So when he wakes up in a mysterious replica of his childhood home, stuck at the time of his 16th birthday party, he tries taking it in stride. I mean, no contact with the outside world? Infinite food? Its a shut in's dream! It's not like he can get out anyway, the windows are locked and the front door is... Well. The front door leads to nowhere. And he's not risking it. It's a house in the void, after all. But when a man in armour stumbles in through his front door, he realises this house isn't an escape. Its a trial.
