Aethia Evegraey groaned painfully, her vision dark around the edges. It was interesting, this pain was. Being a minor noble’s daughter, she never had to endure much pain before. Having fallen from around 10 feet up and landing on her back was new. She marveled at how pain could come in so many forms. Like sore pain, mental pain, and stinging pain, but she hadn't really felt this type of pain this acutely before. She compared it to being hit with a large bag of dirt. Not that such a thing had ever happened to her of course.
In a moment of clarity she realizes that is precisely what had happened to her, only the other way around. Instead of the bag of dirt striking her, she was the one who struck the dirt.

“How did I get on the ground again?” she weakly thought while the rest of her considered how painful dirt was.
As her thought process ran its course, she drifted back into a restless sleep. And awoke with a start to the sound of hooves thumping against the ground. Then she saw them, around a dozen deer, all running in her general direction. Aethia scrambled backwards. And she found her back against a tree. The deer gave her a look, and carried on running toward her. Closer and closer they came, until they ran right past her. Completely ignoring her existence as if a greater threat existed.
“As if something terrible was chasing them…” Aethia jumped up, grabbed the travel pack laying a little ways away that she had dropped, and started running in the same direction as the deer.
