he cut off a head of one bandit the stabbed 4 other bandits in the neck. 

The 8 bandits which included heinrick attacked friedrich, Friedrich moved around while quickly parrying their blows,at one point they overwhelmed Friedrich so he did a sweeping kick attack, he managed to knock over 4 opponents, Friedrich then jumped and quickly stabbed 2 opponents in the neck Killing them, he then parried the blows from the two standing opponents while the 4 got up. 

Friedrich cut off the heads of the 2 standing opponents and when the 4 got up Friedrich jumped back, breathing heavily. 

The 4 attack him and Friedrich evaded them,one bandit tried to stab Friedrich but Friedrich evaded his stabb,came up behind him and used him as a shield against the attack of another bandit, the second bandit's sword was lodged in the stomach of another bandit and Friedrich threw the bandit onto the second bandit,both bandits fell over.

Heinrick and another bandit attacked friedrich, Friedrich dodged heinricks blow and parried the bandits attack,he then moved quickly towards the bandit and sliced at the bandits neck. 

Heinrick's eyes wildly darted around, upon realising that majority of his bandits were either dead or soon dead he looked towards Friedrich and smiled. 

"I'm impressed,boy" the wind moved heinricks long hair and beard "I haven't been attacked like this in many years" his deep voice hit Friedrich's ears. the bandit threw his dead comrade off of him and freidrich snapped his head towards him, he then jumped and killed the bandit by stabbing him in the neck. He then turned towards heinrick, his sword pointed at him. 

"Hehe hehe,we will see each other again,soon" heinrick spoke to Friedrich before running off,freidrich started running after him but heinrick grabbed a decently large rock off the ground and threw it at Friedrich,the rock his friedrichs foot and he fell over. By the time he got up heinrik was already far away and Friedrich was too tired.  Friedrich turned around and cut off the heads of the 39 bandits and he placed them in a sack. 

He walked towards the merchant's house and knocked on the door, when the merchant opened the door Friedrich placed the bag on the ground and opened it,revealing the heads of 39 bandits. 

"Heinrick managed to run away, but I killed most of his men" spoke Friedrich, his face was clearly showing signs of tiredness. 

Rudolf replied to him"I'm impressed! Your pay will only be slightly cut since you didn't manage to kill heinrick, but you can stay a week in my house before you go towards your next job"  

"That sounds nice" Friedrich spoke, he looked around. 

Rudolf grabbed the bag of heads and then placed it near the door, while Friedrich entered the house and he spent the night there. 

The next morning freidrich left the merchant's house, and when he was already on the road rudolf ran after him "wait wait!" Yelled rudolf. Friedrich looked behind him and waited. 

"I have another job for you! Today I will travel to lucerne with my caravan, do you want to come?" Rudolf told him while breathing heavily and sweating. 

"I will wait here" Friedrich spoke. 

"Great!" Rudolf replied and ran for his caravan. An hour later he appeared and Friedrich jumped in one of the caravans. They headed towards the city of lucerne
