Prologue

The grand palace was a marvelous place, big enough to fit millions of humans. The reason for such size is because every god is at least a giant compared to mortals. As soon as you would walk in, you would firstly see the grand statue of the High Gods, with one of the pair having burn marks on the faces. The burned statue is that of the Destroyer. Next to him, the well-kept high-quality statue is the one who is the most fortunate, usually. The Creator of All.

The statues were atop a staircase at the edge of the palace. As you walked towards the statues, you would see many grand doors that led into the bedrooms of the gods. In one such bedroom lies the Creator, who now seems like a more transparent version of Saint Nicholas from Harry Potter. The gods know of such movies because they like to involve themselves in technology of the mortals below.

However, they enjoy their marvelous castle. Not just because it’s absolutely the most beautiful castle they’ve ever laid their eyes on in the whole universe, but also because it would be a pain in the ass to rebuild, even with their power. So, they stay in their holy and glorious abode, spying on the mortals below. The mortals think they help them, however, often times it is the gods that cause the death of a loved one. Be it the gods think that will make them join their shrine because of the gods’ affiliation, or just benefitting the god overall.

The story has been taken without consent; if you see it on Amazon, report the incident.

As you look at the statue of the well-polished, and well-kept statue of the Creator, you’d get a warm and fuzzy feeling on the inside, near your chest, which in turn would make you feel happy and proud to be in his presence. On the other hand, if you look at the partially burned, dirtied statue of the Destroyer, you would feel the hate and despair overtake your emotions, directed at the mortals below. This was fixed after the Creator put a barrier around it, and now it’s just a dirty statue.

However, the Creator grows weak by the days, and it’s only a matter of time until he runs out of time himself. When he fades away, the barrier will most likely also fade away due to an insignificant source of power. While the barrier stays up, it was said that the Destroyer’s hate personality had a harder time of reaching him and taking over.

The Destroyer was now gone from this world because of the people that had stopped believing in him. They had switched from him to the Goddess of Darkness, for some odd reason. However, it was what it was and nothing could change his outcome as he took his final breath before fading out of existence.

Now, the Creator’s time was fast approaching and he would be joining the Destroyer soon enough, or at least he secretly hoped he would be joining him. So far, the outcome seems like he will most certainly fade, but the problem was determining where he would end up next.
