I friend of mine died shortly after the start of a break I took before Christmas, I really couldn't find the energy to care or will to write so the story stayed in limbo for a bit, I'm doing better now and have taken a second look at the story I have written so far.

And I have noticed a few issues with the earlier 'chapters', namely that I was still figuring out which writing style I preferred and switched between 1st and 3rd person too often.

My writing quality was also worse.

I plan on rewriting the earlier chapters, then finishing the story off, but I plan on doing that privately before I release it all at once.

For now at the very least, I think the story is 'dead' for at least a few months, sorry about that. It should take me a few weeks - months to rewrite the first 10-15 chapters, then finish off the book as I planned on having 60-ish chapters for book one, but I will finish it, if only as a matter of pride.

I am still here though, I even helped someone create their own book-cover a few months ago, which they gave me a shoutout for. Thanks Desertthorn! I may get back into reviewing and assisting people, but in all honesty I still find it hard to 'pick up the pen' so to speak, so it may be a while before I start doing 3-4 reviews a week again.

I changed the cover as I also plan on re-creating the covers I planned on for the future novels (I had around 4 books planned, before the story actually ended. I don't mess with that '300 chapters and still barely done anything' BS.)
