It was a bright day in the town of San Jose, California. Birds chirped as they soared through the open blue sky and flowers bloomed on the grass at the front of a certain school. The school was oak grove high school. The school was just like any other high school in san jose. It had no real hallways as most of the school was out doors excluding the classrooms. The school grounds were empty as the classrooms were filled with students. This school had a reputation of housing pretty bad students. A small portion of them were gang members, Delinquents, and ex juvie members. Now this was a very small portion but these few gave the school its bad reputation. Then all throughout the school the sound of a bell could be heard as students flooded out of their classrooms eager for lunchtime. Teens swamped into the cafeteria and a line stretching all around the cafeteria’s walls formed within a few minutes. A certain few student’s sat down at a table at the far end of the cafeteria watching all this unfold. As one of the student’s laughed. “Man, this is why I bring my own lunch.” The student would say as a second chimped in. “Jane, just because you bring a lunch does not mean you're allowed to brag,” One of the 3 students would say as jane would look at the student who spoke to her and laughed a bit more. “Tyler why shouldn't I?” Jane asked. Jane had long blond hair that when standing up went down to her behind. Jane had sea green eyes and white skin. Jane wore a short sleeve blue shirt with polka dots on the arm sleeves. Her pants were black skinny jeans and her shoes were pink. “Well because some kids have parents who work when they leave and don’t know how to cook.” Tyler would reply to jane. Tyler had brown short hair and dark brown eyes. He wore a black short sleeve shirt with some dark brown pants. His shoes were black with white streaks. The 2 began to argue. “G-guys. P-please stop fighting.” The third student would say as tyler and jane looked towards her. “Sorry Jeanette.” The 2 would say in unison. But out of nowhere a hand would slam down onto their table as once tyler looked up he would see a big blond haired man. This man wore what looked to be a coat with the school’s logo on it which happened to be an eagle. The jock's eyes were blue and he looked pissed off. “Um can I-” Before tyler could finish he was lifted out of his seat and being held by his shirt collar. “You owe me punk.” The jock would say as jane would stand up slamming her hands on the table in the process. “HEY BRAD! WHY DO YOU ALWAYS HAVE TO PICK ON PEOPLE!!!” Jane would shout at him as he would look towards her and sigh. He would let tyler go as tyler would look at brad. Brad would storm off as while he did he pushed a kid out of his way causing the kids lunch to spill all of the kid. “Man someone woke up on the wrong side of the bed this morning.” Tyler would say as jane went over to him. “You alright tyler?” She would ask as tyler would reassure her he is fine. Jane would smile just before hitting him in the top of his head as tyler would clench where she hit. “WHAT WAS THAT FOR?!?!?!” Tyler would ask as jane looked kind of pissed. “Tyler I know you and brad have history but what did you do to make him hate you so much?” Jane would ask tyler as tyler stopped grasping his head and sat down. “Well i-” Before tyler could finish the bell had rung for lunch to be over. The 3 said their goodbyes and went to their separate classrooms. Jane headed to biology, jeanette headed to math, and tyler headed to p.e. As soon as tyler entered the men's locker room he got hit with the smell of axe spray and he drew his head back before heading to his locker. He entered his locker combo which was 3 to the left and land on 23, 2 too the right and land on 21, and then one turn to the left until it clicks. Tyler would change into his P.E uniform which was just black shorts and a orange t-shirt. Before tyler closed his locker he pulled out from his jeans a pair of earphones and a I-phone as he knew today was run day. And on run day they could listen to music while they ran. While tyler was walking through the locker room to the exit he heard a voice. “Tyler think fast.” As tyler turned he was hit in the forehead by a flying object. Tyler grasped where the object hit and looked down to see what hit him. As he peered down he saw what looked to be a can of axe spray. Before tyler could process what just happened he was patted on the back which caused him to jump as tyler turned around. “Oh come on bro. Don't be so jumpy. I only patted your back.” A boy would say as tyler would breath outwards slightly. “Whatcha need Manny?” Tyler would ask the teen. Manny stood a few inches shorter then tyler being about 5’8. Manny wore a pair of basketball shorts and a Naruto T-shirt. Tyler looked down at manny's feet to see a pair of new shoes. He wore a pair of black slip on shoes without laces. “Oh you know. Greeting a friend.” Manny would say as he put his arm around tyler's neck and tyler let out a deep sigh. Tyler slipped under manny's arm causing the arm to fall to manny’s side. The 2 walked out of the backdoor and headed straight for the blacktop which was crowded with his classmates. Once they arrived the teacher followed shortly after. P.E went as normal. They ran and didn’t do very much. After the bell rang tyler headed to his last class of the day. Tyler entered his last class which happened to be the class of choir. He entered as his teacher Mr. Thai greeted him. Mr. Thai was a short asian fellow who was a bit overweight. He wore a pair of blue jeans and a khaki shirt. His shoes were nothing special so Tyler didn't really care. What caught tyler's eye was something in the corner. A shiny light. A yellow light. Mr. Thai had walked into his office and tyler approached the light. He touched it and heard a sound before it vanished from sight. Tyler was a bit weirded out by it but shrugged. He went over to a little cupboard that healed a great deal of binders as tyler grabbed the one that said four on it. Tyler went and sat down in his seat in the tenor section as Mr. Thai came out of his office to teach the class. About half way into the class during practice an announcement echoed through the room. “Attentions students and staff. We are officially on a code red. I repeat code red. Lock your doors and put the barricades up.” Gunshots could be heard in the background as the announcement ended. The room stood silent for a few seconds before people rushed the door and several people help put the barricades up.
