Hi all!

Thanks for reading my little rambly sci fi story. I genuinely appreciate that 100 odd people that have read the five chapters I have out thus far! Lately I hit a mix of both writers block as well as a rather busy month at work, so I didn't have the time or inspiration to really do a great job on chapter 6. At this point I am displeased enough with it that I have chucked out my current draft and am starting anew. To that end I also modified Chapter 5's ending line from:

If you spot this tale on Amazon, know that it has been stolen. Report the violation.

> “Lieutenant, get that rotten bitch on the line…”

to

> “Helmsmen, get us out of the way of the debris... Now!”

I did this because it seemed rather odd to call up your enemy to whine about whatever shitty thing they did. I rather doubt that Churchill cried to Hitler every time he bombed London. Calling up the antagonist after each scene may make for decent drama on Star Trek, but it doesn't seem at home here. Either way, I hope to have Chapter 6 done at some point this month.
